I have no idea what Tough Mudder is, but it sounds like something that would be pretty tough!

So good luck :f_biggrin:

Big day today,

Going to attempt 60+ games, which for some doesn't sound too many. For me this is a few more than normal.

Still having breakfast so a slow start. Weather is terrible so don't fancy a run. Will do a little work out at home, shower then into it!

Went out last night to a birthday celebration in Manchester, some swanky hotel. Saw Ricky Hatton and Victoria Wood (only the older Brits will know her). Hanging with the celebs :f_cool:
Feel a bit rough today, didn't stick to my plan of a few beers and opted for beer, wine and cocktails.

Also woke up to find that an old school friend and rugby adversary in Hull has died aged just 36. So sad.

Anyway, let's do this.

60 game Sunday challenge

I gave myself a bit of a challenge today to push me into my weekly aim of 250 games. It was pretty tough. Especially when my preparation was not ideal

Here's the graph. Played 7 3.50's and the rest are 7's.

In the money 42%, as usual too many bubbles and far too many 2nds. I showed a profit at the 3.50's and at the 7 regulars but lost about $60 at the 7 turbo's. I just can't get to grips with em.

I have a ton of hands to go over, so many so that it will probably be a quick skirt over em. Pretty disappointed but at least I didn't spew off my BR today.

As for the red line, I really just don't get it. I still refuse to post bad beat hands but seriously. Never mind. Move on :f_biggrin:

I think I've been on that roller coaster before ;).

Congrats on completing your challenge and finishing on the positive side. :)

  • Was it all 6-tabling?
  • Do you play sets or open up a new table once one closes?
  • How long did it take for you to get your 60 games in?

I fire up 6 then open up another as I bust. I had 8 going at one point but became too hectic.
I played quite a few turbos too.

I played in 3 blocks, first 32 took me around 4hrs. Then 20 around 2.5hrs and the last 8 I fired up all at once for 1 more hr. A long day. It wasn't really a money making exercise (just as we'll really), just
wanted to know if I could complete a little challenge. 8hrs total, a full shift with some reviewing in between.

As usual my bubble and HU play let me down' which I'll go over later. I am going to ask Mr Ivica if he has any tips on the subject. Also I won my last table which I seem to always do, there's a lot to be said for giving it your full attention.

Not really a bad beat hand so I will allow myself to post this one!!

Pretty much sums up my week really. Unbelievably I went on to lose this one too in another bizarre turn of events :rage:

Just played a quick 6 games. 1 x 4th and 5 x bubbles.
Again and again I go from the big stack to bubble in far too many :f_cry:

Suggest for our next group review that you select 5-10 bubble hands that you think were close decisions and we can discuss. It might be a bit different being 6-max vs Full-Ring, but I'm sure we can muddle through.

I think we should work through hrc together, but if you guys don't mind having a look.

It is the whole bubble play in general. I tend to run into top of people's ranges when I play back. Two other guys get it in then chop the pot, get sucked out on. I'm hoping hrc will flag up some glaring mistakes but can't be bothered right now to go through em. Not like me at all. Maybe later. Hopefully spot some and be ready for some serious volume tomorrow. :f_cool:
