Actually I just grabbed a (2kg) packet of chips at the supermarket, assuming they were the kind you do in the oven. Of course, they weren't and of course, I don't have a deep fryer, and have never fried anything myself. So we decided it was a good idea to look up the interwebz to find out how to do it.
And, to our great surprise, we didn't make the whole kitchen explode* and they were actually really good

- i made advanced bluffs - he called mid pair on 3suited und 3sonnected boards!!!!!

- i hit the nutz (not very often) - he folded always (i was balanced in betsizing, so i doubt he soulread me)

- i got in AAxx twice pre vs his any4 (not even with a suit!!) and he won both times.

well, sick game. nothing new, but when u even lose vs such a big fish, it hurts a bit.

thnx to gervinho, i'm currently reading all gladwell books.

esp "blink. the power of thinking without thinking" is great imo.
it deals with the issue of letting your subconsciousness dictate actions more than your consciousness. rly interesting and im totally diving into that topic atm

also, last chapter was about "why less is more". actions based on much information doesnt have to be more accurate than actions based on few informations. hence, trusting your instincts and first "feelings" can and will lead to better results.

also grindcore talked in his last video a lot about trusting your instincts/reads to make max ev decisions. i have always been in that boat, but now i think of it even more. feelings/instincts develop through a lot of experience. i have a lot of experience, so i will trust my feelings a bit more next weeks and focus less on stats (i dont too much anyway)

let's see how that goes haha. i see some J high calldowns soon haha.

so, if u think about reading gladwell books: i can recommend all of them.
