In the first hand A♣:Q♥:, my first mistake was calling the 3-bet I think that if I will continue there I should 4-bet, I do think that was a mistake from my part to call the 90bb shove from the CO, but at this limits players iso way to loose a small stack. Also, being a $5.50 and a bounty, at the beginning of the tournament, players are shoving to wide. ( he should never shove there TT ).

The second hand A♦:T♦: .... I did think that he had a small pair, 55-99, or maybe TT,JJ.....hands that are not playing well post flop.... and also he had the biggest bounty from the table...so I will play ATs even if it is a flip. Yes sometimes he might have AA or TT and I'm pretty much dead, but most of the time it is a flip....and against a big bounty I will always will play this spots.

Sorry for the late reply, I have to use a VPN to access Pokerstrategy since it is illegal in Romania.

Monthly Update October

Weeks 151, 152,153,154

Played from 2.10.2025 to 31.10.2025

Hi everyone, :welcome:

This past month I kept things chill β€” just grinding the regular daily tournaments, from the $1.10s up to the $22s. After the WCOOP marathon, I definitely took my foot off the gas a bit.

Still, it was a fun stretch! I jumped into a few of the EPT season events, which added some excitement to the mix. Managed to snag a few nice results both in the daily grind and those EPT events. All in all, it was a slower-paced month β€” but one with some nice runs and good vibes throughout. Here are some of them:

Overall, I wrapped up the month with a small profit β€” nothing huge. πŸ’°
This month, I’ll be sticking to the same regular daily tournaments, keeping the grind steady until PokerStars spices things up with some new special events. Let’s see what’s coming next!

The bankroll’s growing slowly but surely β€” steady progress, no rush. πŸ’ͺ I’ve also started diving back into study mode β€” time to patch up those leaks and keep improving my game. :pcuser:

Monthly Update November

Weeks 155,156,157,158

Played from 01.11.2025 to 01.12.2025

Hi everyone, :welcome:

This past month I continued playing the dailies tournaments, and I made a schedule that starts at 7:00 PM my time and goes until I finish the last tournament. ( usually around 2:00 AM ), I play micro tournaments starting $0.55 to $11, most of the regulars and pretty much all bounties. The last tournament that I register is the $11 Mini Daily Cooldown.

I started the month cashing in the $5.50 HR Bounty, and continued the next day with the $11 Mystery Bounty and also the Episode 26-L of the EPT Season.

On Tuesday I cashed in the $11 Micro Super, but most of my results came from the $5.50 HR Bounty Builder.

I reached the final table in the $1.10 Bigger on 9th November, I was unlucky to exit after this hand:

PokerStars - 8000/16000 Ante 2000 NL - Holdem - 6 players

BTN wins 411,662

Here are some more $5.50 HR results :f_biggrin: but still not a final table in this tournament. It seems like I loose focus after 3-4 hours of play. :f_frown:

After this I played the regulars dailies until the Bounty Builder Series started, and that week before was brutal, I lost every single all in:

I play with a very conservative bankroll management of 300–400 buy-ins exactly because of periods like this.
Sometimes I run bad, sometimes I play bad – I lose focus, overplay my hands, make mistakes. This is also part of poker, but it’s the side that most people don’t talk about.
A strong bankroll management is what helps you survive these β€œbad luck + bad play” phases without going broke and allows you to keep playing, learning and improving.

For me Bounty Builder Series was a bust, I cashed in some events and ended with a min cash in the $22 Big Mystery, but with no bounties. This month I will focus on the BSOP Online, I will play some events. Started already and cashed into the first one, so lets hope I can finally end this year big.

So this Month the Bankroll is:

Played from 01.11.2025 to 01.12.2025

Starting Bankroll: T$1000.50
Last week Bankroll: $3030.21
Current Bankroll: $3005.40

Profit from last update: - $24.81

Goal: $10 000

Have a great week everyone :f_thumbsup: :gl:

Monthly Update December

Weeks 159, 160, 161, 162, 163* (half)

Played from 2.12.2025 to 31.12.2025

Hi everyone, :welcome:

I apologize for the late update, been pretty busy this past weeks, :milord:

It seems like every other month there is a promotion at Pokerstars and some new series. This past month was BSOP Online with some very nice tournaments and some of them where synchronizing perfectly with my schedule. The series started on 7th of December and I was playing it almost every day, along with my daily scheduled tournaments.

First tournament played on 2nd of December was the $5.50 Micro Bounty Builder , it started rough with me being KO after this hand and it felt like another month of bad beats on the river :pcuser: :

I started to play almost daily the $11 Mini Daily Cooldown, this one is a Mystery Bounty tournament but it is a turbo (almost a hyper - turbo when you reach the money bubble ), in this one I am trying to get used to learn how to properly play this kind of tournament. I have some learning to do here, and get used to how loose players are playing in this one.

This is my last hand on the first tournament that I played....it's strange to see players shoving Ax hands very easily, compared with other tournaments, even when the mystery bounty is not into play:

For me BSOP Online started on 7th with the BSOP Online 12-L event, played well and managed to get into cash places and got some bounties along the way. After that I continued with BSOP 03 - Sunday Storm Special and got a decent result. I was really hoping to get into day 2 there, I was in a good position there, but I made some stupid mistakes postflop and ruined my stack: _mad:

Continued to play and had some nice results but nothing exceptional, until the 21th of December when I had a nice Sunday with my biggest run on $11 Mini Cooldown Mystery, I managed to get into the money and had a nice result, but still here I got out in a brutal way....It was a rough month when I think about how I keep exiting this tournaments. Nevertheless the result was the best of the month. _thumbsup: Even though the results are there is ugly to see how I finish my tournaments on Pokerstars, but this is poker, that's way I love it.

Here is the last hand of my biggest win this past month:

After that I had a little break before Christmas and also New Year, but for the first time I wrote down some poker goals I set for myself for 2026, there are ambitious, but with the right amount of work doable :

* Build a bankroll online for the mid stakes ( $25 - $55)
* Make Sunday Million a regular tournament into my weekly schedule
* Play GGMasters on regular bases
* Win a SCOOP 2026 event

* Win a seat online to WSOP 2026 ----> this one is the main one, I want it the most.
* Win a WCOOP 2026 event
* Qualify to an EPT live event ( dream is Barcelona )

I will let you guys know at the end of next year if I completed any of them.

So I'm starting the 2026 with:

Played from 2.12.2025 to 31.12.2025

Starting Bankroll: T$1000.50
Last week Bankroll: $3005.40
Current Bankroll: $3047.31

Profit from last update: + $41.91

Goal: $10 000

Have a great month everyone and good luck at the tables :gl:

Looking back at it I should have folded the River bet and try to play another hand. Nevertheless I did re-entered and finished in the money and I got some bounties too.

Ended the day with event 04-L New Years Thursday Thrill and also with the $11 Daily Cooldown, in both I finished outside the money, but I got a couple of bounties on the 04-L event. On the second day I started with the event 07- L $2.20 PKO, first entry has ended with KK vs AJ, and the second one KQs vs
6Js on a J9878 bord when I lost around 21bb and with 12bb left I called a shove with AJo and run into KK.

Played also the event 10-L $5.50 MHR and the $11 Daily Cooldown, both with no decent results. After that my day ended. On Saturday I was off, so I played only on Sunday and has a small result on the $5.50 Micro Bounty Builder HR and got out before the money into $11 Sunday Storm Special.

After that I played some events that sync with my daily schedule (19:00 PM - 01:00 AM), had some decent results, but no big one.

For me the New Year Series ended with the event 136 - L $22 Series Saver, and it was done with QQ vs KK, it was in tune with the whole series.... but that month the best result came from an $11 Mystery Bounty in the daily schedule.

This result made my month not looking like a disaster :f_cry: and starting the next month with:

Played from 01.01.2026 to 31.01.2026

Starting Bankroll: T$1000.50
Last week Bankroll: $3047.31
Current Bankroll: $3024.71

Hello everyone, :welcome:

Last month was all about the SCOOP Warm-Up Series, I played some tournaments, but not many. Started with the event 03-L since it was a regular tournament for me... I played two bullets, both after I qualified via Sit & Go satellites, first one was short after a 98o vs TT on a JJT92 bord and BB shoved the river and I called. Next entry, I played it better and finish into money with also some nice bounties. Unfortunately my JJ in SB where no match for TTs.

In the meantime, I late reg. into the $11 Mini Daily Cooldown, with 5 min left of late reg, and managed to squeeze my way into the Mystery Bounty part. It's very interesting that since this is a Turbo tournament around the money bubble/ mystery part the average stack at the tables is really low 5-15bb at most of the tables. I did managed to double up after my late reg, but it didn't last long. Here is my last hand:

Then on Monday I played again the SCOOP Warm-Up 08-L | $5.50 Micro Bounty Builder |, I cashed also in this one on the second entry, the first entry was a total bust, had 66 lost, AKo vs 68s lost, AQ vs 79s lost with an A on the Turn, and last hand AQs vs TT lost 40bb and that was the end of the first try. After that I grinded slowly, still in this one none of my pairs hold, no matter what pair it was.

I did called a bit loose when I had 15bb vs two opponents in late position with my 55, but I did cover both and they had a nice bounty on them, here is the hand:

Played late that night the SCOOP Warm-Up 11-L | Mystery Bounty| Turbo event, this one was the special edition of the $11 Mini Daily Cooldown, I played way to many entries into this one. I played 4 entries but no luck in this one, and ended the night on that.

Like most of you guys know, when you play any money tournament on Pokerstars they give you a free Spin & Go Power Pass ticket, well that week I played one and managed to work my way up from $0.50 Power Pass Spin into a $1.50 Ticket, to a $11 Power Pass ticket, and that one I turned it into $55 Power Pass Step 4 ticket.

Played the $55 Power Pass Step 4 on 3rd of February, but it made me "hate" mid pairs, I got dealt pocket TTs 3 time in 29 hands and I lost every single time. My last hand was TT vs KQ, with a Q on turn. Nevertheless is a good way to use your free ticket. I'm starting to take this free tickets more serious, since you can win big with a $55 Power Pass ticket.

For the rest of the series I played in total 28 tournaments with not much results, played mostly the $5.50 and the $11 tournaments, after that I played some regular tournaments form my daily schedule.

In my last $5.50 tournament I did played very good, I definitely thought that I will win that tournament and I was in a good position, until all went downhill :mdr::mdr:
Here is my last hand of the tournament :

PokerStars - 35000/70000 Ante 8750 NL (8 max) - Holdem - 6 players

BB: 1,372,620 (19.6 bb)
Hero (UTG): 1,206,292 (17.2 bb)

6 players post ante of 8,750, SB posts 35,000, BB posts 70,000

Pre Flop: (pot: 157,500) Hero has A♦: K♦:
Hero raises to 147,000, fold, CO calls 147,000, 3 folds

Flop: (451,500, 2 players) 8♥: Q♦: 8♦:

Monthly Update March

Weeks 172,173,174,175

Played from 01.03.2026 to 31.03.2026

Hello everyone, :welcome:

This past month I was focusing on SCOOP tournaments, but mostly on the beginning of the series since I was cut up with work on the second part of the month, and I was not able to play that much.
I started with SCOOP event 02-L, I had to late reg. but I managed to double up fast when in the second hand of me sitting at the table I won an all in TT vs 66, played about 20 hands until I had JJ on the BTN and with 15bb I raised and call a shove from BB, unfortunately I was up against KK. After that hand I did not managed to build up my stack and the first event was over soon after.

Next I played the $11 SCOOP 03-L, this one was a roller-coaster like most of the Mystery tournaments are, but after couple of hours I was dealt this hand:

PokerStars - 400/800 Ante 100 NL (8 max) - Holdem - 8 players
Hand converted by Holdem Manager 3

Flop: (49,844, 2 players) 3♥: Q♣: T♥:

MP shows 7♠: 7♥:: (Two Pair, Nines and Sevens)
(Pre 55%, Flop 63%, Turn 84%)

MP wins 49,844

Next big session was on Tuesday, I started with the $11 Daily Mistery Bounty, managed to qualify via $1.45 Hyper-Turbo satellite, also at the same time I played the regular $5.50 HR Micro, played well in both, a nice result was in the second one.

Late at night I played the $5.50 SCOOP 18-L, this one was a 6-max, Turbo, PKO, played nice in this one for about 1 hour until I got this hand, maybe a bad call from my part, but I was confident that I was ahead against BB. Here is the full hand:

(Pre 68%, Flop 50%, Turn 5%)

BB wins 124,800

The next day I started with the $11 SCOOP 21-L, Micro Bounty Builder HR, I played really poorly on this one, and it was the only one that I played that day since I saw that I did not played my best game, so I ended the day with only playing this one tournament.

The next SCOOP event played was $5.50 SCOOP 44-L | Mystery Bounty | played very good in this one, but sometimes you need also luck to be on your side, ended the tournament with this hand:

After that I moved on to $5.50 SCOOP 77-L, yet again I lost most of my stack in a QQ vs AKo hand, with an A on the flop.

PokerStars - 350/700 Ante 90 NL (8 max) - Holdem - 8 players

SB wins 38,162

This is variance in poker, but a strong discipline and a good bankroll management will get you where you dream. So I moved forward to $11 SCOOP 88-L, in this one I played 2 bullets, first one I did made a call with KJs from CO vs BB 3-bet shove:

PokerStars - 175/350 Ante 40 NL (8 max) - Holdem - 8 players
Hand converted by Holdem Manager 3

MP: 25,155 (71.9 bb)
MP+1: 14,444 (41.3 bb)
Hero (CO): 13,651 (39 bb)

SB: 59,047 (168.7 bb)
BB: 35,810 (102.3 bb)
UTG: 28,558 (81.6 bb)
UTG+1: 23,530 (67.2 bb)

8 players post ante of 40, SB posts 175, BB posts 350

Pre Flop: (pot: 845) Hero has J♦: K♦:
4 folds, Hero raises to 875, 2 folds, BB raises to 35,770 and is all-in, Hero calls 12,736 and is all-in

Flop: (27,717, 2 players) 5♦: 5♥: 9♣:

Turn: (27,717, 2 players) 7♥:

River: (27,717, 2 players) 6♣:

Results: 27,717 pot
Final Board: 5♦: 5♥: 9♣: 7♥: 6♣:

BB shows 8♦: 8♥:: (Straight, Nine High)
(Pre 52%, Flop 71%, Turn 86%)

Hero shows J♦: K♦:: (One Pair, Fives)
(Pre 48%, Flop 29%, Turn 14%)

BB wins 27,717

On the second bullet, I did not managed to get anything and I called it a night. The next day I start it all over again, and I managed to get my biggest result of the month in a $16.50 SCOOP side event:

Also this month I did managed to qualify two times to the $55 Power Pass Step 4 via the free ticket that you get daily for playing any $ tournaments. I played the $0.50 Spin & Go, and managed to get 2 $55 Power Pass tickets, and I played them on two different Sundays, thinking that if I win it, I will get a Gold Pass, so it made sense for me to play them on Sunday.

Also I did played some more SCOOP events, but there is not much to report since I did not have ant big results.

So starting April with a bankroll of:

Played from 01.03.2026 to 31.03.2026

Starting Bankroll: T$1000.50
Last week Bankroll: $2876.32
Current Bankroll: $2925.77

Profit from last update: + $49.45

Goal: $10 000

Have a great month everyone and good luck at the tables :gl:

Monthly Update April & May

Weeks 176, 177, 178, 179, 180, 181, 182, 183

Played from 01.04.2026 to 31.05.2026

Hello everyone, :welcome:

For this 2 months I haven't played poker much. I was away and busy with other things, so I did not have time to play my regular schedule. When I did played, I played what was available, at the time.

I started the month nice with a good finish in the $11 Daily Cooldown, I like to play this tournament when I can because it starts at 11:30 PM my time, so everyone is asleep and I can focus more, with no distractions _grin:

Couple of days later I had a final table bubble finish on the same type of tournament. The hand that I got out was an interesting one, I will post it on the Hand Review section, because I am curios about the ICM implications and also the Bounty ( unfortunately I do not remember what bounties where still in play at the time ).

After that the only decent result was at the end of the month, also in an $11 Daily Cooldown. Other then that I had some small cashes, but nothing big.

At the start of May I started playing the Anniversary Series 01 - L $11 Phase 1, since there was a challenge when you play 2 tournaments and KO 2 players, and you will receive 2 or 3 tickets for the next day Phase 1 tournaments. It was easy way to make money and build your bankroll, since every day you would play at least 2-3 Phase 1 tournaments. I did not want to reach Phase 2, because if I did I would lose the tickets, since you can not play Phase 1 if you are already qualified to Phase 2. So my plan was to play as many Phase 1 tournaments that I can and get as much bounties and money places possible.

After the end of Phase 2 of this tournament, I played when I had time, and took most of the month free, just playing 1-2 short tournaments at night.

Overall this boost my bankroll a bit, with less tables and less grind, I made a decent profit this past two months.

So starting June, the bankroll is:

Played from 01.04.2026 to 31.05.2026

Starting Bankroll: T$1000.50
Last week Bankroll: $2925.77
Current Bankroll: $3372.27

Profit from last update: + $446.50

Goal: $10 000

Have a great month everyone and good luck at the tables :gl:

Monthly Update June & July

Weeks 184, 185, 186, 187, 188, 189, 190, 191, 192

Played from 01.06.2026 to 02.08.2026

Hello everyone, :welcome:

I took a two-month summer break from poker to spend time with my family and just enjoy life. I wanted to step away from the game for a bit. I felt like I was grinding all the time, but not in a good way; I was mentally exhausted and tired most of the time. Every day, I would wake up at 6:00 AM, go to the gym, and then work from 9:00 AM until 6:00 or 7:00 PM. I'd start my poker sessions around 9:00 PM, and if things went well, I wouldn't get to sleep until 3:00 AM. I kept that routine up for about a year and a half.

It wasn't the best schedule for long-term grinding. It left me feeling constantly drained, and I couldn't focus properly. After a long conversation with my wife, I decided that taking a break was the best move at the time.

I still played a tournament or two here and there, but for the most part, it was a complete break. I even went off the grid to my grandparents' village and spent a few weeks outdoors.

Now I'm back with a new schedule and a renewed desire to play. I even got a promotion at my job! It comes with more flexible working hours, and best of all, I will be working from home on my own schedule. I’m hungry for some deep runs and new tournament wins.

I plan to finish this challenge by the end of WCOOP, and I already know exactly what types of tournaments I'll be playing in September. I will be playing less during the week than on the weekends, and I plan to study and analyze every tournament I play much more thoroughly.

That's my plan for the upcoming months. I feel better than ever and am incredibly motivated to get this challenge over the finish line. :gl:

Also I will bring back the weekly updates

Here is the only noticeable result in this period:

Starting this month with a bankroll of:

Played from 01.06.2026 to 02.08.2026

Starting Bankroll: T$1000.50
Last week Bankroll: $3372.27
Current Bankroll: $3452.11

Profit from last update: + $79.84

Goal: $10 000

Have a good day everyone. _thumbsup:
