well today it isn't going as well as yesterday I already out 10 mtt's already and down to my final 2. in 1 I am just a bit below average and already in the money and the other I am really short. So far I am done about $ 120 so need to get at least somewhat deep to show a profit today.

Still in the Big $ 11 getting pretty short though with less then 10 bb left. Lost an important flip. Not much I can do you then find the right spots to push and call when I get the right equity against the pushers range.

finished 136 out of 18563 for $ 222.75. Which made still still a decent profitable day with almost $ 100. The final hand I got 99 with less then 10 bb and the sb called with QQ and I didn't hit my outs and was out of the tournament.

Well it been a while since I updated this thread.

In the new year I decided to start playing the stt's turbo again. Although this isn't my best game I wanted to go for supernova this year and with stt's I thought making a better chance in getting enough volume to grind it out.

so far I played 887 SnG both $ 7 and $ 15 with a ROI % of 4.2 % and winning $ 351.25

Unfortunately I now need to make sure I finish my college this year because of a new goverment rule that students you do longer to finish ther college need to pay € 3064 on top of the normal college costs.

This means I need to do a internship with a final asignment which takes about 3 months. In that period of time I don't have enough time left to also work. So I need enough money to get by for three months.

They are obligated to give at least € 350 a month in internship compensation. I do hope I can negotiate a much better compansation ofcourse but I don't count on it :(. In the last couple of months I did manage to save up € 400 but still this wouldn't be enough to life off. So considering I can't loan or get some money from family I was forced to withdraw a large part of my bankroll :(.

I only left myself with $ 330

Now I am thinking what to do since getting supernova now seems very unlikely.
I could:
- change to a site with a weaker field of players or a better bonus/rakebackdeal for low/micro tournament players
- play micro mt sng's and mtt's
-something else( like HU SnG's, NLHE cashgames or learn an other variant of poker)

What it will be I haven't decided yet but I definatly won't be quiting with poker since I still get enough enjoyment out of the game :). If anyone has any tips I am definatly open to suggestions.

Staking a possibility to help you grind yourself a roll back at your normal limits? You've had no problem getting interest in the past for staking, worth thinking about.

I will probably use some staking in the future although it might still not be enough that I can get to supernova in this year. unless ofcourse I find me having some rare big upswing or something.

If I want to play mt sng/ mtt's I probably will stay at pokerstars since there I can get the best volume playing those and ither sites don't even come close. If I want to play cashgames other then NLHE I probably better staying at stars too. However if I want to keep playing stt's or switch to HU sng's or NLHE cash I might be better off finding an other site to play at.

First I have some test though where I need to focus on and will weigh my options carefully when I have the time to do so.

Well had some time now after the tests. So I decided to play some mtt's today with a bit of staking. Unfortunately it didn't go to well. Still I think I still played fairly well and so far only not to happy about a few spots where I most likely overestemated my fold equity against unknowns.

I Also started to play some HU SnG's and doing fairy well so far but ofcourse I don't yet have a decent samplesize and still have to learn alot ^^. 2 opponent I remember best one was berating my play the whole time telling me how a fish I was for only playing 2 tables HU and how I was a callingstation ( although I was raising and reraising quite often ) I don't know if he was serious or was just trying to tilt me but I could easily figure out how he played and luckely for me he accepted my rematch like 6 times and I only lost once ♦.

The other opponent has just shoving almost every hand. So I folded more of my weaker hand and started calling him more lightly. Although I had the best hand everytime exept once ( and even that time I was pretty sure I was ahead of his range) he got lucky alot. unfortunately I decided not to play me any more after 7 games because I am quite sure I would have easily shown a good profit against that player had we played alot of games against eachother. Still despite getting sucked out alot I still won 3 out of 7 games against him.

so far it hasn't gone that well. I played 51 Hu SnG's so far and I am down $ 2,66. Not that this is horrible but I probably could play much better. Since I am not really need to get supernova anymore I decided to focus more on analysing my game, watching video's, reading articles. Maybe I even going to play some cash from time to time.

The Hu games I seem to have to be alot more focussed since I need to adept to you opponents much more then in other games. So probably better off playing other games when I am not on top of my game.

Tonight I am going to play some mtt's/mt SnG's will let you all know how it goes :).

Today that yesterday I tried some NL10SH and it did go surpricingly well winning $ 29.70 over 494. I know it doesn't come close to being even a decent samplesize but I usely just run bad right away when I try to play cash so I devinatly going to enjoy my run good as long as it last ^^.

The tournaments whened much worse as I only managed to get itm in 1 out of the 14 games losing $ 14,98;(. The only game I got itm was the $ 30K vip freeroll where I finished 398th for $ 15. So still not running well in tournaments it seems

So far it still is going great playing N10SH since after 912 hands this month I am up $ 54.74. So now I added an extra table playing 3 tablers now instead of 2 :).

today I played an other 398 hands today and won an other $ 20.73. SO that is already $ 75.47 I earned this month playing NL10SH. This are going great

Hi all sorry for not posting in a while since my last post I lost $ 11.34. I lost 2.5 stack on the 8th loosing a flip and getting it with top set Q on the turn only to get sucked out by an A on the river. Also I wasn't able to get alot of value with my value hands. Still it go much better on the other days though.

I also played a set of 9 $ 3,5 turbo SnG's since there weren't any good tables to play at at the early morning. It was a really good session too although I got sucked out multiple times I think I really played really well and eventually cashed in 5 out of 9 games winning $ 11.16.

The last couple of days I had a back and forth disagreement with Coach and Handevaluater veriz about this hand. I will give a short summuary about our disagreement:

Preflop:
Since he was an unknown veriz would fold to this 3-bet. I thought this was abit on the tight side since for me to fold me TT I would even consider folding I would need to put him on only a valuerange something like 99+, AJs,AQo and I think that in average most unknown would have much more in there 3-betting range in a 6-max game then that ( like at least some Ax and weaker pairs)

Flop:
He want to bet after villians dicide to check to difine our hand and to protect against overcards. I went here for a pot-control line since if we would be playing for stacks I see my TT not being the best hand often enough. I also was somewhat worried that he might be c/r me as a bluff as well for value making me have to fod what might be the best hand. This probably was a bit overevaluating the situation since probably most players on this limit would think on that level. Also I really don't see the need to valuebet since if he has the worst hand he has at best 6 outs. Also I might get more value from hands that would otherwise have c/f the flop.

My plan would here was over c flop if an a undercard comes or a J,Q,K caling the turn if he leads and reevaluate the river and if an A comes and he leads just fold since alot of his range consist of A-combo's and if he didn't have an A it would probably be a scare card for him too. If he c the turn on any card I would bet and expect to take down the pot most of the time.

His plan would be bet the flop, check behind most turns and fold river to a bet as villian would never bet river as a bluff or check behind river.

Turn: His plan would be vilian could easily trap so I should fold. I think by checking the flop I really underep my hand so it is likely he tries to pick up the pot with his complete pre-flop range and since I still beat most of them I can't really fold here. So I think calling and reevaluating the river if better.

River: he would check behind and note villian. I really think I would miss value here by not thin valuebetting here. We really have underrepped our hand so far so I think he is capable of calling light with Ax and lower pairs as 66,77,99 ofcourse he might have also been playing hands like TT,JJ,QQ this way but on average I am ahead most of the times when he calls. Also because I think it is unlikely he plays this way with a 5x,8x or KK,AA

villian had stats of 75/7 over 59 handsand although he indeed might indeed have the 65 I though it wasn't very unlikely and there was a good chance he could stack off with worse hands. Looking afterwards I think I should have bet at least $ 4-5 on the turn which would make it much more likely he would stack off the river since now the riverbet still is pretty large. Not that that would have mattered in this hands, though :f_cry:.

So I had to finished the day down $ 20.20

Well today I played 3 SH tables and added 2 good FR tables. Which whened very well winning $ 10.73 over 465 today

I think I probably will keep playing 1 or 2 FR tables in my session plus I will take a shot at NL16SH Friday. I will keep you all updated on my progress.

Also started today reading my next 6-max book the Poker Blueprint. Hope I can learn some new things from it. ^^

unfortunatly I needed even more money to get by :(. So I pretty much had to withdraw almost all my funds :(.

The only plusside was that William Hilll decided to give me $ 100 for free so I am mostly playing there now to so I can play the amount free.

The only money I did give myself is for this micro event that I try to play as many as I can.
