The same thing happened to me the other day in the 5cO bounty. Was second in chips and the chip leader had position on me from 50 all the way to the final table. He was mega aggro holdem fish with a huge bounty :f_mad: I finally managed to take the chip lead when he chased a naked gutshot on a flush draw board against top set + nut fd....

Anyway the next hand I flopped the nuts with a redraw on 67T against his 58 with no other draw or pair. He bet-called. I had 90% for more than half the chips in the tournament and he hit his backdoor flush :f_thumbsup: :f_thumbsup: :f_thumbsup: Also on the final table he busted me with 35% :f_thumbsup: :f_thumbsup: :f_thumbsup:

Seeing your bad beat made me feel better about my beat, so I hope I return the favour! _cool:

yea man poker is brutal. i would keep destroying the table but after the beat suddenly some ppl have me covered. and on the final table this happens

obv he folded :f_mad:

sigh i mean i can still win it but i would enjoy it much more if i had won that god damn most important hand. poker really channels your inner animal. im a calm guy normally even on table tennis tournaments when theres a lot of pressure involved. i actually won 11/12 of my games that went into the deciding 5th set. ppl even tell me they r jealous i can stay that calm and collected. and at the poker table i go crazy. hit on the mouse and the desk all the damn time. jesus lol

idk how i called here. his line didnt make sense but considering i play vs $1 donks who knows. i think if he has strong ace he can check back flop a lot since what shud i have. if he has sth i feel like he always bet turn. i was scared to bet river because i feared the raise but i told myself i would call because it just doesnt make any sense.

What was your line in this hand if you dont mind me asking? :f_cool:

About QJ, its better to bet turn and river than flop, turn and have 0 clue what to do against their A high heavy range OTR

With the AT Im checking the river also, but nice bet-call!

With the KJ you can size it down to get more underpairs to call or size it bigger to get more value from Ax.

Its interesting OTR because you are uncapped (I think you flat AK preflop vs UTG that covers you), so his shove would mean such a strong hand that wants your bounty and his AK and AA would play exactly the same. plus, you can affor losing 33% of your stack and remain in 3rd position rather than busting in 5th.

so sick man what can i do. it sucks icm wise to bust here but im still playing for tournament win. if i win this pot ill desroy them easily. sigh.

on a side note i min cashed the 2k fr on 32red poker for 5.4€ which was decent. roll is around 13 there now. on stars im up 125 in cash today. really nice ofc. just sucks how both final tables ended for me today. could have been an insane day but ill gladly take the winnings. i won T$11 on top. i actually won a decent amount of sets today. sadly most of the shot i had in $5 tourneys ended like this.

$11 omaha i won a ticket for. i had villain marked as quote me "IDIOT STATION". ofc he can have boats here but ill gladly get it in vs someone i know is dum :)

anyway bankroll hit $405 which is really great. during the session i realised some tournaments that i play r kinda bad. for tmw ill definately leave them out. i mean even this one is actually fucked up since its structure is so slow. but that lowers variance which is not bad. also the knockout aspect is really nice.

i also hope that i didnt bother those who read my thread too much with my hysteric updates. if u dislike let me know and ill pack it one post or two. :f_ugly: :f_pleased:

have a nice weekend everyone. time for me to go to sleep. good night *wave

good to hear. yes deep run in micro millions would be nice for sure :f_biggrin:

what i hate already is that u get into the rhythm i hated back then. u play into early mornings then go to sleep, stand up and basically u have to almost start right away. so u got nothing of the day basically. especially when u had to grind almost an hour to get the requirements for the next 2k freeroll on 32red poker. they r too juicy tho so i hope it will be worth it. had to play nl2 and ended up 3€ which is ok. bankroll almost 16 over there and the 2k startes in a little over an hour. will go take a shower now, then eat and start the session. i mixed in several $3 tourneys yesterday and i cashed like 50% of em. had a lot of mincashes as well. im afraidf tho to mix in higher buy ins. $3 compared to 2 or 1 is a huge difference for me. although the skill lvl is basically the same. will play several 3s today of course. with t$ bankroll is 416. goal for today is to finish at at least 380. i guess thats reasonable . also a cash in the 2k freeroll would be really nice. lets hope for the best. ill keep you updated :f_thumbsup:

this was after like 30-40 hands. i managed to get a good lead without being all in before. he was really aggro and i played back a lot. so theres decent amount of history involved. at this point he would call down on blanks with 88 or sth similar in this spot. river perfect card for me but sadly it was an unlucky setup.
