Btw a few weeks ago I tried SSS on NL10 .. Talk about money drain.

Even tho my sample size was really small :

After 3 days I decided to pull the pin before I ended up losing my entire bankroll . This was the worst down swing ive ever had.

So I went back to what works for me , Big stack poker.

Compared to NL5 which I have been playing a bit every now and then I was making a small profit , this however is more due to bad play, I lost about $15 with QQ after players hit sets and flushes against me basically I was paying off them off.

This hand here I flopped a set , I decided to check it , then I bet turn I figure the villian could now be on a flush draw and call which he does. On river Ace comes so I set the trap and check ... lucky for him he folds .

Man NL2 is bad in a good way .

Bad start to the day , I had software problems and had to restart when I logged back into table I had auto mucked Ah Kh and board showed flush with 2 players betting hard out OUCH !

Then I had AQ in the BB and well here is the hand ,

K would be straight so I check just incase he is trying to trap .

Lost with low flush after flopping the flush in BB . Checked it down after another spade came on turn no big loss here.

This hand here was interesting , about the min raise , some people dont like it nor do I but it serves a purpose, I got the info I needed , which was that he didn't have AA and the bluff he made on flop was super easy call.

Not that I would have fold KK anyway if he shoved before flop , its just always better knowing that you will win if no ace appears on flop.

Lost with AK vs 910 , I failed to fold turn but Im kinda drunk so my decision making process is not working as well as it should thus Im a donkey.

Got AA vs KK all in pre flop which covered the fail to fold AK hand .

Thats 91 buy ins , this makes me psychologically able to push money around in a pot with almost no fear at this limit.

I filtered all the hands I fold that were not in starting hand chart range and here is the graph, Im playing so good omg!

Now compare this to non playable hands , you can see how blinds are eating away at my profit slowly.

This is why you need to play aggressively when you have a made hand , else you will just break even.

Here is expected value with all hands played including blinds. Seems like Im playing well above expectation, all thanks to the information Ive learnt from on these forums etc .

As long as you stick to PokerStrategy Starting hand chart you cannot fail at small stakes.

Lol , maybe I should raise this flush ? Nah paired board bit risky given the amount of players in the hand and the position hes in he might easily have a boat. He had AK wow raise before flop fish. So really I could say apart from the QQQ vs KKK which was impossible fold the other hands I could easily have avoided .

Not that I didnt win any hands I just could have actually made a small profit if I didnt over play a few hands .

thanks for info , I kinda know how to play , its just that I played for 3 years with no help and bad habits are hard to break but Im working on it.

However I can't play on NL2 much longer the players are just too bad , at least good players dont rely on pure luck to win .

Yep this NL2 is annoying me , the players are so bad they have no idea what they are really doing .

I get JJ for example and have to fold before flop to K10 suited because he decided it was suited and wanted to raise it up big time.

I was raising about 8 to 12 cents but the entire table full of fish and donks decided that was cheap enough to call with hands like K10 , So I decided to just think Im on NL4 playing SSS and raise 16 .. yep well as my day has been this failed to work .

Least I got away from this hand .

I'm by no means a good player, but let me give you some advice: dropping big poker names here and there won't do you any good. You need to drop the "hey, I'm cool" attitude and start looking for leaks. As I have learned from posting hands to be reviewed: even in a hand you won, you probably made 1-4 mistakes as a new player. I know I do. I post my hands, get slaughtered for being a donk, re-read the advice given to me and try to not make the same mistake in my later sessions.

Oh, and stick to BRM. Don't go to NL5 before your BR allows for it.

If you don't want to listen, then I would just like to invite you to Everest. Find me at the tables. I play NL2, which is way below your skill level, so you should be OK. ♠_cool:
