Heads-Up (HU) is a game of its own.
At this point in the tournament, we need to make adjustments in our strategy to exploit our opponent as much as possible and achieve the victory.
The first thing you need to understand is that HU is a game of patience, fine-tuning, and observing the dynamics. You will apply a different strategy for each type of opponent, always aiming to extract the maximum.
Strategies
π΄ Against tight opponents:
The ideal is to play a lot of small pots that add up.
The scheme will be very similar to a grind, and you will follow this rhythm until:
A cooler situation arises;
Your opponent's stack melts and he is forced to play push.
Against the tights, avoid marginal hero calls and be a bit more aggressive.
π΄ Against aggressive opponents:
These opponents require us to find the balance between aggression and increasing the frequency of bluff catching.
As a rule, you will react more by both counter-attacking and giving more hero calls.
Be careful not to let your emotions get the best of you and spew the tournament.
