same vill again

he was the floaty type , so on the turn i wanted to make everything but Ax and Tx fold , to max FE and implieds .
good plan? this because i dont plan to barrel the river if i miss , and i dont want to lose showdown vs 55 or QJ or smth
Once i hit the river ,bet-fold this amount ok i guess?

pre its really bottom of my calling range , but he seemed a little tilted from the fact he had lost some chips so i decided to call
then on the river i have a difficult spot , i can't see him betting anything worse then my hand infact , so maybe i could fold?

s1: I'd betfold as welll, but make it bigger. this is just begging to get blown off your hand(around the 35 area)
s2:std
s3:std, as I doubt he's folding anything to a checkraise as your range is far too narrow/weak, even tho he doesnt have more than 1 pair here ever. Still bringing up the c/r option, as I'm not sure you thought of this as a possibility
s4:std
s5: I think I'd go bigger here as well on the river, considering your turnsizing should already limit the amount of flushdraws in villains range. if you don't, you pretty much assume that your opponent is able to fold A7 on the river if you're betting river....
s6: really the bottom of your range preflop for calling the 3bet? wtf thats super tight

Flop: ($10) 8 9 Q (2 players)

as boring as this hand might seem, to me it's somewhat interesting though, seeing as your redline goes in a different direction as mine.

therefore:
1) what would you do with AKcc/AJcc/ATcc?
2) what's the minimum Ax hand you'd barrel at least once with, assuming you're not 3betting random/weak suited or offsuit aces (true?)
3) do you have a checkcall range at all on this board?

Sorry for the late response

1. i would still ch/f vs an unknown. On the T you prob will make a +ev barrel if the FD comes, but on the F it will be minus ev and ofc you still will need to get a FD on the T. Most people on HU just call way to much in position and barreling 3x without reads if you miss isnt that pretty either, lots of people slowplay in those spots as well.

2,. on this board? just the ones that hitted
3. no, would bet all my good draws and pairs here, ch/c with 1 of those isnt that good imo, you make it very hard on yourself

s1.
3bet to 7bb/8bb depending on reads
if you did so you could shove this R, as played i would bet F 8 to get less floats, bet T more and R ai, as played F bet T 18 and R about 40 and you can still fold vs this passive dude, as played T bet fold R like 30 or yeah somt like this :)
BTW if u do bet this smalish do bet/fold and dont level yourself :) hes way to passive to even be induced by this, he wont bluf SDv for sure. But im sure he has like Qx 90% of the time so just make it 30.

s2.
oR 3bb? hes way stationish oop or is it just vs 2bb oR every hand?
cbet F 6-7$, as played T bigger too
as played ye can shove R, he will most likely only call J8 JT maybe some J7s and maybe some stupid Ah9x calls
But that are at least 18 combo's while the J9 99 78 are 17 combos, so its close but you can do it and prob his 78 combos will be less since hell only call the ones with hearts in it twice i guess.
But as i said its really close, a check isnt that bad either if you think he's pretty tight on R and might fold crappy J's like J7/J8

s3.
Yeah stnd untill R, there im wondering if he has Jx cus he reps it that well, but KK (and like KQ) as well and maybe youre reads also tell you he might play a weak Ax this way.. But against some villian who do not underrep hands and play very face up you can call this R imo. Oh see his cbet stats now, yeah guess this guy is not to bad to call on the R only not if you saw him vbet TP(WK/MK) like this as well, if he bets that bigger i would call.

s4.
youll have to be right 30% of the time on winning, and 60% for splitting. I do expect his T bet to be bigger with a flush though, but he also might want to have calls from 2p or he's just allways sizing small seen last hand before as well. You do super inducively bet the R, this looks like 2pair A LOT. So he might wanna go for it to bluff you of or he might vbet a J, but it would be stupid cuz hell scare of anything worse then a J. Since he does have AF 2,2, he has a ch/r F % and you induce and rep so weak, i would call in the past all day long. But nowadays i would prob say fold, to be right 60% of the time to split is quite a lot and if you say he didnt blufraise before (on inducing bets too i presume) he'll have the Jx or better like most of the time and youll just lose money. But if he does raise small donkbets dont donk, just ch/c ;) So i presume he didnt do that at all so yeah, long story short, well played :P

s5.
does he float QJ OOP? i would be suprised if he did so cus not many do, or you must cbet like crazy and ch T alot and F on R. For you thats exploitable too by just ch T with sdV.
but yeah if he is stupid enough to do so just bet, but if he onlu ch/c sdV and FD, and also slowplays just ch the T. He isnt folding much on this T seeing his stats and knowing his kind, he probably wont fold a PP on the T, maybe more then normal cuz of youre sizing but prob not quite often enough to make it profitable, and if he also slowplays its even worse imo. R play bet fold is fine imo. He can also herocall Tx on this sizing some times.

s6.
think u posted the wrong hand or its just youre most fishiest handpost ever _biggrin:

wp i guess , but eventough his 1.2 AF you are not folding the last 7$ if he ships the turn right?

14.
fail

15.
isn't it an idea to shove the river? looks alot bluffier , and if he calls 66% of the times he would call the 35$ its already same ev. So even if you fold out 30% of his calling range vs the 35$ b making it 50$ , the ev is higher . If he's really a station , id be inclinded to shove because he ever feels like blufcatching maybe his calling range will be even wider vs the shove than vs the normal bet
you can't fold vs a shove , you never know he's like shoving KT/QT/JT , or even lower T in somekind of 'well just lets get it in ' tilt

16.
mmmmhhhhhh , since i don't think he would ever bluf the river, i think i ch-f it
You dont beat: JJ/TT/77/22/AQ/KQ/QJ/QT/Q9/FD . You beat 88/66/55/44/33/A2/'air'. So you are beat by alot more combos then you have beat (and yes , all thos combos perfectly match his line) . Then the combos you beat might fold T/R , + none of those combos will bet , exect the 'air' part , but what kind of air will call 2 streets , only to blufraise the river? I only see an AK by one of the most spewiest of fishies ....
So i think the riverbet is bad , as in , really bad:)

17.
assuming you have 8 outs to the turn , and assuming stacks go in every time you spike the turn :
16% chance to spike the turn , assuming all outs are clear , and he has AA/KK/QQ/TT (see those hands in range aswell)
you pay 35 to see turn , ai pot is 480
Ev vs his range when you get ai:
about 84%
so , EV=0.84*-35+0.16*0.82*480=-30+62= 32$
So yes its prob a call , but if he is ever folding his hand when you hit (either folding AA/KK , or somehow having a weaker hand) , it immidiatly gets -Ev , and with this play you are obvious inducing massive variance aswell , so dunno if it's a call , i don't think so tbh

18.
replay hand in 'tells':
you :cbet flop
he: call cbet
you : hey , i have a draw or 4x
he: call vs the draw/4x
you: hey , i have spiked my draw
he: oh hey , saw you spikes your draw , i have a fullhouse and i slowplayed it , just so you could hit your draw and feel commited , lets raise big coz you commited yourself
you : omg im so on tilt , now i must call

need i say more?

13.
y why not, he doesnt 3b ship and J7o is an oR in my book. And why make 2 and rake more if you can make 3 and broke him faster? I dont use 2bb oR much, only if the other guy exploits my 3bb oR...

14.
mehh

15.
i like it, the FD misses and he wont fold Tx and 6x will rarely call anyway :) Good thought, good 1 to remember :) Agreed on the 'cant fold' part as well.

16. you do list some combos TT/JJ/AQ which he would def 4bet, but ok, i agree with him not betting much that i beat and the vbet might be vs a range which >50% beats me so ch/f would be best :) if the flush didnt hit it would be much harder what to do, think ch/c isnt that bad then anymore.. thoughts? (or bet/fold like this or mayb bit bigger, but problem is he wont call much worse and if i size to small hell might blufraise)

18.
true story, was that awefull day which i couldnt win from any BAD player... :) was getting tilted resulting in me not capable of folding flushes :) Obv he had a higher FD :)

4bet bigger or shove in hand 2. He folds 0% to 4bets and based on his stats we are not gonna be folding much postflop. Therefore it's better to bloat the pot pre. As played call call is fine.

I like the other hands based on your reads .

maybe 80 will work better yeh , since i don't expect him to be folding more to smaller bets or smth :)
this bet is just way too weird , even a fish gets the point your not folding ever , then i like a shove more then this bet tbh :)

k2:

guesso yeh , board isn't too nice , since he's imo less likely to broke with a TP then on a T87 board for example but still ,i don't see us ever folding , esp if hes checkrising 1 in 4 times :)

your betting should be bigger vs huge stations postflop. Esp this deep.

pot pot pot ez game. As played if he is stationy I doubt he is raising river w KK or Qx but you are getting really good odds to call.. still very nasty spot... i guess it's a crying call

yeah agreed, betted bit smaller cuz 1 time before i betted like 34 in this spot and he folded, thought maybe he doesnt call overcards vs too large bets so i kept it 3/4.. How u think about that? And yeah R is veryyy ugly a fold would prob be fine too.
