Hi lessthanthree. I've just downloaded HEM trial and I wonder if you have any tips on how to use it effectively as a SnG player? I have never used stats for SnGs (only for cash). I can figure out you already went through the trial-and-error of finding the most useful stats, the best hud configuration and all that. Maybe you could share some tips or maybe your config with me and help me out a little? It would be greatly appreciated.

Well when you do take a page out of mr fold wars book. Pick a topic and stick to it. Sessions are ok
but meh compared to picking a topic and analyzing spots with your topic of choice even using HEM
replay if you had to.

ok guys, im going to have a shot at producing some videos so im going to make a sample mid-stakes video for ps.com.
looking at aiming it towards players playing the 16s-38s on stars, and 24s-36s on FT. should be a gold-platinum level video i assume.
I agree with 897, tailoring each video to a specific topic will be much more informative and helpful for the mid-high tier players.
I have a few ideas of areas to talk about, but i also want some suggestions.
So if you want a video from me on a certain aspect of STTs now is the time to place your suggestions.
Definately go over the starting hands chart in the bronze section please. I can never get that down pat.
Oh and please make a video on resteals. And late stage calling ranges more so than pushing ranges
using stats and reads.

hehe took me some time though.. but I learned a lot from it and it's great what you have accomplished so far so congrats for that and wish you much more to come ;).. Now I'm ready to read the other great SnG blogs ♦ .. (too many)

With regards to the topic of the video, I'd be inclined to steer away from things like push/calling ranges, as these are things that most midstakes players are already getting from Wiz (obviously you would have more knowledge of how wide certain villain types push in certain spots, but yeah..).
I'd be inclined to do something around bubble situations and extremely high blind situations, where SnG Wiz starts making noticeable errors, as do many players (especially given that errors at this stage have a profound impact on ROI).

Well said, but he still has to say chick raise. And paper rock scissors on resteals instead of the bubble.
im staying away from anything that can be done in 10 seconds in wizard and anything that is covered in bronze videos.
these are some things i think would be interesting to talk about.
- player profiling, advanced stat interpretation and how to apply them to advanced situations.
- meta games, the reg vs reg dynamic and how to extract value where there is little.
- opening up your game, finding value in the early stages.
- the 'if he knows i know' game, and how that will affect your ranges.
- back to fundamentals, ranges and reads and why nothing else matters.
- advanced risk-aversion in 5-7 handed high blinds.
- HU, getting more value with 10-15BBs.
- table selection, what it is, and how it will affect your roi.
I have many more topics in my brain that are not discussed in many videos that ive ever seen. This is an example of some things that might get discussed if ps.com decides to take me on as a coach. Should do a sample video on a topic this week and see where we go from there.
Can you add to the list how you got over the disability of being an Ausie please. This has always left me puzzeled

im playing 60s-119s exclusively. running much better these days. 36s are rigged
