tbh I do remember trying the panties thing in my youth for reasons that I forget. It was a bit like watching a family of mice trying to escape from a sports sock, so I didn't do it again.

Woo! Hoo! Finally an upswing! This was immediately following a long chat on Skype with the (a?) BSS study group, which mainly involved Sin sending an outrageous text to 600 (!) contacts and reading out the replies. This is all obviously +EV.
And we had a discussion about the best hand we'd fold on the flop, which inspired the following.

Madness? Well, if you read my earlier post, I reckon these stupid tiny 3bets are always KK+, which means that QQ is a call for set value only, which means that when I don't make a set, especially when he pots it, I fold. Easy game.

But the hand is not that sick. You had a plan preflop and went on with it. It just shows you have discipline imo.

Only managed just under 30K hands this month. I'm starting to realize that I need to put in more volume if this project is going to work. Unfortunately, next month I have a conference in Birmingham, a European project meeting in Prague and a family holiday in Scotland, so it's going to be tricky. I may not even be able to maintain my silver iron man status, which would be tragic. The good news is that mrsjb is probably going to be taking the kids camping some time in June, and I have never been camping, and never want to go camping, so I will probably stay at home, pretend to be a teenager again and play poker all day.

Eeek! First downswing was me being freaked out by all that money and spewing. Middle bit was me feeling comfortable. Second downswing was definitely a real downswing this time, with a few coolers in there. I feel I'll be OK with my next shot at it if I can catch a break.
NL10
------
I'm reasonably happy with my game on NL10, with 4.5bb/100 hands if I include rakeback. I can do better. It was nice to end the month with a statistically freakish upswing though.
BR now about $600. +8BI on my next session of NL25 would be nice. 
EDIT: And just for reference, here's all my rush NL10 hands.
Last night we tried to drive down to Bournemouth to spend the weekend with my parents. As we were driving over a very busy, bendy overpass in Northampton, the engine cut out, and we ground to a halt in the inside lane. All I could see in the mirror was enormous lorries zooming up and swerving into the outside lane at the last minute. The car started again, and we drove off. Twenty minutes later it did it again. We managed to get to Macdonalds and call the AA man. He couldn't find anything wrong, so we drove off with him following for 10 miles, and eventually he left us to it. Five minutes later, it did it again. The AA thought I said 'near the M4', when I actually said 'near the M40'. They eventually got someone to us two hours later who also couldn't find anything wrong (Ever tried keeping a four year old girl and a nine year old boy under control next to a busy road for that long? Neither fun nor easy.). So we drove to another service station and waited an hour for the tow truck. He loaded us up, we got going, drove for half an hour, and the breakdown/recovery vehicle lived up to its name by breaking down and needing to be recovered. It was 12.15am. Another tow truck arrived at 1.15am, but the first had no compressed air, so he couldn't lower his ramp, so they had to line up the two trucks (not easy when the brakes of the first are locked) and pull our car off the back of one straight on to the other with a winch. We returned home by his sat nav's most utterly fucked up, stupid route (I know this because I kept waking up and seeing ludicrous places). I got to bed at 3.30 am. The kids woke us up at 8.30 am. And the septic tank is blocked.
Just lost a stack to a two outer? I tell you what, I'll take the bad beat, you go get my car fixed.

Man I hate those freakin' min-3-bets. It's like: What do you do? Do you fold? You have great pot odds, but poor implied odds. I always used to call those, but now I fold them more often. I really should find a way to deal with them. I play SNG's, so it rarely happens to me, but it happened all the freakin' time at micro HU.
Also, I am very sorry for your car problems, but gratz on your good month: Hopefully you're crushing NL25 this month!

I have to disagree there, as illustrated by the hand I posted. If a min-3bet is always KK+, they're usually stacking off when you make a big hand.
Villain was playing 25/25 and 3betting 40%, and 50% from the big blind. Wasn't sure what to make of the min 5bet, but I have good odds to call. I'm never folding top pair against this bloke, although I was rather worried he was going to show me AA!

Was just playing Lego Star Wars with number two son (I always play as the Emperor obviously, because he has lightening in his hands), when this came on the radio (for some reason the lyrics always make me think of ihufa now).
Of course, I started singing along, and was told to shut up by everyone. I carried on singing, and got hit and threatened. So I said I'd stop singing, and started singing the guitar solo instead. They turned off the radio. So unfair.
What a N00b. I already finished LSW1 and LSW2 with my little brother and I'm playing Lego Indiana Jones at the moment.

I'm just hopeless at all video games. Was playing these ones with my daughter this afternoon, and I couldn't even work out what's meant to be going on. I mean, there aren't even any instructions! She seemed to get it, but I just felt like I needed a good strong dose of LSD to help it all make sense.
