as for the casino, I strongly suggest you get some basic cg skills, they rly pay off. Live poker is a bit different (eg even horrible players might be able to read you if you don't play attention) but from my experience cg's are supersoft. So are MTTs, but they are bigger variance and usually too fast structure in my experience.

Don't get me wrong tho, I didn't play like a LOT live, just a few times It was fun and thrilling as well, since it was NL50 back last year, huge amount for me. Still not small

Thrilling Yes, I was told the same. Some of my friends are really big poker fans. They used to play a lot last summer on something that comes closer to NL70 - NL100 in Bulgaria, but our currency is weaker than the dollar.

I heard a lot of stories about guys raise/flatting 3bet with A9s or 4bet/jamming EP raiser with JJ and bunch of other stuff like making a standard raise of 8-9x the BB. ROFL.

Anyway, I will continue with my next post. Topic will be a bit different though.

OMG, buddies! I think this is the second time I start my post like that. There is a good reason though. Ever since this month is on, my bad run was following me like a shadow.
I will illustrate what I mean below.

Anyway, I had a ticket for the 500 000 GP IPOPs #4 event. I don't even remember how I got it. It was probably a part of some Ipoker promotion. The BI was 125+10$, so pretty big event in general for me. Field was def. much, much different from what I am used to seeing in MTTs.

Let's get to point though. I was playing for 8 hours! Probably even more... Finished 35th out of 3 or 4k people. I was running good, that's probably the best reason for getting so deep. The only thing that disappoints me a little bit is that top27 finishes were included IPOP live Event Package deal in Prague besides the money reward. I had a gf few years ago that now lives in Prague, I think she's engaged or something. ROFL. Anyway.

Will post the result and I won't be going to bed tonight as I have something arranged after few hours.

Always nice to share, thank you gentlemen. There were few interesting hands. I won some very important flips in the beginning and lost 2 at the end of the tourny. First place was 90k! Second 55k... I am very happy with this results though. How did I celebrate? Too early for celebrations. If the month ends up well though, I will def. think of something special on New Year

I think those rake race moneys were payed today. At least I think my account has bit more money than it should.

It's annoying to lose couple flips on late stage of tourney. Have been there couple times. Going with chip lead into final table bubble then ---> AK < A2, JJ < 55, KQ < TT. Couple hours of play and then out of game in ~10 minutes ♦

Had quite sick ITM bubble hand today. Versus this villain I am going to probably call TT+ here. But when I saw KK in my hand I instantly thought how sick it is going to lose this...

What else can I do rather than smiling... 8 loosing days in a row and third 40+ BI swing in 1 month. Today I lost a huge percentage of my flips. I just don't agree with it... I don't accept that I am BE or even worse-losing player. I never was. I don't play my A game , I just lost motivation and that sucks! Dunno what I should do. It's a tough moment for me. Hopefully, by the end of the month I will be able to cover the loses the way I did the previous month. And I guess I am supposed to feel happy if that happens. I am just so mad!

I didn't want to make posts like that, but I don't want to remain silent for the rest of the month if things don't go my way. Anyway, I'll stop here.

don't think "cover my losses" man, you have to straighten your mind out. Take a break imo. Just a few days will do.

It's great that you are mad and firstly mad at yourself, now just channel that energy in improving or w/e, or just go 5 times this week into Gym.

Breaking news: you are probably not losing or BE player but there is possibility that you are. What does it mean anyway? If it's measured by results that we are all sometimes winning sometimes losing players, and maybe couple of us that have some br just hit an upswing early. Maybe loose/passive fishy 70/5 style of play is winning after all?
It doesn't really matter, what matters is that you are enjoying your job, and trying to make best decisions that you can.
I didn't want to make that "hey man its just variance, get some rest etc.." post because it doesn't really help anyone, it's probably your fault and you have to deal with it!

Thank you, man! You always have very nice attitude. Anyway, last 2 days I played very badly. Strange. I will just try a diff. strategy and stop everytime when I feel my mind is not working properly. I have goals to complete, there will be a break in December, New Year is coming, Christmas is coming, few other things as well, so I won't be able to play the full 31 days. I think starting from January on, I will try a different schedule including 1 day off/week. I feel I need it.

This year I worked my ass off. I mean it. Although I didn't put extremely high volume, I was spending around 9-10 hours/day on average for poker. 6-7 hours playing and the rest goes for posting hands, watching videos and so on. No day offs in between. Maybe that doesn't seem that much, I but I feel my limits.

Anyway, gotta go now I will take a little break and relax with some friends. Cya tonight on the tables : )

Solid post. There is a possibility I am BE on 6man midstakes. I know that. But it faks with my mind that I was running with ~ 10 ROI up to 15's and going straight down to -1/1 ROI feels...wrong I had such a conservative BR management that I don't want to wait more until I move up the limits. I could've played the 30s with over 100 BI in May! Anyway. That's not a big prove about my skills. I really gotta go though. Cya guys and thanks for posting!

Thank you, sir, but no. Not yet I guess. I think I will have like 4-5 day offs this month, so that should be enough : ) I think I will give myself a small break in the beginning of January.

I also enjoy playing with you or ghaleon at the tables. Sick in a way, isn't it? Anyway, I will be on for a couple of hours!

It was a good day, guys! Finally! Probably made a bit over 500. That feels good. It calms me down a little bit. Very emotional month so far. But it's an emotional sport, so that figures.

I will check some hands. Nothing really interesting I guess. Only that today there was that crazy fish limping bvb on the bubble vs akrammon for around 7-8bb eff. Both of them mid stacks. Akrammon shoves and the fish calls... with K3o! Hahah. Akra had AQ. I was shocked! I folded some any 2 card spots vs him because of that hand. He is dangerous and unpredictable! I think Akra managed to squeeze in and we played HU in that one.

As for the day-very, very busy one. The whole previous month was like this. I slept for like 4 hours. Went outside to take care of few things, got back, had lunch, then reviewed a few HHs with a friend that also plays on Ipoker, grinded, then had my supper, grinded again. I just finished. I had like 10-15 minutes breaks in between sessions and that's all.

So time to take take a longer one. I will probably download some movie. We'll see.
