Hi!

I think you can analyse the SB pushing range in Wizz. You just put the hero on SB and adjust the BU to limp :)

But if we assume that the BU doesnt have a limp/call range, then the SB push range result should be exactly the same as in your method since the pot is the same and the only variables that matter are BB's and UTG's ranges.

The difference of this sb range from your analyse comes from the factors that in your wizz the pot before sb push is 475, not 350 as it actually is when BU limps. You should adjust utg raise to 200, not 325 (how did you get that number anyway?). And the other factor is that in your analyse the extra 100 comes from the BU, so you should give the BU 1790 chips stack and add that 100 to utg stack.

Anyway, the point is the same, SB should have a wide pushing range.

Things are ofc different, if BU is some fish who limp/calls ATo or QTs.

Wow - nice post, Luupainaja. Not sure what's more embarassing; my inability to count (I added 225 to 100 to get 325 - for no good reason whatsoever) or the fact I can't manipulate Wizz in a rather str8forward manner.

But our point stands, it seems; as long as neither UTG or BU is trapping (or making bad limp/calls) with a high frequency, SB should be shipping pretty wide here. As you say, with a smaller pot to win, SB can't get it in with ATC, but 50%+ is still pretty juicy.

Thanks for setting us straight!

Look who's just upgraded to HEM2 about a year after everyone esle:

Let's just hope this decision doesn't make grinding SnGs a total nightmare and that the much feted HM2 bugfest is in decline!

Incidentally, you might be seeing more PLO graphs/hands here going forward, as I begin to expand my horizons. More on these tentative plans in due course...

I've only owned it for twelve hours. Ask me again in a month or two.

If your computer is old(ish) I wouldn't recommend upgrading. The only thing they've improved is the filters imo, it takes up a ridiculous amount of computing power and RAM, and therefore takes forever to load anything unless you have a powerful computer.

Go to PT4 ;)

Also could have done without 3am start yesterday with headache, hacking cough and minimal sleep only to discover a 4 hour flight delay at the airport. :(

When I got back from my ski trip, I decided to write Austrian Airlines a rude letter about the horrid delay at Innsbruck Apt. Being British, I was born with the ability to complain (we are handed proforma complaints letters along with nappies on leaving the hospital).

After about a month, they wrote back:

Dear Mr. [ ],

first of all we would like to thank you for employing the services of Austrian Airlines.

In reference to your e-mail [it was actually a rude letter; people just delete emails these days] regarding your experiences with Austrian Airlines due to your delayed flight please accept our sincere apologies for this incident and for all inconvenience this has caused you.

We understand how disruptive flight delays, cancellations and misconnections can be to our passengers' travel plans. At Austrian Airlines Group, we do our utmost to adhere to published schedules in effect on the date of travel and prevent flight irregularities from occurring. However, on occasion, flight delays and cancellations are unavoidable due to circumstances beyond control, such as weather or safety-related precautions that must be taken. In your case it was due to technical reason but it would go too far to describe a technical problem.

We regret to hear that the service at the airport was not satisfactory that day. As we are aware of the fact that a professional service is extremely important to our customers, please be assured that the Station Management has already been notified of the lack of service you have highlighted. Our Station Manager will review your complaint to ensure that our staff conduct themselves in a professional manner and are sensitive to customer perception.

On behalf of our customer relations department we will reimburse any occurred direct costs if any occurred.

According to our General Conditions of Carriage we cannot accept liability for consequential costs of flight irregularities but we will offer the compensation of €250.- according EC-Regulation 261/04. Please send your bank details with name of the bank, IBAn and BIC/SWIFT. Thank you. [No, no; thank YOU]

We kindly ask for your understanding that we cannot offer any further payment. [No worries]

In closing may we reiterate our sincere apologies for these most unfortunate incidents. We do hope that despite the disappointment you have expressed, we may have the pleasure of regaining your confidence in Austrian Airlines. [Absolutely. Nicely handled, if you ask me]

Best regards
