I haven't been able to play much lately, but I managed to grind back 100$ in 15k hands I think, but I'm having big problems with PT4 and my laptop is overheating since the last windows update so it is really frustrating to reboot every 30 minutes, I still can't figure why it keeps overheating when I start PT4, it was working fine for 2 months.
so basically my downswing is officially over, and I'm trying to rebuild a proprer bankroll for NL30 to take my money back playing only NL10 at the moment, with few shots at NL20 when I see huge fish.. but it is really going slow withtout hud or stats :f_mad: I will post a graph as soon as I fix PT4.

haven't updated my all time graph for some time now so here we go:

bankroll: 543,44$

bankroll only 500 because of cashouts and some plo spewing..

I will update soon with more details about my downswing and the long stretch of breakeven that followed, I don't have time to write, I only have time to grind!!

decided to take a shot a NL30 today, and I did pretty good I think :)

my instincts were on top shape today :f_biggrin: here's an interesting hand..

on the river the only thing that made sense is a flush, I called the turn saying that I will fold if a big card falls or a :diamond: , when he bet, I said 'ok he got it', but then I thought that it would never make sense to bet the pot with the flush, and he insta bet, like he didn't have to think, so he would never have a flush here. he could've had 66 or 99 or even T9, that would make sense in the flop, but not the turn and river I think, he bet too big for a FH, nobody bets a FH like that on BvB unless he thinks I'm a total calling station.
so anyway I decided to call the river and I was right _love: _love:

and vilain is rather unknown 29/15 over 38 hands and I've seen him make some wierd aggro plays, 4betting J4s on the BU.. so I thought he was totally capable of making such a huge play.
any opinions or analysis on this hand is most welcome :))

still having problems with laptop overheating, but I can live with it, so quick update, this month's graph:

variance ended up biting me in the ass after the recent mini upswing, more volume should be the solution _cool:

so far so good this month, all lines going up. only problem is that tables are getting incredibly dry in the last few days, long waiting lists and fish go broke very quickly. but I'm doing ok against the regs I think, everyone is just too tight.

So, we are now by ourselves, cut off from the pokerstrategy society..
If you play with 50-60 bi, you won't give a shit about bad beats, however painful. Captain Obvious.

I've abondoned my blog for 4 months because I felt that no one is following, but now I'm back because I'm just in a desperate need for help. since I stopped posting here, I've been through the most soul crushing downswings, I mean like 60-100 BI downswing, variance can be cruel but, when I look at my all time graph, I think there's more then variance. I tried to make alot of adjustments, but I seem to develop more leaks every time.
I'm really clueless today, I'm in desperate need for help about my game here.
I'm posting my all time graph and open for any comments especially about my red line.
at the moment I'm back to playing NL6 with a 107$ bankroll since I cashed out ~1000.

it looks like you are doing a good job with it. I don't see why you should be unhappy.

you don't think it should be going in one direction ? I mean, I try to make few adjustments every now and then, but my non showdown winnings seems to go up and down randomly, in most graphs I've seen, it's going in one direction.

I managed to grind back my br up to 700$ish but then variance decided to rape me real hard, this is the most brutal downswing I ever had, 27BI under ev, I didn't even think it was possible, I really can't see how I could have avoided this one, I didn't tilt or spew or anything, I just lost every single pot.

I just played one of my longest sessions ever, 10h=5299hands :f_love:

ended up winning 22bi, nl2/6/10 I ran really good plus alot of huge fish decided to just donate their money.

my latest downswing made me really reconsider alot of things about my game and mindset, even though it has been really bad to my br but I think it definatly helped me improving my game.
so here's today graph

griding some sick volume for the last 10 days, average 5k hands every day, still running way under ev, but br back to a healthy 677$ so now I can play nl20 comfortably and take few shots at nl30 again.

some interesting hands, I will put comments later

vilain is a decent reg 25/19/7.5/3.3

vilain is a whale, for some reason I decided to barrel him like a complete aggrotard, but when I saw the turn, I was going nowhere :f_biggrin:

this is one is a bit tricky, vilain is a retard with reggish stats, I've seen him do this move plenty of times on AXX boards or paired boards, I jam the turn because I don't want a heart or a spade falling and make me outguess myself (and he is capable of barreling the river, that I know), and there is ofc the slim chance that he might fold a baby ace or even AJ-AT.

Had exactly the same thing going on yesterday, ended up winning "just" 15BI over 5000+ hands, nevertheless by far the best session I have ever played.

Btw, how many tables do you play? 5000 hands took me little over 6h 9-tabling

Keep crushing!

I play 6 tables, wich is max allowed at 888 :/ wish I could play more though.

I will be trying to get platinium status on 888poker for this month, wich would mean raking 2250$, just 250$ left to get there. platinium gives me 9% rakeback, it's peanuts but better then 4.5% they I had for the last 6 months.

haven't updated my blog for ages. I have been running good this year, and playing much much better I think, no more brutal downswings and I moved to nl50 and I feel that I am pretty much crushing, most regs are just so bad and very exploitable once you get to know them.
anyway, here is 2013 graph, mostly nl30 and nl50 around 50k hands nl20:
