Luckbox yesterday ? Yea, it was a part of it for sure ...
But what I found most striking was the high number of people on NL50 and NL100 who were understacked (30-75 % of max buyin) and the number of people minraising or underbetting and playing with scared money. That was so sick.
It's true that there are a lot of players undestacked at NL50 & NL100, but usually these are the worst players of the table so it's ok 
One good thing about the bad players being midstacked is that if they draw out of your hand in the beginning, now they have full buy-in, so you can get your money back fast + some extra

It dropped back to 170 $ at one point, but I've seen what NL50 and NL100 is like and me likes it. It doesn't seem too hard and I'm fully convinced it's beatable.
Of course, I shifted back to NL25 now, crazy times are over and I now consider this money to be bankroll money, not freeplay money ♦
However, I grinded back to 235 $ and got a money finish on a 11 $ tournament. Fifth place with 194.4 $ extra in my account 
Just a bit pissed though, that right after I was eliminated, the other 4 made a deal for 400 $ each

I can only hope so, but I actually doubt it. My game's very good, but I'm probably a bit too conservative in MTT play. I'd been average stacked almost all tourney long and got lucky a few times having AK vs AQ, reraising 66 vs AK and hitting a set on the flop etcetera.
At the final table, I started as the ultimate shortstack but managed to grind my way up to fifth. The only real bad thing about the tourney is that from 50th onwards, I always had the (changing) chip leader left of me who pushed me all-in whenever I tried to steal blinds with ATs etc. I folded to a push though, because I didn't want to take the risk to end 34th with 34 $
I preferred grinding through to reach the final table for the third time in my life (only had 2 50$ freeroll final tables before) ... and at that final table, I preferred to back off and see the other guys eliminate one another instead of moving myself (always got raises in front that I couldn't push))
It's got nothing to do with scared money, it's just that having an outlook on 500 $ (2nd) or 800 $ (1st) was too much to risk it with nothing. Even if you play NL600, 500 $ is a lot of money.

Don't play too carefully. If you want to win the tournament you have to take some risks. I'm not talking about stupid play. I mean don't lay back and wait for others to bust. Try to build a stack yourself by playing aggressively.

I had to ... there was always action in front of me and I got 2 bigstacks left of me, while I kept getting crap absolute rubbish. I couldn't do anything decent, but fold with 84o, 73s, 92o, T4s, ... you get the picture
Having withdrawn my money, I played a few more 400 man freerolls on Full Tilt where I still had a 2 year old account. I played 3 of them, reaching the ITM spots twice (top 18), but those two times 2 bucks were gone fast, hehe. Need luck to survive with that ♦
Still need to figure out whether I can change that account over to the PokerStrategy affiliation though with a PSVIP code ...
But ok, I got about 840 $ on my bank account now and I receive 9 $ from Party because the three 3$ Speed SNG entries I bought couldn't be delivered, so they gave the entry money to me.
Let's see how much I can make of 9$ by the time I go to bed ♦

I devised a bankroll management scheme for me to keep in 2008 by the way :
NL25 : Required to start : 500 $ (20BI)
NL50 : Required to start : 1200 $ (24BI) (SH : 10 % more)
NL100 : Required to start : 2800 $ (28BI) (SH : 25 % more)
NL200 : Required to start : 6400 $ (32BI) (SH : 25 % more)
NL400 : Required to start : 14000 $ (35BI) (SH : 25 % more)
Moving down whenever I don't feel comfortable anymore. I just expect bigger swings at higher levels and I think I need some adjustments to my play each time as well as NL25 (my current level) just feels too easy, makes me think "that's not poker ?" many times too often
Interesting , i had the exact opposite BRM ♦ . I was requiring more buyins to play on low limits than i did to play on nl200/400 .
I would recommend switching to SH asap though , FR is really a waste of time.
I was an FR junkie too for a long time , and when the coaches were playing SH i was like wtf noobs ♦ , but i finally saw the light. And did i mention the play level is worse than FR?
I prefer more buyins at higher level against better players. I don't fear the NL25 or NL50 players and know I can overrun them quite easily so my downswings shouldn't be that hard, there's enough doubling up to real donks to cover some bad luck to other donks usually.
At higher levels, I'd prefer a tight BRM... there, downswings might be a little harder to recover from and I guess I just want to avoid having to move down a level (which will happen at one point in time, but when I see Timor's 2 level's downswing, I want to avoid that, big ego and all)
Before moving to SH indefinately, I need to work on play though. I tend to make too many plays, resulting in steadily grinding up, until the Matusowlike blowup comes and starting over again. ♦
First thing to do after the exams for me is reading some books first, 2 at least. Then watch some videos when I finally receive my PokerAceHUD license ... first I need to acquire a tolerance for the German accent though.
I won't divert from this BRM, except maybe the added percentages for shorthanded BRM. It might be safe enough as it is right now.
I already started NL25 when I had only 250 $ because I wanted to move up a bit faster and got sick of wasting time for bucks I'd rather work for and deposit into my account... if you know you can already beat NL50, it's a bit pointless to stay and play 30k hands at NL10 just to get the right bankroll. However, after I built a starter's roll of 1000 $, I want to move up the limits safe and sound

I made more than two hundred something though. This graph doesn't account for another 150 $ won on another pc, 50 $ of blackjack winnings (that was luck), 200 $ of MTT and some other small amount on SNG's
I just received an email from TitanPoker than my earlier existing account on which I had never deposited money yet played a few real money games with after winning some freeroll money has just been retracked to PokerStategy.
This increases the possibility I might go for TitanPoker next time, with 28.5 % rakeback in the form of a deposit bonus and eligibility to play those freerolls.
Does anyone know whether I could I reuse that reload bonus ? I.e. if I could withdraw and redeposit after clearing an initial bonus up to 600 $ and get another one ?
Any other news on Titan's playability over Party ?

Sonic , think you will find Titan far easier than Party/stars or tilt
playing 100NL finding it lot easier than Stars and the MTT are far better , won over $1400 for $11 buy-in last week
One advice for final table of MTT , if you are good at Sit-n-go play it like them and dont let them push you around
I tried titan, but it puts me on life tilt. I hate the software, it's slow, you can't resize the windows, the tables look shit (didnt user PS skin) and also it takes a long time (a week or something) to withdraw money and deposit is done in like 4 hours.
Time to restart. Put 400 € back on Party and will continue there for a while.
Lost KK to AA three times in my first hour though ... that's one way of saying "welcome back", hehe
