When we assume that his minraise is only nuts our fold is correct because we don't have odds but we have to remember about implied odd to. Against this player we have huge.
vs this range:

We have correct odds to call without implied odds.
I played it very bad folding JJ in this case.
What about QQ, KK, AA?

with this kind of hand with information that villain does it with only nuts we can fold it.

we can call it.
So as we can see it depends. When we don't know information/read we should just call to min raise but when we have read that villain minraise with nuts we have easy fold with this board.

very good card so I bet again.
I made a mistake with bet sizing. I should have bet bigger.
Conclusion
I know that I made a lot of mistakes. The last weekly graphs shows that I did something wrong. Upper hands shows the same. Last week was experimental week. I was trying value betting, thin value betting etc. It's sad that I learned so much and I didn't make profit but it's not important right now. I learn a lot and I hope I will be better in the future.
About analyzed hands. As we can see I made a lot of mistake but I realized it about analysis. I hope this exercise will help me with making correct decision. I will have easier decision to make.
I hope after time the equity, knowing when to bet etc I will burn to my mind.
You know what I mean.
For know no more hands for analyze. I have half the hour to the end of the learning so I will watch some Gordon videos from the course.
JJ on drawy flop.
About notes: how reliable is the notes? How many case/incident? If that's only 1 case I think its not reliable. For this reason I usually put number behind my notes. "raise with nuts 1x", then updated the number when I see it again. When I'm sure that the data reliable, I put "!!!"
At my limit (NL10) fish like to minraise drawy board with random range ( >70% probably) and rarely with nuts ( < 30% probality )
I dont understand what you mean below:
what about bigger size?
- 3x=>> 16%
- 3,5x=>> 15%
- 4x=>> 13.9%
you mean pot odds?
bigger size rr, need bigger pot odds for us to call: bb to call /(all pot including last bb we call)
you know... for me minraise is very dangerous especially when fish does it.
Even when I was on NL2 minraise=nuts
it's a reason why I folded it, but as you can see I made a mistake because I have good odds to call, next time I will have it in memory that and I will call it. It's a reason why I do this exercise
what next
board is very drawy hits perfect in his range, moreover I bet almost psb and fish minraises me.
Ok we don't know what does it mean... I saw him minraising with nuts so I have Empirical Evidence about his play so why I shouldn't believe in my notes so far?
He can minraise with draws. with this range

Yeap... I don't understand too. Sometimes I'm confused with the math.
I need to refresh the book 'Poker Math That Matters' Owen Gaines and I will try to explain
DAY 29
Graph:
I've finished renovation one room so I've taken off one week from it. I have more time to learn and rest. Yesterday I watched 3 vidoes about UTG, MP and CO. I made a notes and analyzed every singe hand from the vidoes. I did homeworks:
Homework:
1) Create a chart with the EXACT HANDS that you will play. Write them down on a paper or print them out and hang them on your screen. Do this until its burnt into your brain
2) Record a 10min video of yourself and NEVER use an excuse to play any other hand
3) See how "easy" many situations become, because now you can focus on the spots that "matter" instead of deliberating weather to raise A2s or not UTG
I didn't use an stupid excuses during the session. I played very solid poker.
I was thinking about every decision. I stopped bluffing like a crazy. I stopped thin value bet with bad TP. I took a lesson from my exercises and as you can see results are great.
Yeap I stole blind better too so I improved it. I think that I've improved in every area of the game, from stealing the blind to isolating fishes. I stopped iso with bad holding.
It's great to have session like that when you control everything on the table.
The best moment is when I open new table and I play HU with FR player. It great fun because you own this guy.
Finally I had lucky to. Variance helps me
Ok no more to say. I will do eq analysis and rewatch Gordon videos.

as we can see we crush his range right now.
let look at our notes and try to make assumption:
limp KK
bet flop as pfr 1/2 psh T: bet 1/3 w/TPGK R: xb w/TPGK doesn't value bet
bet f as pfr w/TP 1/2 T: xb R: call psb IP
as we can see he bet w/TPGK for 1/2psb, 1/3psb even doesn't value bet on the turn, he likes pot control TP too so what does psb OTR mean?
I guess this range is very polarized bluff or nuts

based on equity and pot odds we have break even call...
I will try find out some Empirical Evidence about this player:
I found some very interesting hands like:
check down w/T7o, doesn't try to take the pot w/Th OTT after 2x opp checks
bets 3-5.25 w/back door FD SD, T: bets 2.5-11.25 w/OESD R: check doesn't try to bluff OOP w/busted FD
based on this information I think that we can easily fold on the river.
No more hands to analysis.
Rest of the time I will be watching Gordon videos.
Today Session:
It was the last session of 30days Gordon challenge. Tomorrow I will show you results of it and I will sum up everything.
About today session not much to say. I was a little nervous because there was huge fish at the table and I couldn't have hit good hand against him. It was very annoying.
DAY 30 END OF THE CHALLENGE
I remember this day very accurate. It was at Friday 23.08.2013 when I finished session and I was crying like a baby in my girlfriend arms. My mindset was crushed. Seriously it was nightmare, end of the world.
Now, what can I say?
It was the best what could have happened to me. It's funny that bad things turn in good things.
I started looking for information on Saturday 24.08 and I found Gordons series Champions Stand Up One More Time Than The Rest. I watched it during the weekend and my life changed. The name of the series is perfect depicts what happened with myself. I've stood up one more time.
If you have bad time as I had, don't wait and watch it.
Do everything what Gordon says. Do it. No excuses. No bullshits.
Don't forget about accountability Partner!!!
I did it and I've stood up. I've improved not only my game, but also my life. I'm more efficient. I wake up at 8.30 every day and start my day. I can't image waking up latter right now
Just do it, you will see that it works.
What next?
I started writing the blog only because of the challenge. I'm not a person who likes sharing with my life. I don't have facebook and any bullshit community accounts. Probably I should finish with the blog but I won't. I will still blogging because it works. I will start new 30 days challenge and determine rules with my Accountability Partner. I will do it as fast as possible.
Today I have break from poker but tomorrow I will start session at NL100.
I would like to thank Gordon for the series Champions... I know that you refused being my coach but you were so wrong. I still believe that you change you mind and find free time to teach me poker.
I would like to thank pozdroANDpocwicz for being Accountability Partner. I hope you will be my partner for longer time.
Thanks everyone how was reading this blog and were active.
See you soon.
Nice graph man!
I sent you a friend request! Please add me I want to ask you a few things in private!
GL at NL100!
Hello again after one day break.
I'm ready to next 30 hard working days.
Today I woke up and I felt a little wired when I didn't have to do it. Lets say laziness?? eeeee no way hehe.
I've just reviewed my notes from Gordon series Champions Stand Up. I will again follow his tips.
Last 30days where great and I don't want to change much but I noticed something. Sometimes I didn't know what to do. You know. I had a plan for 8.30-12 and it works perfect but time between 15-20 it should be better use, I guess. I need to work on it right now. I need to be more productive. I don't want to waste time. Moreover because I like going on gym, this is my part of my live style, I started dietary course. This is for myself. I don't need this but I want to eat healthy and correct. Course is at weekend, not every weekend but you know how is it. I have to be more productive right now and better manage my time. I need to have weekly schedule and daily schedule. On this part I'd like to focus on next 30days. I have a lot of stuff like:
1. Homeworks from Champions Stand Up
- 10 Equity Analysis
- 5 Reg Analysis
- 10 Inventing Scenarios
2. Gordon Course
3. Gordon Exercise from Champion Stand Up Part 3 (I guess) about playing 30 minute and making notes and using it.
I want to do this stuff and I have to perfectly manage my time. I have to got schedule.
Creating Successful Habits:
1. Define Your Goal/ New Habits.
Creating weekly and daily schedules.
2. Set An Exact Time, And Stick To it. No Matter What.
I will create and post weekly schedule on Sunday.
I will create and post daily schedule every day after the session.
3. Do It For 30 Days, Every Day.
Goal: be better player and beat NL100 (at least 5bb)
Previous habits:
I will start it today without an accountability partner. I have to discuss it with pozdroANDpocwicz. I don't know when I do it because it doesn't depend on me. I will do it as fast as possible. He is a little busy because he is on the trip.
Today I start playing on NL100. Finally!!!
This is how I was running between 11.01-11.03.2013:

I moved down because I wanted rebuild my confidence and I've never back to now.

What do we learn?
- villain doesn't 3bet KK preflop. He is able to flat premium hands OOP
- we still don't know if he is able to bluff??
some notes:
1. c3b w/AQo F: db/c 9-1-15 T: db w/AQ 1-50 R: db 1-54 w/AQ OOP
2. bet flop w/TP bet turn w/2P R: x/c flush possible
3. passive w/FD x/c doesn't db doesn't xr OOP T: x-x R: doesn't value bet thin 2nd
1. He donks bet/call for small about w/Ah. He did it in 3bet pot OTF, T & R.
What can we assume?
Maybe he try to bluff for small about. Small bets are bluff, bigger are value bets??? he wants to see sd as cheap as possible.
2. he is scared with flush when he holds 2P. Play x/c and bluff catch. He doesn't value bet it.
3. passive with FD check/calls, doesn't fancy play. So maybe he doesn't bluff at all. Again he doesn't thin value bet with 2ndPair.
what does it mean?
his range OTR is polarized value hands or bluffs

If this player is able to do something wired. This hand was after first one.
Because of this note:
bet flop w/TP bet turn w/2P R: x/c flush possible
I decided to fold it.
Conti bet OTR: 38 (3/8)
I'm aware of that this player is polarize right now but which player would shove on this board with a bluff or what?
I guess he knows that I can hold straight or flush and he shoves with FH or
9c, Qc9c.
We know that this player is afraid of betting w/2P when flush possible OTR. Play check/call. Pot control.
I think that we have easy fold here.

I think that his range is very easy to define.

I think that AK is easily in his flatting range. AQs maybe. What about KK, AA? because of the fact I fold to 3bet a lot I guess this player is able to flat this hand.

very dry board...
when we bet his calling range:

Equity Win Tie
MP3 34.80% 33.55% 1.25% { QsQc }
CO 65.20% 63.95% 1.25% { 99+, 66, AKs, AKo }
when we bet and he calls we are allways beat.
My game plan was check/call ones and give up OTT.
His checks back means that he doesn't have 99, 66, KK, AA. I think that we can play check back w/AK. Most often it would be small PP and he isn't interested to steal the pot at all.
Turn:
Ten OTT doesn't change much. I decided to bet and take the pot. Villain can call w/JJ, 88,77.

I bet big because I want to have clear situation
You know... it's very hard to determined his range. I have Qc so I block many combo of made flush. I can see only one flush like AcKc. Hands like: AQs KQs, JTs, 98s, 87s, he doesn't have.
I think that raising range it would be AcKc and JJ, T9s
I don't know how he plays with 88, 77, FD like AcKx, AcQx, KcQx
Let move forward...

doesn't change much
I bet again huge to have easy decision...
I think that AcKx, AcQx have easy fold here.

This range he bets in this way?

Maybe he wants to be tricky against me and he was slowplay something?
I don't know.
No more hand to analyze. I will watch course videos.

IMHO, villain range for calling steal is too wide.

Because of FtCB just 29% I don't see any reason for betting this board. I know that very dry but I think check back in this case is good option
Hero play IP, and have higger pot equity. Why dont bet for value on the flop?

How do you see his range? What would you change?

Probably because I don't know how to play it on later streets. How would you play it?
I think that we don't have to steal this pot on the flop. We can do this on the turn too. We can peak more eguity and bet. Or after 2x opponents check we can bet turn and river.
With beting this board we don't have auto profit cbet because villain doesn't fold.
What is you plan on the turn when he calls?
I know that this is free day but I would like to implement new habit as fast as possible. I have a little mess because of this but I think that I will get used to it.
Tomorrow is experimental day, I don't know how I will feel after few hours on the course. It's very hard to plan time between 15-17. Probably I will be very tired so I treat this time as a break. We will see, but I would like to do Session Review and Session and I hope I will be fresh.
