Sadly, what had been my best poker day ever was spoilt by a regrettable incident where I offended a good friend by impliedly criticising his play at the end of a tournament. Doesn't matter who was right or whether he was justified in being as offended as he was. I need to learn to just stfu. :f_cry:

He sounds like a big Jessie to me. Insulting your friends is all part of the fun of being friends imo.......you arsehole.

The poker equivalent of check/calling 3 streets oop with tptk as preflop agressor: allowing your opponents to do your betting for you and your readers to do your posting for you. ♠_cool:

Thanks to chasing links from this blog I stumbled upon the term "four-flushing," as in "You dirty rotten no-good four-flushing ..." What a mercy that players can't use that tactic online :)

The Shop Around The Corner: "And what would you think of some roast goose, stuffed with baked apples, fresh boiled potatoes with butter and red cabbage on the side?"

A proper Hungarian feast! Some of you will have seen the sickly sweet remake, You've Got Mail. Well, trying to compare Jimmy Stewart with Tom Hanks is like trying to compare roast goose with KFC, imho.

Look out for Frank Morgan, who plays the Wizard of Oz in the 1939 movie (this picture, made a year later, is still in Black and White. The Technicolor revolution beckons...)
