just be careful with the variants playing SH , so easy to have a few bad days but if your confidence is good then you end up playing better and go for it
playing NL100 I tend to buy-in 60% but on full table playing 4 at time because dont want to play with scared money and if I do have bad run go & play few low level sng/tourneys that wont affect my bankroll
My suggestion curnow: always buy-in 100 BB. If you´re afraid to play on scared money on NL 100, then it is better to play full stack on NL 50.
Variance is indeed one problem, even playing on 6 tables I sometimes down at 1,5 stack and then up again 1 stack. Last night managed to win 1$ in one hour session, but I guess it´s better 1$ profit than 0,01$ loss.

in poker sometimes there is not a right or wrong & know some pro's do the same as for buy-in , same as playing SSS just what you prefer
as for playing short handed tables tend to reduce the number of tables open & with omaha the variances are even greater so move down a level

Played today´s morning 6$ Limit Tournament. Thought, it was NL, when registered:D , but anyway finished 6-th +60$ after 4 hours of playing and bankroll up to 810$.
Promised today that no poker, until I finish my homework^^
Upswing^^ +220$ today after 3,5 hours of playing on 6 tables:P Bankroll reached 4-figures numbers 1009$:) 241$ more to take first shots on NL 50.
But I´ll play more 2 K hands, then I´m making 600$ deposit to Fulltilt and trying to unlock the bonus within a few weeks. Maybe then trying to take a shot on SNG/tournaments, but that´s in the future.
Decided to deposit to FullTilt on Saturday. So far made from 480$ (sadly couldn´t figure out how I could deposit 600$) to 637$ (including bonus 60$). Not a bad start. Right now I have to decide if I like to play on Fullring tables or Shorthanded tables. On Fullring tables I play at NL 30 on 8 tables. If I reach 1000$ I could try out NL 50 tables and when the rest of the bonus is released I can move to NL SH tables.
I would probably withdraw all my money from Partypoker, cause Fulltilt has much better rakeback+ I can order items or participate tournaments with bonus points. Also Fulltilt has a lot more (bad) players (including Americans) and I think that I would like to play rather there.
Sadly lost 100$ one day on SH tables, but my bankroll from Partypoker is still 910$ and on Fulltilt 637$. Hoping to reach at 2000$ mark at the end of February on Fulltilt. One interesting hand also:

such hands are happening daily for me...KK vs AA at least 2-3 times...but as you said you were lucky that he was "calling station 
Moved to Fulltilt. After playing 6 134 hands with winrate 6,15. Decided to take shots at NL 30 tables. So far so good. After 948 hands my winrate is 23,32!!! and if I hadn´t folded royal flush:D, my bankroll would be a little more than 1000$. But 996$ is also fine. My NL 30 stats are quite interesting:

Solid TAG/(LAG) stats imo:)
BB/100 hands 23,32
WTSD: 14,36. That´s very interesting, because the number should be above 20.
So my opponents would fold quite often or I make good laydowns.
Won $ at SD %- 70. That number is insane! If it would be above 55, I would be happy. That probably means that I don´t have suckouts. Wich means I´m having upswing^^.
PF AF 3,92. Quite high I suppose. I almost never call (sometimes pp when I have pp)- to me it is 3-bet or fold:)
Flop AF 9,11. Very high number. Imo I don´t make 100% contibets, but who knows^^
Turn AF 3,80. Also quite high. To me it is often all-in here:D
River AF 0,50. I´m quite often all-in here or I don´t see value re-raising. I would also quite often use check turn, call river tactic:)
Total AF 4,24. It´s high, but I´ll better play aggressive, than calling.
So this shows that you don´t have to play very much hands to move up the limits. Only problem, that i play too few hands to achieve my February goal 2000$. 250$ more to move up NL 50 tables hope to crash these tables also^^. NL30 seems so easy:D

Folding a Royal Flush is actually a very small error, because it happens so rarely. You can structurally fold every Royal Flush in your career and still be a winning player

Just read over your Blog, which is very interesting and wanted to congratulate you for your constant progress.
I also switched to SH play after a long time of playing Full-ring, and even though the swings can be a bit sicker, I find it a lot more fun and proftiable. 18,6/15 stats seem quite solid, although ofc. 948 hands is a very small sample (hehe 23,32 BB/100 is just sick).

i think it depends alex. if they look like they are thinking for a long time, and put you on two high cards, and decide to raise you anyway... surely they have aces.

The only situation would be if you have ~300+ hands on them and they have a PFR of 1%.

Or if you are playing very deepstacked e.G. both have 250BB or more - and you have solid reads on him having aces.
Otherwise folding KK pre-flop in the lower levels is a plain and simple never-ever.
Like in Harrington's book don't fold kings pre flop if the guy has aces you can dog him anyway ♦
Strangely haven´t fold kings for a while:D Ofcourse I´ve been running lucky^^. Anyway on SH tables against big stacks there isn´t going all-in anyway. Player with KK or AA would often call 3-bet (I would prefer 4-betting, because people tend to 3-bet light). Couple of times I´ve been 4-betting with AK:D, because I know that tag would defend their blinds a lot looser- no all-ins so far.
Moved up to NL 50. Today decided to take a shot. My bankroll was 1167$ and my first plan was to wait for 1250$ (25 stacks) and then take the shot, but since there wasn´t good NL 30 tables, decided to take the shot on NL 50. The begging was awful:( Players are aggressive and I didn´t play any table with vpip over 25. (at NL 30 level the average is 30-35:D). A lot of contibets were raised and then my set of 5-s met set of aces (SB vs BB- SB completed with AA:), board was A52 with two diamonds). Nothing could to do there.
But then luckbox started working again. Open raised from MP with 33. Sb called. Board QJ8, SB checked, I wasn´t stupid, checked behind^^. Turn 3. SB bet pot, I raised pot, SB all-in, I call- SB shows QJ and 110$ pot won (the biggest so far)
Then on the other table (played on 6 tables) aggressive player raised from MP, I called with 22 and BB also joined. Board Q :diamond:4 :diamond:2 :spade:. I checked, BB donkbet, MP min-raised I made 18$ (my stack was 67$), BB fold, MP showed. Thought very long, before made hero call, because I only can beat there AA and KK and loose to 44, QQ. He shows KK, turn and river doesn´t change anything and 137$ pot won again:P
Then some player decided to make play TT against my aces:) and finally I flopped a flush KQs against set. That also stayed alive. So after playing one hour, I made 163$ profit and my bankroll has reached 1337$.
Sadly didn´t played so many hands, which I´ve planned- 3 k hands on 3 days On Friday I was out in the clubs^^, Saturday had a party, where we played poker and celebrated, that my friend established a new company:) and today was my home country Estonia Independence day. Estonia is now independent for 90 years. 10 more and then we shall have a very big anniversary.
