Conratz man, really happy for you.
Nice bounceback on the tables too. -9 BI session is my record loss as well

Thanks man!
Started playing some NL200 last few days. I 'm currently probably about -25bb/100 so it's safe to say that things could go better.
I managed to book my first winning session yesterday (+ 3 BI) so let's think positive. Moving back down if I loose 20BI total.

I started with 30 BI, now down to about 22 BI. It started out as a 3 BI shot but it kinda escalated.
At a certain moment, I planned to play NL200 until busto but that might be a bit over the top.
New worst day ever!

Check out that sexy redline!

Was gonna show some more hands to illustrate how bad I run but who really cares about standard setups/suckouts right? Still have 7 BI before I move down. Not sure if I 'm gonna continue at NL200. Thinking about playing NL100 already makes me more relaxed so maybe I should just do that. Pbb not gonna happen though ♦

Jep, still kinda debating what to do. Obv moving back is the safest and least stressful option. So yeah probably gonna move down.

I already have a good coach.
Time for a short update. I'm having a small upswing last few sesssions. Almost 10BI up since the low point of the month so that's nice. Mostly just running a lot better.
I 'm having a very busy time at work so don't have that much time to play so getting diamond will be close. I need to rake another 400$. I have to organise a bachelor party next saturday too so it's gonna be really tough. Will try to squeeze in another session this week and then probably grind out the last bit in the last couple of days of february. Really hope I make it!

[X] NL200 only ♠_cool:
So I rostuckod the month. A lot of rungood in there but still feels great! Didn't move down and grinded through the runbad/move up-syndrom.
I played really little though last couple of weeks because I had to work a lot so I won't make it to boot camp, which sucks.
Hey guys,
played a little more in february so made a nice 1,3k profit! Again, solely at NL200 ♠_cool:.
Even though EV-wise I 'm only break-even I am positive about my future at NL200 because obv I was running bad/playing bad in the beginning of the month and I definitely feel like I improved my game since then. I play less exploitable + found some more spots to exploit opponents. Anyway, I hope that I can establish myself as a strong NL200 reg in the coming months.
I 'll treat myself to a satellite for a live belgian donkament tonight. One time baby!
Halfway March so I guess it's time for another update right!? ♦
The month started off pretty well, I kept running and playing pretty well and felt very comfortable at nl200. Then about a week ago I hit a bit of a rough patch, leading to 6 loosing sessions in a row. Despite that, I managed to hit a new (small) mark in my poker carreer: I had a 1k stack. ♠_cool:
So I was saying I was on a downswing, about 8 BI so not really something to worry about. But I did feel like I lost focus a bit and wasn't searching for good bluffspots and leaks from opponents so now I'm making a bigger effort to do so. And guess what, I just landed this nice session:

Very short session indeed. I decided to reinstall windows today in the hope that it would speed up my pc as PT4 was lagging way too much. Definitely lost a couple hundred dollars because of that. So I was struggling with some minor issues and tried to play a short session in the progress. The reinstall seemed to have helped, or is it just my extremely small database atm? Probably the latter
I decided not to backup my old database which means a lost all my old hands. I like to keep track but hey, a fast pc is way more important. We'll see how that works out.
I decided to purchase cardrunners EV calculator and Flopzilla this week. I feel that if I can get some quality time with those two in the next months, my game could improve tremendously.
TTYL guys!
Haven't updated this blog in a while. I was thinking about letting it die but will keep it alive for at least a little longer.
Just reread last post. Didn't know I reinstalled windows that long ago already. Hasn't helped that much, will probably buy a new pc soon. I also see that back then, I just bought flopzilla and CREV. CREV was a total waste of money because I 'm too lazy to put in some time analyzing hads/spots.
Not sure how much I won in march since I reinstalled my pc after about a week but after that I won about 1k $ playing NL200 only. I pretty much established myself as a (good?) reg on that limit. In april I continued on that pace but started watching nl400 tables in the lobby more and more. I noticed that some nl200 regs were also playing those (ldo). So hey, why not try it out? Well, I did. ♠_cool: Check my april graph:

Yes, yes, running a ton above EV, I know. And I like it
So that graph is 2/3 nl400 and 1/3 nl200. Also some nl600/nl1k hands mixed in there.

Why did you start mixing in nl600 and nl1k so soon?
As I stated before in this blog, BRM is for pussies! That's why!
No seriously, because I think it's totally awesome and fun. Played a little bit before coming to NYC and lost 3k in one session so will play only nl200 and nl400 again for a while. Which is obv the smart thing to do.
I'm now in NYC. Really love the city, will post some pics when back at home. Going to stand-up comedy now.
Didn't know it was that long since I updated this.
Nevertheless, here 's a new, extra long and shiny update!
First I owe you guys a couple of pics of my NYC-trip.

Museum of natural history. Biiig museum, too much to see on a sunny day

Central Park, next to the museum. Really big and nice, clean park. Really enjoyed hanging strolling around there.

Sunset over Manhattan see from Brooklyn Bridge Park. Also really nice park, best view of Manhattan.
All in all, I definitely enjoyed it and don't regret spending money on it but the national parks and cruising through the Western states was way more epic.
Now, let's talk poker. Just before we left for NYC, I decided to put in a short session. Result: -3k$. After NY, I stopped playing at Bwin because of the whole seggregation thing over there + they changed rakeback so I think max rakeback was like 17%. I went to quite some trouble to get my entire bankroll withdrawn. Bwin support definitely lived up to their name there.
While trying to recuperate my Bwin bankroll, I decided to deposit some money on the ongame skin of pokerheaven and unibet. Never really got into the grind on those rooms and ended up loosing about 1k at each room. In the last week of May, I decided to give Zoom another try. Deposited 100$ and played nl100, ran it up to 500 in a couple 100 hands and I was on my way. Eventually played 11k hands at 9.6EVbb/100 there. Then moved up to NL200 and got off to a bumpy start but ended May BE at nl200.
So May was actually a shitty month pokerwise with all the bwin-trouble + unibet/pokerheaven losses. But Zoom got me hooked and I was happy to enjoy playing a new game at by far the best poker room.
June
So I continued playing nl200 Zoom in June. This is how it started off:

So yeah, I obv started playing NL500 to see if I could run just as good there.
Unfortunately, I couldn't.
I was down 4.6k after 25k hands, break-even EV-wise. I think I'm a marginal winner there but I definitely spewed quite a bit due to playing really tired. But man, I enjoyed playing that game so much. I was playing with legends like Redbaron, RazednConfused, 0Human0 and Mysters_Y. Pure adrenaline!
Anyway after the final downswing there (lost about 5k in one day, of which at least 1.5k pure tilt), I decided it was best for me to move back to nl200. Downswing/tilt originally continued but graph turned around now. I also played sick volume (to my standards): 50k hands. So I actually have a shot at Supernova this year.
Graph for the month:

If I look back on June, it was definitely a new milestone in my poker carreer. I played in one of the toughest games online (nl500 zoom) and I know I'll be back. ♠_cool:
