It's in our hands, I can't ask for much more. I think we'll score at Nou Camp, it's just about how many they'll stick past us
Nice one. I remember when I was a student, the chess club sometimes used to have a beer tournament, with the usual 1 point for a win and 0.5 point for a draw, but after each round you had to drink a pint per point. This was quite a leveller. However, I can tell you that I play a mean game of 5 minute chess when pissed. Not really something to be proud of, but......
Hey there, math professor
Do u beleive in a rigged "coinflip"? (In other words, do u think that I can beat you in coin-flipping in a long run?) No weightened coin or smth liek that wont be used, normal coin
U would have to pick sequence of 3 coin flips (Heads Heads Heads, Tails Tails Heads, etc.) Coin is flipped repeteadly and the one whos sequence is first wins the round and then we can start again
What do u say?
What are the odds of coin-flippin? 50:50 right? so u should BE in a longrun, wanna give it a shot?

If you pick your sequence first, I'd be more than happy to play. You might want to have a look at my posts in this Maths Question thread before you decide you want to beat me at a game I understand though.
I posted this by mistake, so just to fill it with something I'll tell you I'm currently watching 'The Thin Red Line Episode 1' and waiting for TT to appear online for coaching. We wrote some more of our book today, so there is progress!
Hey JB, have you ever read a book called "The Amateurs Mind", by Jeremy Silman? Strikes me that it is the kind of structure that might suit your endeavour.

Yes, I have that! I hadn't made the connection, as I haven't looked at it for a while. I'll dig it out. Mrsjb made me put most of my chess books in the loft to stop me looking like a big saddo, but I think that one survived. I will report back!
