This happens when you slowplay:) I was really shocked when he showed that hand. I was thinking about checking back that river coz I didn't believe he can call with 1pair and didn't expect anything else there besides flush. Knowing this, it's a clear bet ofc. Makes no sense for me to c/c turn with 2FDs and many other draws on board.

Still running hot

Played around 5k hands last 2 days, won almost 7 buyins. Actually it was in last 2.5k only, first were b/e. Hope this run continues for a while ♠_cool: I've played 40k hands for now and made 7.5k bucks, but it's many many buyins above EV. Here I got really lucky, as usual, hit my runner runner fh. I can't understand what that guy was doing. He maybe thought I can call with Qx, but I'd fold always there, there's no point in valuebetting that hand vs me. Turning it into a bluff makes no sense ether. it's kinda an ugly spot, he doesn't want to fold it, but c/c sucks coz he calls for a split at best. I think c/f is the best play for him, but I'm not 100% sure.

Can you explain the runner runner hand in detail?
I see your a bit deep, is villain re-stealing a lot? Or you have him completly figured out and know his postflop tendencies?
Im barely braking even when I call 3bets IP with these kind of hands, so I rather 4bet bluff more then widen my calling range. Any advices, how to decide when calling is better and when to apply pressure?

Yes, I called because we're deep. J7s is loose, but I call super wide when get 1:20 implieds IP. Flop call is super std call, we have a pair + bdfd. We don't call because we have a pair, but with intention to turn this hand into a bluff later on if he checks + we have many outs we can call again - everything that give us 2pair, fd, gutshot is enough to call again and bluff the river if he checks and we miss. I'm almost never raising that turn, only KTs makes sense to raise, because he folds probably all his 1pair hands and continues only with nuts.
You don't have to show profit calling 3bets, you should bet better than -300bb/100 if you open 3x - you should lose less than by folding to justify calling. I used specific balanced ranges for calling and 4betting, now starting to play a little bit more exploitable, because I can get away with it in zoom. I recommend 4bet something like 5% from bu - 3 for value (AK,JJ+) and 2 as bluff (something like A9o,K9o). I like to defend vs 3bets IP a lot. It depends on how wide your opening range is to know which hands to call. You can calculate mathematically how much you should call, but that's only if you care about balance. I suggest calling at least with pocket pairs down to 55 and all suited scs, AJo+,KQo and all suited broadways.
I guess you're not used to play 3bet pots a lot if asking these questions. Remember you have to defend more on flops than in single raised pots because of smaller cbet (it's usually 50-60% of pot). That means you have to float and call down with weak hands more often.

Hangovers

Yesterday played 2k hands after that went partying, got totally wasted. It was hard to play today, hangovers suck, however squeezed 2.5k hands. Now going for some beer, hope it will help overcome FU*^$#G hangover. At least nice run makes me feel better.

I wanted to float flop here, I have many bd draws and call or jam turn if I improve, depending on turn card. When he checked I was pretty sure he has something like Ahi or worse there. The river sucks hard, he has Ax many times here, but I still decided to bluff him off it and luckily it worked I think he had A because he thought for a while, only then folded.

Halfway to the end

I've played 51.5k hands so far. I've been moving up very rapidly, as you know, now I have something like 7k hand b/e. This was unlucky day, lost ~6BIs. Still 11-13BI's above EV. Actually I had 10k profit somewhere around 48k hands, what was the goal after all 100k hands. OFC I was luckboxing a lot and running hot, now I got many sick coolers, like I coolered everyone before

Just feels like he's never bluffing there. Most part of his flop c/r range made at least a pair and he's not bluffing with pair most likely. Doubt he's c/raising low fds, most of his range is nuts and some gutshots, good FDs and some good BDFDs. Also my kicker sucks in case he rivered A and valuebetting.

I found 1 more hand where I didn't expect to stack him, but he outleveled himself. Villain was very good player, played 2/4 with him before. He probably plays even higher, that's why this was unusual spot for me, something like this happens super rare @nl200, but std for him higher most likely. For that reason I checked river, was pretty sure he'll turn some weak hands into a bluff, but never expected to see a jam

I had other things to do, that's why haven't posted for a while. Also played live a couple days ago. I was drinking with my friends and they decided to play slots I don't find it interesting, so decided to sit down at cash game table at local casino. It was like $4/4 game (playing in local currency). I managed to make $2k for a night, nice heater Started playing a little bit drunk, barely remember first hours, but it doesn't matter that much because live games are super soft. Played like 10hours because couldn't stack 1 fish for many hours ...

On the river I decided to call, I think my Qhi is good most of the time, because both players were aggressive. SB would lead the turn if he had something and it's hard for BU to overcall with Ax as well. Also don't think he's value betting Ahi for that sizing. Same applies for BU, really can't believe he slowplayed something. I expected him to bet any Kx on the flop. This hand really confused me, I was thinking about calling that raise, probably should. Maybe you have some opinions about this as well, I don't have huge experience in live games, playing like once a month.

It's so FU^$*NG sick. Last 10k hands running soooo bad ... Can't remember worse run at all. It's more than 20BI downswing in 10k hands. As I remember, I had 20bi ds 1 or 2 times in my life, but never in so short period. Now graph looks terrible and I won't be able to make 10k without a miracle ... At least I hope they will pay me back in SCOOP

Usually I don't bluff with 0 equity, but that turn was the nuts for bluffing. Basically he can't have a flush there, he's rarely raising fd on flop IMO and he always jams flop with it. That's why I decided to bluff here, he probably folded something pretty strong.

After you running hot, you will run bad .
