Ok... Now I'm done editing my layout and I'm pretty satisfied of what it looks like now. I still need to get some things done away from my computer and I will be able to play a short session before I go to bed.

Basic rules I'm putting myself that I don't want to override: I will play 2 tables of NL10 rush (AND NO MORE THAN 2 TABLES) when my bankroll will be in the following range: 150$-300$. If my bankroll goes back down under 150$, I will go back to NL5 and grind my way up to 200$ again. If I end up reaching 300$ of if I play more than 25k hands, I will consider adding more tables. Until then, I need to focus on discipline and taking notes. Those were my strong points when I was playing NL5. I believe that it should be same in NL10. Tilt and frustration dominated my previous sessions and I don't want that to happen again. For that, I need to avoid situation that are prone to take me there again!

01:32 - I've had a good session but 5 hands explain that I'm currently down 5.64$. I've made 3 bad calls on the river costing me an avg. of 1.25 each with a second pair. Note to self, less than Top pair top kicker is no good on the river! Even with KK... The 4th hand was a bad call on a J high flop w/ AK and the 5th hand is when I got sucked out by 97o when I had queens...

I will play a little bit more, but this session is done at 2 a.m. at most...

02:02 - As I finallized my session, my last two hands were KK and AA respectively. No double-ups but I managed to get some money out of some opponents. Overall, I'm satisfied at the outcome of my session. I know I'm capable of correcting my flaws very quickly. It's all about patience. We'll see how it goes after a good night of sleep!

20:40 - I'm winning 61% (11/18) of my showdowns but I still manage to be down by one buy-in.... In my opinion, in the last 1360 hands I've got (current session) I've had premium hands not often enough compared to my raising range. AQ, AJ and AT are killing me right now... Even AK isn't getting much because of bad flops all the time. AA, KK and QQ are rare today... I'd like to see them a little bit more! Oh well...

I had a very slow start and I must tap myself in the back for being patient and waiting until it was starting to pay off. It ended up paying off alot more than what I expected. Let's hope tomorrow will be as good. Now I'm going to go play some halo with my buddies through Xbox Live.

As I work this afternoon, I will be playing my session a bit earlier today. I have a good feeling about this one!

11:56 - Since I was already on a break, I went for a small bowl of cereal. Now I'm ready for more action!

12:37 - First double-up comes in a little late... I've been waiting for this! I'm still down 3.69$. I don't have much going on. Some ups and downs, I'm trying to grind my way up... I've lost to shoves and just won my first one. Other than that, I've won a few medium sized pots. Patience is the key!

13:18 - I'm now 1-3 on the shoves... my JJ has run twice into QQ ♠_mad: The last one, I rivered the flush, but it was the queen and it gave my opponent the full house. Grinding hasn't been so bad, but isn't paying off. I'm down 7.44$ now... Not much time left on the clock to make a come back.

13:23 - 1-4 on the shoves... QQ sucked out by AQo...

13:37 - 3rd Big loss in a row... AK vs JJ no good...

13:39 - AK runs into AA...

13:41 - 1 up. Finally!! QQ vs 88.. Not without sweat though as he had a gutshot going to the river... Still 2-6 on the shoves and down 15.94$ I can't believe such a boring session turned into a disaster so fast! I was waiting for luck to come and give me hand, but instead it slaps me into the face!

13:56 - Scary hand to end the session. (Displayed below) But I ended up 3-6 in the shoves, losing 12.73$. I won't lie, the chances of me playing on my tab at work are huge. Hopefully, I'll run better in future sessions.

Happy mother's day to all the mom's playing poker! And all the other moms!

I woke up with intense allergy symptoms but hopefully they have calmed down a bit.

I think I haven't mentioned it yet, but I like to play MTT with large fields. And since today is sunday and there are loads of tourneys, I'm going to try and play in the daily dollar and some other tournaments. Why not? Back to the cash games for now...

21:17 - After an hour of tournament play, all my 4 stacks are still in play. Only 1 is above average, 2 more are above the starting stack and 1 has dropped to about 60% of the starting chip count. 2,833 players remain and the top 648 make money out of ~4700 registrations. There is one minute left for late people.

21:46 - 1st knock-out. I had a nut-flush draw against a loose donkey. He was a calling station and played every single hand I was involved in... turns out he had two pair on my NFD... Didn't get there and ended up with 3BB. Tried to dbl up on my BB with a pair of 4s on the flop but another fish had a pair of jacks. I have three other healthy stacks and hopefully I will cash 'em all! (that sounded like pokemon xD!)

Oh! Forgot to mention, I finished 2,140th. 1,967 more players remain...

21:56 - 2nd break. Here I stand as of right now (Level 10: 100/200) :

22:10 - 2nd bust. Ak vs JJ with less than 20BB, I caught an ave bet he hit a set. Oh well... still two remain for a big prize. One of those stacks has 5x up since the break! Running amazingly good there. I now have 150BB and 34th biggest stack.

I busted in 1639th place this time.

22:17 - 3rd bust... Medium sized stack-> JJ vs QQ... tough luck. 1 very healthy stack remains though. I busted 1195th... less than 66 players before the money.

22:55 - My last stack is very good right now. I'm currently 31st with 109BB. 708 players remain, that means that 60 more knock-outs and we're in the money! I have a good stack to make it to the top 100... I have my fingers crossed. I'm going to open a cash table to obtain the last few points I need to get to 125 today. Just for the break. I'll sit out when we go at it again.

23:55 - This last hour has been pretty hard. My pair of jacks lost to KTs and later my AJs hit a wall when my opponent hit quad 8's on the flop. I'm down to 8BB at level 19: 600/1.2k 150 Ante. We can only hope for a miracle at this point.

Oh, and during the last break, I unlocked another 10$ increment of the Added bonus. That was the 9th one! One more to go. Overall, cash games have been great to me today. I'll explain later. Tourney is about to continue.

00:33 - I've been grinding and I manage to still have 10BB left. But I only have 1/3 of the avg stack and 181 players remain.

00:43 - With only 7BB I get 62s. I flop the pair of 6s and the flush draw. It wasn't enough and got knocked out on 152nd place. I had a good run but I think I mishandled a few parts there... Anyways, I'm satisfied with the result and I will try to make it deeper in eventual tourneys.

The NL10 was hard during the first 500 hands, but it go so easy afterwards. I lost my first 4 shoves and ended up winning 12 out of 19 overall. Without it being one of my goals, at this rate, I will achieve the Gold Iron Man status by the end of the month! I would like to be able to keep up and get there but my main goal is to get at least silver! I also want to mention that I only need 246 FT points to complete the added bonus! I have until thursday to complete it, but i believe I'll be done tuesday. I'm going to be getting the last 10$ increment and 3x 10$ Rush Poker tickets. That will be perfect for me as I'm already playing there to unlock the bonus!

I might have to slow down this week because my school session is about to end. I only have 7 more days of school until summer vacations! ♠_biggrin: After that, we'll see what summer brings!

23:36 - This sucks! Shoves are going to the garbage. And so is my aggression. It seems like I'm always being called, I don't hit the flop, and 1/2 times my opponent keeps calling and gets it.... I need to stop this roller-coaster... my bankroll is reaching new heights, but the next day it massively drops. I have to control those losses... I can't be profitable in the long run if it doesn't constantly go up... Last night's 10BI loss was horrible... I can't let that happen again. I'm going to have a short session right now and another one later today.

12:45 - I had to delay my start because of an issue with a collegue... I can finally start. (with 30 minutes into the hole...)

12:55 - I won the first shove today! AT vs Q7 of the same suit. We both get the flush on the river. I must say I got lucky because he had a ten high straight on the turn.

13:05 -That's it for now... It was a short 315 hand session. It was good enough to make me realize that I need to work on my post-flop play... Somehow, I did not make profit winning my only shove. I need to be more focused on what I do on the flop because it's costing me alot! I also think I'm going to be tighter on my 3-bets... If I go by the MSS' 3-bet chart, I would go broke because the fish call way too often. Anyways... See ya later!

My point is not to prove to anyone that I'm good and unlucky or the contrary... The reason I decided to start showing this is to help me find my leaks. Maybe my pushing range is too wide... I don't know. We'll see. What's worst, is that I've lost only one BI while shovng and I've lost another 1.5 BI in 551 hands aggressing pre- and post-flop... :f_mad:....

Oh! One thing before I forget. I've noticed, I don't know exactly why, that playing at these hours (after 10:30 pm EST) is alot harder than if I play during the day or in the afternoon.... I don't have a clue of what could explain this.... If that is true, I'll try and play more often in the afternoon... Maybe it's just me getting tired, or maybe it's because of the other players' time zones.... Who knows...

Hmm... those numbers are starting to make me wonder if I should keep playing MSS on NL10.... Maybe I should build a greater bankroll on NL5 and move up using BSS... I will give it some thought tomorrow.

I just finished what was probably my last session of NL10 playing MSS... Another nightmare session just finished as I ended up with, once again *sigh* one of my worst sessions.... I've had aces cracked three times at NL10. It's strange, because I've been doing good at NL5, but horribly bad at NL10.... Am I playing the same game? I think so.... So why the huge difference? I would have to study my opponent's ranges in NL10 as they differ... But I really don't feel like doing that because I play way too many opponents in rush poker. I'm going to drop back to NL5, keep doing what I'm doing right there.... I'll then try to grow my BR up to 250$ and I'll try playing some BSS at the NL5 tables.

11:44 - I just bought in twice to this 1.10$ tourney. I plan on playing alot of NL5 as I'm close to clinching silver and gold iron man this month.

14:56 - So I'm still in that tournament after 3 hours of play! I had to buy-in a third stack as I had busted once already. My 2nd bust was about half an hour ago.... I had AK and ran into cowboys

24 more knock-outs and we're in the money. I have a short stack and I'm struggling, but I believe I can make it through. I've been short-stacked pretty much the whole way... I'm waiting for the turning point and see if I can have a few double-ups within the next break.

The rush tables were doing good. At some point, I think I was something like 16-6-1 in the shoves. Somehow, they caught up to me in a bad way! I had this short period of time where every big hand was either cracked by an underpair or called by a small pocket (when I had AK for example). I'm slowly getting my losses back but I'm about to close my rush tables soon. I don't want to overdo it.

I'm going to go get a snack before the tourney resumes.

16:10 - After I busted I took a short break before completing my session.

16:19 - I decided to join the Daily Dollar Rebuy...

16:30 - I was busy and forgot to add-on.... I found myself being short-stacked with AQ and lost to a medium pocket pair... I wouldn't have needed to shove with the add-on....

I'll take a break for now...
