Very interesting hand, how would you have played it?

Flopped a set in 4-way pot and got raised from an aggresive TAG.
SH SH10 88 folding set on the flop...

That hand-very tricky spot I dont think it is a clear stackoff

if he was a bit fishy and you think he could have like JT,or AT and go with it I would get it in, but if you think he is good it is very close imo and the fold is not that bad.

Also if there was a FD on the board I am getting it in every time.

I notice there are still fishes around, so its somewhat like how it was. In overall I think we lost some US fishes and regulars but there are still fishes around and even the regulars often don't adjust their play unless they are very aggresive, make sure you have position on them and call their bluffs.

I think a raise on the flop would been better. If he shoves we still got the odds. I was too concered about losing positional advantage.

Mainly grinding 15 tabling NL10 (to clear bonus) to get a bigger bankroll so I feel comfortable soon at NL25 to play my aggresive game.

Still working on my non-sd winnings... I make stupid bets/mistakes sometimes which sucks! Its still swingy but I'm trying to keep it below 100bb/1000hands.

Non-SD winnings just slightly below 0, I was about to call a fishy bluff but time ran out, so my non-SD winnings had to be negative

Also watched and starting to do detailed analyses about my play. I keep my findings on a notepad as well, I must say its really usefull. Thank god I'm platinum so I watched mbml's video how do to good analyses.

BTN is fish limped 5 out of his 7 hands. Why bet so small on turn and overbet the river while river card is a shitty one. He's not betting for value either. Was really tempting to call it down but time ran out.

Since I keep track of my data analysis I'll be posting some common mistakes I'm doing as long as some hands. Today's session ended about break even, still with some shitty river calls/folds. Should decide more actions on the turn and not river.

Notes for today:
• Don’t bet often on paired flops vs aggressive players esp. OOP
• In 3bet pots, play draws passively except monster draws
• Re-think in river bets when we have TpMk/TpLk what range we beat, we’re often behind vs a river bet/raise! Even if the bet is like 10-20bb.

Finally decided to play 8 tabling NL25. Played about 700 hands it went pretty well. I'm happy that I stepped down a limit and at the end of the week I should be playing NL25 again. Most important thing is position vs aggresive players.

Notes for today:
• Less 3bet CBet on J or Q-high boards, we represent near nothing and it hits villain's range often
• Play less aggressive esp. OOP with mid pairs

I guess its pretty normal, I think the loss on the SB is abit too high.

@ 88 hand i would play similar to you i think, maybe I will peel to hit my fh and try stack off vs bb's straights, i dont think we are going to be in great shape vs his range, i think you cant go too far wrong here tho, calling down, stacking off, folding, calling to spike fh/fold turn. I think its all very close. I would play it more on the passive side like you though!

indeed raise the flop here. So many hands that pay you off. Good that you stopped the session tho, since you probably wouldn't be playing your A game anymore.

To anyone who is interested whats up. Played about 12k hands this month and result is break even. So many suckouts, be it preflop ai or flop/turn ai's, even slowplaying on a very dryboard the villain flops his quads/sets on the river. For the past 2-3 days, we're running about 6-7 stacks below EV.

Good news is that my coach is telling me my postflop really have improved alot. Only some marginal spots I tend to chicken away too much. Also I shouldn't slowplay too often, when a villain has a good hand they won't fold it easily. I'll post some interesting hands as soon I get feedback from my coach.

VERY VERY BAD HAND for bluff catch as there are many overpairs out there. Just fold it to a raise.

Been awhile since last post. Kinda lost some poker motivation for the past week. Was running bad obviously and trying to improve once again. I need a better mindset for playing in the weekend, the variance is way higher than normal due more fishes. But I'm always on the one getting sucked out.
