Hi guys!

Looking to start another blog to help motivate me improve my game!!
I work full time now so have less time to grind.

Here's my graphs so far:

NL10

NL20

As you can see by the 20nl graph, it took me a few shots to move up. I feel pretty confident here now. I just need to put the volume and effort into my game.

Starting from tomorrow, I'm going to aim for at least 1hr session every day. I know itss not much, but small achievable goals first:f_thumbsup: I come home for lunch from work, so will put in a 20-30 min session then to boost volume.

Hopefully you create for yourself also a interesting blog title :f_wink:
Do you planning a challenge so you can motivate yourself to get more volume on the micro stakes?

You’re hand looks fine played to me. Maybe was a 4 bet jam on the flop a little bit better than a normal 4 bet, because player 3 has only $28,70 behind after his 3 bet. Than you’re committed anyway.

Further I wish you all the best to beat NL20 and higher :gl:

Best regards,

Just plan on hitting 1Hr every day til the end of month atm. I play 2 tables speed. so will look into upping tables &/or sessions.

Being deeper, i should have 3bet him. He should be defending wider since he has better implied odds + position.

So you prefer flatting like 100bb deep w/JJ?

100bb Vs UTG yeah, unless he's obv bad player.

I hate the idea of 3bet folding. His flatting range will have good equity Vs us, plus the fact we are OOP.

Even IP Vs an UTG range i prefer a flat. we fold to 4 bet. SO better to tighten our value 3bet range and replace Jacks with a bluff were happy 3bet folding.

Was here over 1+ year ago but cashed most of it out for a holiday and laptop :f_smile:

I don't plan on doing the same again, keep building and move to fiddy!!

I cant post in hh review =(

Anyone got thoughts on this hand??
Effective stacks 170bb. Btn is 14/11 over 160 hands, so a little on the nit side of stats.

QQ vs Btn 4bet - 170 deep

Hey Gxtwo,

I don't have an issue with flatting the 4bet. It's probably the best option given the stack sizes, stacking off would probably not be optimal

I would call the flop bet but worth noting the sizing is much larger than standard for a cbet in a 4bet pot so that should generally tell us we are not necessarily committed to the hand. I think the turn check back from villain is usually a pretty big tell he has part of his Ax range. He'd usually be betting again with overpairs. So by the time Ace hits the river we should be in x/f mode here. It will be interesting if river is a blank, we probably have a call since we only lose to turn slowplays.
