I live in Jönköping (JKPG) but made a visit to Gothenburg. There are buses and trams there, some people even have cars! But I am in to saving the environment so I walk. Nah just lying now, the truth is that I am to cheap to take the bus or a cab.

Reward points hunting
PartyPoker has a reward points system where you are given a goal each weeks which is a certain number of PartyPoints that shall be collected. I have no idea if there is any good value in this system but I am a sucker for these things so I always try to reach my goal each week.

I am behind in my reward point collecting this week since I have played lots on another site than PartyPoker. My goal (dont make fun of me now) is 41 PartypPoints this week. I am halfway there but a 2-hour session on nine tables tomorrow should solve the problem.

Hey berra. Your weekly goal is higher than mine, gives you a idea of how much I play. 100 reward points = $1.00 in case you didn't know. Party has a promotion going on right now called points means cash. You have to sign up for it. Normally 100 points = $1.00 but in this promo if you can accumulate 1000 points in the promo period which I think is 30 days you can get $40.00. Promo started on august 15 and runs to september 13. The catch is you have to collect 1000 points minimum or you will get nothing, you'll still have your points though. There is no limit to the amount of points you can collect. Promo is useless to me right now since I wouldn't be able to collect enough points.

I cleared my goal today and im in the bonus tommorrow. Lots of fish on party today, think I played about 150 hands and I was up over $6.00.

Lets say you reach your weekly goal tommorrow. Your weekly goal of 41 isn't added to your total reward points. Lets say you have queen level 1 multiplier which is 2. Your total rewards would be 41 times 2 which equals 82. 82 would be added to your total plus any bonus points you accumulate.

I would say if you didn't need to cash out your points just leave them there so all of your reward points can get hit with the multiplier. Im going to leave mine in there and months from now cashing those points in for a big reward. Maybe pay for a part of a trip or something expensive for myself. I do plan on playing alot more in the future so I can get there quicker.

Have fun tommorrow.

Weekly goal completed
Managed to fix my weekly goal today at PartyPoker. Was in a hurry so I played eight tables to get there fast. This meant that my reads on my opponents was very limited. Got lucky with the cards getting many big pairs which I played very hard. So in the end I actually managed to win a little this day too. Hope this good run continues.

Quick visit at PartyPoker
Played a few hands at PartyPoker today. Hit some nice hands, flopped a full house for example. On my way to clearing another $25 of the PokerStrategy.com starting bonus. Nice to have a little extra boost to my bankroll so that I eventually can move up to NL10. Plan to do this when i have $250 in my PartyPoker account.

Was gonna cash out some money from PacificPoker today. I never play there so was gonna use the money to pay some bills. However they would not let me cash out since I apparently had gotten some bonus that I must clear first. So now I must play a little there. Do not like that site the client sucks and their rake is way to high X(

I also have a little bit of money on pacificpoker. I don't like it either. Not enough tables for cash game. Sng and tournaments are okay though. Lots of choice there.

Thought I saw you on party today, couldn't remember your id though. So I checked your first post and yup it was you. Remember a hand where you tripled up. You had queens and your opponents had pocket aces and another had kings and you ended up spiking a set on the flop. Very nice.

Only two more points away from clearing my weekly goal. Should be in the bonus for the next four days. Heh Heh. Im about a week away from getting the $25 dollar bonus from party. Will be a nice boost to the bankroll.

What other sites do you play on? I party during the afternoon and titan at night, but I slacked on titan last night not playing that much. I hardly touch pacific anymore.

Did not remember the hand with the queens but found it in my "archives", got a bit lucky in that one

Some of the sites that I play at are:

Carlos Poker a iPoker skin so it is the same players that you meet when you play at Titan. I like the client but it is a bit slow meaning few hands per hour. Many tight players in my opinion which not necessarily is a bad thing.

Svenska Spel Swedish site and you must be Swedish to play there. Low rake, not so much players, crappy client.

Fatbet Poker kind of a strange site, the client was very unstable before but is better now. Hardly any players but there are for some reason many Italians. Wow i like Italians the just love playing anything suited which means you can make much money of them just as long as they do not draw out. Good rake-back at Fatbet Poker if you sign up via som rake-back site.

Carbon Poker is a site that has their own very classy client, fast and good looking. They also have some extra features like time-bank, "deal it twice", "rabbit hunting". I don't play there much though.

PartyPoker many players, and they totally suck at least at NL5 where I currently play :P The client is however ugly, retarded and annoying. I might evolve on this subject in a later blog.

I have accounts on loads of other sites but these are the ones which I have played at recently.

Regulars
Have played for a while at PartyPoker now. This means that there are some opponents that I have meet several times and collected a few hundred hands that reveal how they usually play.

There is one player which I played against today that seems to be amazingly tight. He has so fare played 4% of his hands and only raised 2% of them before the flop. Lets look closer what this means. It is now that the Equilator software that can be downloaded here on PokerStrategy comes in handy. It is possible in this software to see hand ranges based on percentages.

4% of the best starting hands means: AA-77 and AKs
2% of the best starting hands means: AA-JJ

Pretty tight :) Not the best way to play in my opinion since you become very easy to read and the blinds will eat you up.

Doing well
Things continue to go my way at PartyPoker. Played a 2-hour session today at the $0.02/0.04 NL tables and won $7.89. I also cleared a bonus today meaning $25 extra to the bankroll :]

Have played about 10k hands in total at these tables now and my BB/100 is 22.96. Nice to know that there seems to be at least one blinds-level that I can crush ;)

Enough bragging for today. Will try to write something more interesting tomorrow. If you have anything special that you want me to write about let me know OK?

Funny freeroll
Played a freeroll in the middle of the night. Loads of sit-outs so after a while there was only me and one Chinese actually playing at the table. I tried to get him to cooperate so we would share the wealth of all the blinds that was there for free now. The Chinese had other plans however and played very aggressive against me. This meant that i had to take him out

Now there was only me and nine sit-outs on the table :P Very nice since I only needed to min-raise every hand to get them auto-folded and I pick up the blinds. This goes on for like 25 minutes but then two players come to life. I take them out too after awhile but then the table becomes split up and I get moved to another table.

I got a pretty big stack but I made a stupid call with AQs in the end and missed the money this time.

Slower now
Have played quite a lot at PartyPoker already this week but not won much. Have been some bad-beats and the coin flips tend to go wrong.

An example of coin flips from today. I get QQ and I do a standard raise. One player re-raises. The player who re-raises has done this a lot when I have seen him play before so my ladies are probably doing pretty well. I move all-in directly. The enemy calls. It turns out that he has AK-suited and an A eventually turns up on the board.

Moving up
Moved up to NL$10 at PartyPoker today. Was gonna wait until I had $250 in my account but got too bored at NL$5.

Unfortunately the players seemed to be much better already, compared to the lowest level that is. Fairly aggressive and not many players that where way off in their play. I played in the middle of the day however, there might be more fishes in the evening. Will see if this is the case later today.

More NL10
Made my debut at Party's NL10 today. Wrote a little about this in the last post. Was a little worried because the players played surprisingly well during my first try which was before lunch.

Had another go in the evening now and things looked better. Had at least two players on every table that played way too loose-passive. The type of players that limp in with more than half of their hands. Playing this many hands will get them in to trouble sooner or later.

There where also some players that where way too tight in my opinion. The bad thing about being too tight is that it makes you very predictable. It is also easy to steal the blinds from tight players.

The conclusion that can be made from today is that there is no point in getting up from bed before 12:00. Sleeping between 3:00 and 12:00 is probably a good compromise between finding good games and getting some day-light :)

PINK
I have got addicted to the new song from Pink called So What. Pink is however not real music and nobody will remember the song next year. I mean they try make her into some kind of rebel. But it is so obvious that everything just is a big fake record company product designed to sell loads of singles to 13 years old kids.

I bet that Pink does not even exist she is probably computer animated . A band that I can promise exists because I have seen them live many times is this. Real music!

August Summary
Time to sum up August, here are the results:

Things have gone my way on PartyPoker this month.

There are some troubles with my stats though. PFR% which is how often I raise preflop is a bit low compared to how often I enter a pot (VPIP%). The Agg% which is a measure of my aggression postflop is also too low. Must work on this next month.

Will be back tomorrow with some goals for September.

Not a good day
Had my first losing day at PartyPoker since I started blogging here. Don't really know why. Might have been a little impatient choosing to play some hands not strong enough relative my position on the table.

It is of course also totally natural not to win every single day.

The good news are that I have already completed my weekly goal in the first day of the week. I also cleared another $25 of my free starting capital. So my bankroll at Party is at a new record high despite losing a little while playing.

Have $25 left to be cleared of my free money and I will try to fix this by Thursday.
