I obv only use 1 setup _biggrin: NL2 sounds fun _cool:

I've played a lot of poker and worked many hours in my life .... but it's so much better on a 3 * 23" screen setup than on my old 2 * 27" one. I can highly recommend it! _thumbsup:

Why do you prefer 3*23 over 2*27 (resp. 2*30)?

I cant rly imagine what to do on a thrid screen. Using one big screen for all tables and a 2nd one for other stuff.
How do you split your pokeraction to 3 medium size screens?

I think for Poker only and 6-12 tabling SH games, two 24" are probably best (when travelling a lot its even possible to set it up with a Laptop that has VGA and HDMI output). However, for working purposes and playing 1-6 Tables max, three 23" are clearly best, I just didn't expect it to such an enhancement in workability. Hard to explain, but my productivity clearly improved.

Spot on soulread sir! Almost no travelling, only working from Vienna and very short business trips here and there. In terms of taxation law I almost stopped to exist as a person and looks like Im living on the street hahahah my companies owning my soul! I have pretty much all my moniez invested and just a few euros left on my personal bank account for daily humble living expenses. :]

Poker is going well though, as long as I don't play MTTs I should be fine! Rule for 2013 is not playing MTTs myself, only staking a few Pro friends.

I could open a thread somewhere, but I thought it would be easier to post here in my old blog :]

Do we have anybody in our community who:
- has proficient IT/coding skills
- doesn't currently study and has no "obligations" at home
- would be ready to move to Vienna
- plays poker "professionally" (makes a living, doesn't have to play high)
- speaks English fluently

€: I know, "IT" is as broad as it can get, more details on Skype :)
€€: The business/IT side of things is not poker related at all. More details why we still want Poker Pros on Skype :)
€€€: "proficient" for us means
- Having some coding experience, developed software in the past
- Self-driven learner, knowledge/past usage of a linux distro is a plus
- Overall knowledge of computer architecture would be nice, experience with multiple languages
- Preferred would be C/C++, Java, some web dev with HTML5/JS/CSS, PHP, although Python/Perl are good as well.
- Any knowledge of x86 asm is a huge plus, of course. We don't use it, but imo it shows drive
Proficient means knowing how to get things done. It's a step down from expert, etc

Sounds like a baller plan.

I'm half of that person, you are looking for I don't fit because I've just started studying, a lot of things to learn more and I think I wouldn't be ready to move to Viena :/

Several days ago passed computer architecture exam, which is soo mindfucking, but still managed to learn and passed it better than I excepted. I don't think I'll ever want to use asm anymore, so ancient style :f_mad:

Anyway, gl in finding for suitable person :f_cool:

You should really get free copy after revealing that link and advertising the book.

To be honest...I dont care about a free copy of the book....I would just like to see some fair play from ps....its a shame guys like pleno,Thazar and ingrid don't have more say in the matter as I honestly think that this book will give PS loads of promotion and it has mutual benefit for all of us :) I'm shocked ps don't want to associate themselves with a book that real contributors to ps have written. ?(
