Perhaps a thread for all the little happenings in people's poker careers would be a good thing, a bit like the big threads in the 2+2 strategy forums (SSNL etc.), but with less bad beat stories?

My little news item: just broke 4k after a very rocky month sent me back from the threshold and played my first NL200 today, feels like I'm one of the big boys now (though I'm sure the big boys don't get jittery when putting $50 in a pot on a semi-bluff)! The results are obviously sustainable:

Nice winrates. :)

But you played more hands on NL100 than just 554? ;)

Obviously, just not today. (Putting in the hours isn't one of my strengths, I've only played 6.8k hands this month so far. Most I've managed in a month is 18k although I'm always trying to make myself play more.)

I wouldnt suggest playing NL200 with only 20 buy ins. Better safe than sorry

I drop back with 15, so I've got a very big effective bankroll. I was a bit shocked at how swingy 6 max is though after being a FR nit. I had been thinking that 20 buyins is very conservative for full ring, and now I'm discovering that the rule seems to be tailored for 6 max.
