I still wanted to show my NL3 graph here. Had a little down in the middle (that was when i touched the 120$ border) but recovered pretty good

I think i'm really running hot right now. Already earned round about 25$ (so 5 Buy- In's) by playing 1250 hands and my aim to reach 200$ at the end of June seems reachable again. My bankroll is at his topvalue ever, so i'm very happy

Everything is pretty fine at the moment. Just had a wonderful session during the Bronze tournament, in which i finished at the 200th or so... I felt, that i was very concentrated, made no stupid moves and played my strong hands pretty good, i think, example:

I still feel very comfortable at that limit. My stats say, that i'm making
28.5 BB/100 (3600 hands played... i know not a big sample size). I'm frightened of the downswing... :(

I sense, that i'm getting more and more confident in my play and so making progress. I use the hand posting forum a lot in these days, cause i've got the trial version of the elephant and it is so easy to post them with this tool. Thx for that one.

Also played a MTT with 1$ Buy in but got sucked out with my QQ against 22 on a 58T board. 8% for him; that's poker i guess...

I'd like to get to know more how to analyse my game using the stats, so i post them here (all playing NL5):

Vp$iP 21.8%
Raise preflop 19.2%
AF 7.5
WtSwsF 20.8%
W$@SD 50.4%
W$wsF 40.5%

Well and there it is

Combined bad play with a few bad beats made me 6 buy ins down over the last two days, but my brm manges it. Hope it is getting better soon.
(And i won't turn ICQ on again if i want to play poker ;) )

After another loosing session yesterday, i made 2$ today.
I think i played quite good, but had a few bad beats, which robbed me some money. For example i had KK like 8 times. 2 times i lost my stack and the other 6 times i only got the blinds.
Well, i am convinced, that my badlucks leaves over the weekend...
(Damn, i have to learn for my studies again...

Hm, after this session this evening i am overwhelmed of how good the cards can be. I made unbelievable 30$ (well, unbelievable for me; Most of you guys make that in one hand, i guess...) in 450 hands, which is like 166BB/100 on NL5. My Kings finally made a lot of profit
Probably the saturday evenings have such a great number of fishes, so if there is no party anywhere, i'll play poker i think.
So, i got back my lost money and go for the 200$ mark again.

Gratz! keep up the good work!

Due to some strange Titan-Hacks in the german forum i decided to cash most of my BR out, so that i only have the minimum money left i need to play.
I started to increase the number of tables i play to eight;Imo, my game is good enough for doing so. Also it is even more easier to fold in dangerous spots.
Still, i have a lot of leaks in my game. Especially playing overpairs is difficult, imo, and sometimes i over- or underplay my strong hands. But i'm still making progress and that is the most important thing at all.
Bankroll is still 5$ under 200, but i am happy to get back to this level after my little loosing period.
Sometimes i think that i have an "aces-alarmer", cause my opponents keep folding to my standard raise if i hold them.. Hope that changes

Had my best river ever today:

Known players:
[tg]Hero$7,99:///////;MP3$5,93:///////;CO$3,94:///////;BB$5,00:///////;MP2$6,88:///////;SB$7,15:///////;[/tg]

Flop: ($0,48) Q♥, 3♠, J♥ (2 players)
SB bets $0,24, Hero calls $0,24.

Turn: ($0,96) Q♠ (2 players)
SB bets $0,24, Hero raises to $1,00, SB calls $0,76.

River: ($2,96) K♥ (2 players)
SB bets $0,28, Hero raises to $3,00, SB raises to $5,71 (All-In), Hero calls $2,71.

Final Pot: $14,38

Results follow (highlight to see):
Hero shows a full-house, queens full of kings (Ks Qd)
SB shows a flush, ace high (Ah 8h)

Hero wins with a full-house, queens full of kings (Ks Qd)

I'm not sure if i played the flop the best way (a reraise would be an option).
Here my All Time Graph. I added the moment, when i switched from SSS to SH:

Since i cashed out most of my titan cash, i transfered it to Party Poker, where there are no SH tables for the micro's, which i don't like, but i decided to play SSS there first on NL10 to get used to it again, and when i feel safe again, i'll move up to NL25 there.
I keep playing SH tables at Titan with the rest of my money to clear my 100$ bonus, which will take a while, cause there is this summer time bonus over the summer.
After i have done that, i hope i have enough money and experience to attack the NL25SH tables at PP.

Had my biggest pot today (12,69$). This was a sick river; i wanted to scream, but then i saw the hands of my opponents... Donkament:

Known players:
[tg]Hero$5,19:///////;MP3$4,25:///////;CO$1,55:///////;BU$2,25:///////;SB$5,05:///////;[/tg]

Preflop: Hero is BB with 7♣, 7♠
MP3 calls $0,04, CO folds, BU calls $0,04, SB raises to $0,20, Hero calls $0,16, MP3 calls $0,16, BU calls $0,16.

Flop: ($0,80) 7♦, 4♠, Q♣ (4 players)
SB bets $0,40, Hero calls $0,40, MP3 folds, BU calls $0,40.

Turn: ($2,00) Q♥ (3 players)
SB bets $1,00, Hero calls $1,00, BU calls $1,00.

River: ($5,00) Q♠ (3 players)
SB bets $3,45 (All-In), Hero raises to $3,59 (All-In), BU raises to $0,65 (All-In).

Final Pot: $12,69

Results follow (highlight to see):
Hero shows a full-house, queens full of sevens (7c 7s)
BU shows three of a kind, queens (Kc 3d)
SB shows three of a kind, queens (Kd Jh)

Hero wins with a full-house, queens full of sevens (7c 7s)

I think i won't play SSS, but BSS on NL5 on PP, cause i again experienced, that SSS is not my kind of play. It will take a little bit longer then to clear the bonus there, but i just learn more.

Well, i finally crossed the 200$ boarder and almost cleared my 30$ bonus on PP.
BSS works pretty good so far. I'm not running too good, because of a few suckouts, but in general it's okay.
On the SH tables on Titan everything is still fine and a lot of fun.
My biggest leak in my play are definitely the PP. I win the most money with them, but in almost all of my big loosing pots i hold big PP, like TT+. At the moment i'm concentrated to play them in a safer and more effective way, so i post them a lot in the forum.

I cleared the bonus at PP and cashed out there, cause the software is somehow laggy on my computer.
I achieved the 250$ now and could play NL10, but at the moment i'm more breakeven than on a upswing, so i stay at NL5 a little bit longer to abandon that. Example for one suckout:

Known players:
[tg]Hero$9,47:///////;BU$7,90:///////;SB$6,86:///////;CO$11,28:///////;MP2$1,00:///////;MP3$1,27:///////;[/tg]

Preflop: Hero is BB with 6♣, 2♥. MP2 posts a blind of $0,04. MP3 posts a blind of $0,04.
MP2 checks, MP3 checks, CO folds, BU calls $0,04, SB calls $0,02, Hero checks.

Flop: ($0,20) 3♥, 2♣, 6♠ (5 players)
SB checks, Hero bets $0,15, 2 folds, BU calls $0,15, SB folds.

Turn: ($0,50) 6♦ (2 players)
Hero bets $0,35, BU raises to $0,70, Hero raises to $2,25, BU raises to $3,80, Hero raises to $9,28 (All-In), BU raises to $7,71 (All-In).

River: ($17,49) A♥

Final Pot: $17,49

Results follow (highlight to see):
Hero shows a full-house, sixes full of deuces (6c 2h)
BU shows a full-house, aces full of sixes (Ac Ad)

BU wins with a full-house, aces full of sixes (Ac Ad)

Later another FH got sucked out by an ace on the river:

Known players:
[tg]Hero$12,23:///////;CO$5,32:///////;MP3$5,00:///////;SB$1,19:///////;BB$5,86:///////;BU$6,03:///////;[/tg]

Preflop: Hero is MP2 with 9♣, 9♠
Hero raises to $0,16, 3 folds, SB calls $0,14, BB folds.

Flop: ($0,36) 2♦, A♣, 2♥ (2 players)
SB checks, Hero bets $0,25, SB calls $0,25.

Turn: ($0,86) 9♥ (2 players)
SB checks, Hero bets $0,60, SB raises to $0,78 (All-In), Hero calls $0,18.

River: ($2,42) A♦

Final Pot: $2,42

Results follow (highlight to see):
Hero shows a full-house, nines full of aces (9c 9s)
SB shows a full-house, aces full of deuces (As 2c)

SB wins with a full-house, aces full of deuces (As 2c)

And then i was busted by someone who called my strong reraise from 16 to 70 cents with a pair of sixes, when i had kings and he hit his set on the flop...
Well, that's poker, but it, however, makes me angry...

Downswing or breakeven play seems to be over. Today i again made overaverage winnings, so i'll give NL10 a try tomorrow. I'll play 2 tables NL5 and 2 tables NL10 to make sure i stick to my game.

Well, that's it. For me it is time to pause playing poker until the end of august, when i have returned from my holidays. I'll be off to France Tuesday in a week, but the next week i have to take care of my application for a scholarship in the USA for next year, so i need the time.
The point in time could probably not have been better, because i achieved my goal to have the BR to really attack NL10, when i come back (My short lock turned out to be a bad idea due to some bad beats). I'm looking forward to that.
My next goals then are the followings:

[] Get the elephant license
[] Reach gold status
-> [] Read the gold articles
-> [] Watch interesting gold videos
[] Have the BR to play NL20 until the end of October
[] Reach the 1k$ boarder until the end of the year

So, i wish all of my blog-readers a nice holiday and good cards. See you then;
and thanks for reading, of course.

As ending my NL5 graph of July. My winrate was approximately 9BB/100:

Hi, I've read your posts and you seem to be going on the right way (unlike me :P).

Abot your stats, 11,6k aren't many hands to evaluate the stats, but you're calling too loose preflop like your VP$IP shows. Your VP$IP and PfR shouldn't have a difference higher than 5, so for you to have that VP$IP you should have atleast 19% PFR. I'd tighten up a bit though, on microlimits playing LAG isn't worth it and it's very hard to do so.

Hey, thanks for analysis. Yeah, i felt it that i better play more tight, which i then started to do and it worked better.
I'll be on holiday tomorrow

I'm really looking forward to play again, but i'll probably only be able to start in october, since i've got two pretty important examens in september... Thinking about taking one month more free from poker, but that is so -EV...
Guess i have to look at how my learning progresses.

Bye bye

Well, my holiday is over and i decided to cash in again on Titan to start grinding NL10. But before i'm going to play some NL5 just to get into the pokergame again; so far worked my session today pretty good; 1 stack up.
If i feel sure about the standard moves and my starting hands again, i will move up to the next level.

However, my examens get nearer and i have to learn a lot, but there is some time for poker; one hour a day should be possible ;-)

Had a very bad session today.
At one table was the probably biggest fish on titan. He went all in with every hand, i really mean every hand. This went good for him for about half an hour; he was interim 300BB deep. I was so long waiting for an adequate hand but just didn't get anything. It was so annoying... Once I had TT but another gamer pushs before me, so i fold.
The card dead continued on the other tables as well, so it was a bit boring :O
At the end of the session i lost set over set and another stack with queens.

Well, let's hope i generated a lot of rake for the STB ;)

But in general i must say NL10 doesn't seem to be very similar to NL5. I had the impression that more people start to steal the blinds more frequently.

gn8

P.S.: I lost my silver status... :(
