Amazing blog!
Incredibly inspiring and made me reconsider my way of thinking and my goals.
I'm at 11s turbos at WPT right now. Going well so far, but not near your volume and profits.
Anyhow, I'm considering putting much more volume and going pro this/next month.

Could you add me on skype (SN: jovanovic010)?
I would have tons of questions and I'm interested in your's and your coach's system.

Your friendly neighbour from Pirot :)

Update !

Live tournaments/poker tourism

I have to share with you this great poker adventure I had. 4 of us ( traveled from Serbia to Vienna (2 days) and Prague (3 days). We were there from 22nd to 27th of March!
Ended up playing in Vienna in Concord casino. For those of you who haven't been there I suggest you go since there is some nice action there. We played two tourneys in those two days, both with smaller buy ins (30 euro including 5 euro bounty and 40 euro rebuy). In both of them I had a deep run , in one I busted with AJs vs AQs (3 bet shove 27 players left 12 ITM) and in other I busted with flush (98s) from better flush (A4s). It was all a warm up for what was to follow in Prague!

We arrived in Prague on Saturday 23rd and played satellite for Day 1b of Czech Poker Masters! I busted 1st hand with AKs vs donk who limp called my raise UTG with Q3s where he hit from flop to turn nuts flush :)
We bought in directly for 130 euro and it was time to play for guaranteed prize pool of 40k euros!!!
I busted out before 3rd level with AQ vs QQ on AKQ flop ... I re entered and since then was playing very good in my opinion. In the whole Day 1b I had 3 to 4 hands where I could have played better. My bluffs were greatly timed and planed, I was getting cards when it mattered, everything was going my way!
Then (you know this part must come, you are waiting for it :) I got AA... UTG aggressive young guy (LAG) opened I 3 bet him 3x and he just called. There was 24k in the pot he had 90k behind and I had 120k behind. Flop came 9 :heart:6 :heart:3 :spade: And I had A :heart:A :spade:. I made a pot bet of 24k the guy was looking at me and made a move all in , I instantly called him and he made a face knowing he was beat , turned QQ with Q . Turn comes Q , blank river and I loose a pot worth 180k where I would be in top 4 players in both days. After that hand I am down to 30k with blinds 1.2 and 2.4k with ante 400. I grind my way back and finish Day 1b going into final day with 129.900 in chips!
Final day starts, I am among top 15 players with my stack, there is 89 players left from which 54 are going ITM. I get tight table and 2nd chip stack in the whole tourney Asian guy... He opens mid position I 3 bet him from Hijack everybody folds. I have AA again... :) He is asking for chip count , then he 4 bets me and I instantly 5 bet shove for pot worth 250k which would get me to chip lead... Asian guy calls and turns KK. Flop K43,turn 3, river K and I am out of the tournament... Asian guy in the end finished 3rd but thanks to the chop when 6 players were left, he took 10k euro prize...

If you think this is the end of the story, you are so wrong :) That same afternoon I bought in with others to play 6 max tourney which had guaranteed prize pool of 4k euro... Starting chip stack was 8k. We were at the table with 1 nit and 3 fishes so it was very easy and fun to play. I went from 8k to 17k easy taking 2 - 3 all ins from same fish with top pair better kicker... Then the following hand happens... Same fish opens UTG, I get AA on cutoff and I am thinking and decide to shove as he is fish and will call me down with a wide range (mental and meta game also important he was hunting to win one pot from me even tough he busted 3 players and had lots of chips). Fish called and turned 66 - Flop and turn blanks , river 6!
I couldn't believe what was happening. Was it really possible that within 24 hours in live tournament I get aces cracked not once not twice but three times vs weaker hands? After I lost that pot I didn't care anymore to be honest and wanted to finish spew chips so that I can play main event micro milions on stars (which I also ended up spewing because of bad beats with aces).

So overall, poker wise I am happy how I played but the luck part was certainly with fish/donkeys this time.

Weather was cold all the time so I definitely don't recommend anybody traveling there now , wait for May and go for it! There are certainly great things to see there and experience. In fact I feel in love with Prague (a bit) and am even considering moving there for couple of months to test the waters... If there is anybody on poker strategy who lives in Prague would love to connect with you and talk about possibilities there!

Now onto the rest of important things...

NEW ROOM

I now play on Ongame network mixing 6.50 and 14$ 5 max hypers + 5.5, 11 and 22$ 5 max turbos. I also played 4-5 33$ 5 max turbos and have positive roi there lol. So far I have played about 900 games total , raked 981$ total but lost from the game 439$
I have winning roi for 5.5 and 22 as well as 33$ turbos but everything else is negative roi. Today and yesterday had some sick setups and suck outs but this is what I choose as career and I accept them with smile on my face now :)
My initial plan was to rake 200$ a day, I will try to accomplish it in April and let you know how it goes. I think I should be able to rake 4.5k$ a month at least , hopefully I will reach 6k a month with 1st session (2-4pm).
Money goal is ofcourse 3k+ a month but I will spend a lot more time studying and working on my game as I feel I have edge to beat this Ongame field in a long run (thinking of staying here and grinding after the stake is finished).

Other important things (poker videos + fitness/weight loss)

Ok so here is the thing... While we were traveling to Vienna and Prague and during the whole trip overall , I watched about 8-9 videos. Some of them were from Lessthanthree (shout out to the master!) and others were from Gordon Geko (another shout out!) "Champions stand up one more time than the rest"!!! Both guys motivated me a lot. Lessthanthreee opened up a door of opportunity for high stakes with his FGS video (future game simulation video) as well as review of Kurkabins playing on Ipoker. Gordon Geko motivated me to change things in my life, stop finding excuses and getting down to work!
So , with all this in mind, I decided to change my routine and build some new habits.
For example, while I was living in USA before coming to Serbia I had 78 kilos, now I have 97!!! My big goal is to loose 17 kilos before end of my coaching/staking program (14th of July). In order to accomplish that goal I will drive fitness bicycle every morning and change my meals.
The way that I will accomplish this is by moving things around in my schedule and doing bicycle 1st thing in the morning when I get up (instead of session with students). I will aim in the beginning to drive it 15 mins total with sets of 2-3 minutes (already did this today and yesterday since we came from the trip and its giving me more energy already) and eventually build it up to the point where I will cycle every morning between 30-45 minutes without brake. I will just mention that I am big fan of sports, used to do Karate, Basketball and Football (soccer) but somewhere along the line I stopped doing that when I came to Serbia from USA. So now I will aim with fitness bike to correct that and perhaps gather friends in future once a week to play indoor football (soccer) 5 vs 5...
When it comes to meals , I will try different diets or simply cut out on crap like coca cola, sweats , eating very late, cut down on carbs etc. If you guys have some advice for healthy meals please share with me on skype or here in my blog.

Final note... I was thinking of opening another blog with tittle like Champions stand up one more time than the rest but I decided not to do it but instead here just note to Gordon Geko that I am following his series applying his thinking process and mental game (as well as Schnitzelfishes).

Quite a long read, hope you made it - congratulations :) Expect more updates after some decent sample on ongame with graphs !!!

P.S. Here is a picture of final day and table where I busted with AA sitting in a shirt with sun glasses next to the Asian guy :)

I gained even more respect for your work when I saw how you did all those FGS calculations on your own. Do you have a "cheat sheet" of a sort with all the formulas?
I now use Holdem resources Calculator so it does all that automatically. Still, I would like to be able like you to do those calculations on spot manually regarding player calling/shoving ranges and their future actions.
Let me know ! Thanks :)

Hello Demonic,
First I want to say that I have heard great things about you and am very happy to see you here :)
Yes we did have lots of fun and if you ask me, I would travel all year long (or half on half off) all around the world playing and checking out different places. Prague itself has massive poker scene and there are tournaments in Card Casino all the time as well as some others. Cash games are soft around the city so that also makes it work.
When it comes to SN, I see that everybody is hiding theirs so I will just go ahead and share it here. It is BigPatka
I hope I don't run into you too often at my tables but then again I like to improve playing tougher opponents always.
I had 2 sweat sessions with Gavron (also PS member and Ongame player) perhaps we can all arrange some session in the near future?
Anyways, accepted your friend request and if you are using skype add me at : pedjasimovic
See you around and thanks for stopping by :)

Very nice indeed my Slovenian friend :) I hope we will visit your local casino and hang around. I suggested our next travel destination some neighboring countries : Greece,Macedonia, Bulgaria, Romania, Slovenia and Croatia?
I hope there will be some interesting tournaments after June since now I will grind like crazy on Ongame and save up for new poker travel and adventures :)

P.S. Milan did wear a hood but this guy is like very different from him, I will make fun of him now based on this thanks for that

Quick update

Since we came back from our poker trip, I have been very sick since. Coughing headaches drinking tea and vitamins blowing noes etc. Regardless of all the difficulties I am playing every day 6 hours minimum + cycling when I wake up. Previous 3 days I cycled 3 x 5 minutes sets. Today I cycled without brake 20 minutes! I will aim to do the same for next day or two then increase to 25 minutes. This will keep going until I reach 45 minutes which is very solid cardio continious workout.
On the game note I seem to be having trouble with super turbos more than turbos so I will look into that more. Then again I might be just results oriented so it might be too soon to tell.
New goal for future is to learn HU SNG TURBO. I have trouble raking 200$ a day with 6 hours grind so I want to add that element to my game in order to rake more and add depth to my game.
Off to my 1st session will play until 12 or 1am with some brakes in between.

I wouldn't recommend playing the HT ST's at Ongame, the rake is insane for HU ST's and the blindstructure is the same as normal ST's.

Can you go more in detail? Where do you suggest playing then ? Any useful materials for HU study ?
Downloaded ebook from HUSNG from Mersenneary will read all by the end of the week.

Glad you like it man. I have coach who is also staking me so I am not worried about roll. I deposited 1500$ on ongame for starters :)

My suggestion - don't mix HU sngs with regular sngs.

Much more decisions need to be made in those, and they are really hard to multitable. Most HU regs only play up to 4 tables, and rare people play 6.

And if you want to play husngs, especially hyper/super turbos, stars and fulltilt are the only real choices, because of the rake.

I would be adding 1 or 2 tables tops to fill in 12 tables that I play on Ongame.
Any useful material and/or videos you would recommend me for HU SNGS?

Well still, I'd rather mix STTs on different sites than add husngs to them.

google husng, first hit. Also, 2+2 husng section for some nice articles/topics.

I think, like bjela said, that u hugely underestimate the amount of attention you need to play HU sngs, especially if you don't have experience with them.

Being just little bit experienced with HU sng's now, I can't even 2-table them, so you adding two tables on top of your other ten tables, is insane and imo would be burning money.

And even 12 tabling 5max tables alone at Ongame is quite insane.

Even if you burn some money when you are heads up which is a mistaken phrase because most stts are going with less than 15bbs heads up, you will make up more from the additional tables you add
