Well I played more today.. And won back my losses :)

I have now played 11000 hands and run at 3.2ptbb/100.

Here is a graph, kind of swingy.. The last 3000 hands are from today.

Phew - gratz on making it back up. Your graph does look pretty swingy :)

But if we can trust in Sonics overall graph - every swingy graph is followed by a sick upswing

I'm running pretty good at the moment. I have almost played 14000hands on NL50 SH and got 4.66ptbb/100 with give me 650$ in profit.

I still play 21/18, and have to say it's much more fun to play loose SH than supertight FR as my stats where 12/9 there.

My bankroll is now 2000$, but I don't think I'm going to take a shot at NL100 before I got close up to 3000$.

And this partypoint system I really don't understand. I got King level and earn PP x3, but when should I turn my PP into money, whenever or should I wait? I got 4000pp atm.

nice to run hot !
I advise you to take a shot at NL100 while you're running hot. You can use a rule like if you lose 2or3 buy-ins you get back to NL50 and wait a little more, or if you run hot, you can make a lot of money and settle at NL100 straight ahead. However you must feel confident about your game, because this is what matters most, beyond bankroll criteria.

Thanks for advise megaB!!
Lets see what happend:

And I still made this with 2 stacks lost with KK all-in preflop vs AA, twice!
You can also see my other stats from my first month with SH play.

But I made this mostly because of this hand.

Nice shot and nice winnings. But be careful with moving up, because you don´t have played a samplesize on Nl25 or Nl50. Set yourself a limit like: If i loose x stacks i move down. And stick to the BRM, you need at least 30 stacks for the limit you are playing. Good luck to you.

Best regards,
TribunCaesar

well glad your shot worked out :)
mine hasn't :(

Okey, I have played 6500hands on NL100. Started very good, but now I'm in a downswing with some coolers, bad beats and bad play. I was +900$ at most, but now I'm only +91$ at NL100. So I'm going to move down back to NL50 witch have ALOT more fishes than NL100.

I'm going to post a graph just so you can see my downswing. Shouldn't only post my upswings^^,

I'm not going to play much the next 2-3 weeks, have to read to exams at school :( Soooooo booooooring.. :O

After I'm finish with school I'm going to study the game much more, I think I need that before taking another shot at NL100. Even though my BR is close for a new shot.

My goal is to grind my BR up to 5k and cash out 2k to buy a Canon 70-200 f/2.8L IS lens! Should reach that goal sometimes in the summer i hope.

BR: 2400$ :(
(Well, should not be that sad about my bankroll. Only invested 38$ to get it!:))

ZOMG BAD BEAT AT SCHOOL. I'm one of the 6 persons that have to take another exam out of 30 students in my class. Stupid "random" school system.

Less time for poker this week, next week and two more weeks. I'm really looking forward to be Bronze member again ;)

WTF! This graph is almost the same like mine too!!!!
and I'm reading ppl's post in slovenian forum and suddenly just everyone has a downswing. That's weird...I really wouldn't like to think of some conspiracy background :( :( :(

Due to my sick downswing I have played some SnG instead of cash. And got a ROI of 39 after 17x11$SnG. And that is of course a substantial sample size. So I should stop playing cashgames!

Well, I will at least not play cashgames for some days. And instead watch videos and study the game. Then hopefully I can start playing cash again and my downswing will stop.

I think I beat SnG pretty well, have played 300SnG before I joined pokerstrategy and had a ROI of 17. But I rather play cash because I think I earn more $$ there, and that makes me build my bankroll much faster.

Exam to morrow, wish me luck!

gl for your exam. I am currently in the middle of a sick downswing too (9K hands already) in chich I lost 20buy-ins at NL50, so I moved down to NL25 deep 6 where stacks are the same but blinds are smaller people play a lot worse plus you don't get coolered that much, because of the depth of stacks you are more inclined to fold :) so I am never losing more than 15$ with AK on A92, where as I would be losing at least 25$ at NL50
