This is absolutely free offer. Any games from holdem HUSNG to MTT are fine to me. If interested comment here on this blog or through PM or skype if you already have me added.

Above offer would be best with analyzed player as quest in stream but I am not sure how well my mighty 4G connection can handle skype call (and possibly screen share) and streaming at same time. But would be nice to try how it goes.

Lets get this up as reminder that offer still stands. I have one from this forum now in skype and probably will get material out of it in week or two. Will be about HUSNG though good to remember that HU is important part whatever one play any SNG or MTT (not DoN or satellites usually).

Also one more contacted through PM on weekend playing 6max sng. So if these are your games its not that common to be able to get review for free but I would want some diversity for my channel so this would be good opportunity imo?

Around breakeven session yesterday with bit nasty mtt end. Lost two 60/40 in row and then run into KK BvB close to bubble. Anyway sng filled the hole.

Played one 25€ HUSNG as filler in the end while one tabling. It had sort of interesting last hand.

So I had been pretty aggro so far and little hands went into showdown. Final hand we were 17bb effective and I got ATo on button. Minraised, BB call and flop come ATTr. Obviously nice one but getting value is unlikely. Anyway because of my huge range advantage and dry flop cbetting wide make sense and most of time even with this one small cbet is best option.

After all if I do check it will indicate some showdown value and it's tough for villain to hit anything that would be willing to then play for big pot. But if I don bet there is bigger possibility I have total air.

So went for small cbet of 1/3 pot (to be honest even minbet is fine) and villain called. So now we can define villain range into Ax (sometimes), Tx (very rare), Q high/Kx (often) and slowplayed big pocket rarely. Ax depends on villain style heavily. Some players practically never have them as they shove pre.

Turn comes 7h which opened flush draw. Nice card in a way that now I can at least have few more draws. So second barrel with bit below half pot size that create around pot size shove for river. Villain call again, river is blank, I shove and villain call with K6o no heart.

So not much to say about my line but was villain call down reasonable? Preflop is standard and flop call is mandatory. K high will be high in his range.

For turn and river I would say it depends. If he has some Ax in his range it's time to fold at this point. If he doesn't is it enough to call just with Tx or rare slowplayed pocket like QQ+? Probably not and in this case his hero calls are somewhat reasonable imo.

Related to my free offer above we now have first session set. It will be on this week Saturday at 18CET. Visitor will be PS forum member Mayb3n0T and we will take first look on some positional stats. Then focus on some possible leaks and filter hands related to them. So if you have time come to watch, talk, ask etc. Now is good time for it with no added delay in stream :)

PS: Game format was 6max sng.

PPS: And here is again link to my channel: https://www.youtube.com/user/jarppe123/live

One more absurd session. Winning flip in 25€ or 50€ bubbles or 4handed was only wet dream while I managed to lost more than enough with dominating hands.

Rare moments I actually won with 30% or 20% equity preflop all-in were always in 10€ games... Blah annoying stuff. Result was one of worst sessions this year with bit over 400€ on minus.

Well will have next session tomorrow and on Saturday probably not playing but doing just that coaching stream.

Ok I did precheck on Maybenot data and Saturday coaching will likely focus on two fundamental areas:

1: Open raise ranges in short-handed sng and bit on sizings.

2: Defending of SB and BB. Probably focus more on BB as one session goes quickly.

Maybenot got some work related stuff on Saturday so coaching will be moved to Sunday. Probably at same time 18 CET.

Played actual short session of HUSNG on my main computer today. Have been thinking of possibly doing some sort of HUSNG project. Anyway made veeeeery questionable hero call in last game just because villain had made these sort of pot bet plays way too frequently:

Turn flush draw completing was nasty but decided that whatever this guy seems too crazy to fold. Well he actually had sensible hand so my play was probably really bad even though it had happy ending (villain shows 9s7d)

Would not usually make such play but this was like third time villain made pot bet on dry flop. That is quite a achievement as this was still first blind level...

PS: Flop call is fine after check but river call less so.

I think yesterday stream about Maybenot game data was pretty nice one. Though for some reason I could not hear anything in skype call so we had to use youtube chat for communication. Also I noticed when watching video that I seem to love turning my chair all the time but hopefully that wont annoy too much :)

Thank you Ghaleon for taking your time and check all my data and find leaks on my game. It was very helpful and now i have to work on that part of my game... Hope that this video be as useful as for me and help to find leaks by comparing your stats with mine.

Cumps ;)

Played short session before Moshman stream starting in moment. Couple interesting spots and here are two of them:

In here I open raised pre, BU call. We are around bit below 20bb deep. Flop wont usually hit villain range much at all so made small cbet and he called. He might occasionally have some A7, K7 but more often some AT, KQ, KJ, QJ, QT, flush draw etc. Maybe sometimes pocket pair.

Turn might help him sometimes but its quite blank still. Card like A, K, Q would have been lot worse. So I check-called versus half pot bet. River is blank and went again for check-call and villain turned QJo. Also good to note that hand like A7 wont necessarily go for bet turn, shove river line so its mainly some Tx or perhaps set that beat me.

-----------------------------------------------

Second one was limped pre and I checked. Villain had done limp-3bet once before and I thought he might have good amount of trappy hands.

Flop SB check and I bet half pot and get called. Turn is nice scare card and increased my sizing to 70% and villain calls again. In river we had one pot size behind and I went for shove. Of course would be better to have club but its not huge deal as people play flush draws quite rarely as check-call. Some 4x would be bit better bluff though and in theory I probably overbluff if I shove here 68 and 89 without club but villain range tend to be so capped that I can probably get away with it.

I think it went okay though not having really experience on preflop 3betting range in HU for those deeper stacks made that part bit messy. I think we can in general 3bet wider amount of hands like QTs, KTs, T9s for value at those deeper stack depths actually. Versus active opponent that is.

Somewhat ok session today with 120€ profit. Considering I lost quite a few 70-80% equity hands. Plus one genius who 3bet-called preflop with KQo, flop came ATx, he donk shoved and hit gutshot versus my AK.

One fish reg helped though as he has absurd tendency to almost always bet pot if I check to him as preflop aggressor. At least in HU pot. It can be very effective versus people who won't adjust to it as betting big versus usually capped range will get lot of folds.

But when you can expect it to happen and checking when you want big action and sometimes when you just decide to give up straight... Not that good idea anymore :)

No specific reads on villain. He had played pretty normally so far. Not anything really fishy or other that would poke the eye.

Most of time I will check pre but once in a while go for this sort of trash hand raise. Flop cbet size was too big. I mean quite dry flop and pot is 1400 so 400-500 would have been enough. Well went to the end with my bluff having gutshot and not blocking too many hands that I would expect to be able to fold river. I mean 5c block some but not much. Especially after he check-call pre versus 3.5bb raise.

Well point is I have at least 88, QJ, JJ+, QTs and sometimes T9s for value. Its 25bb deep and we wont that often face limp-shove usually. This is one of rare bluffs. Hand like 75 I would have given up on river.

Well I think most questionable action was on preflop on whatever its necessary to use this sort of hand to raise but I think its ok. Though this time villain had apparently lost his fold button as he called with A3o of all hands, lol :f_biggrin:

Lets post some other spots from today. If you play sng dont do what BU did here when he shoved some A6o if I remember right:

It can look good spot but especially if SB is aggro player open shoving wide you want to be really tight. Here is FGS1 simulation: http://hands.holdemresources.net/?id=rgi26bg20kh3

BU shove range is only 13.2%, 66+ A7s+ A5s-A4s ATo+ KTs+ KQo QTs+ JTs even if SB call just 5.4%, 99+ AJs+ AQo+ and BB 8.9%, 66+ ATs+ ATo+ KQs. Buuut most of time both will call wider. It does assume that when BU folds I shove any2 and I would usually be at least really close to it. So yeah open folding Ax from BU feels nitty but ICM is bitch...

Actually other qyazo images I took were mainly some stupendous plays from villains like one reg calling Qc8c versus minraise pre and calling half pot cbet on some Ts6s5d flop. Turn came Qd which I happily bet again with my JT. Turn 8d and went checked. Kind of facepalm moments imo. Or one whale calling CO raise with 32o (yep) from BU and nailing trips on river :f_ugly:

Was nasty session all around but even with all weird suckouts, setups still managed to get tiny profit. So sort of happy end I suppose.

Heh such absurd line which confirms that "there is fish at any limit" :)

But yeah don't play AA like this on scary board 400+BB deep. Even if it's 4bet pot.

In today and yesterday sessions I think I have lost six times with bigger pocket vs smaller one preflop allin. Pretty rough but did actually make small profit again today.

Had bit ironic HU spot in one 50€ game as we were 20bb deep. Most ok players would open shove 44 as you don't really want to induce with it and it has poor postflop playability. Though yeah I see some merit in looking for limp-shove also.

Anyway villain limped, I found 22 from BB and shove versus limp is clearly best play. Villain call with his 44 and I were screwed. Kind of nasty in a way as I would have folded versus open shove :)

Also posted one HU hand from other 50€ versus reg in hand analysis area. Not sure about turn line I chose there.
