New blog from greates city so far San Diego and worst one Tijuana..
New morning in new motel in San Diego,close to Mexico,sleepin s gettin better,hurray.
Yesterday our first stop was Huntington beach,the beginnin of surfing. Was realy bad weather,cold,rainy,but there were some surfers in the pacific ocean and it was very interesting to watch them. We did even make a sidebet on our horses that seemed cant ever catch the wave lol. Spent hour at least watchin them...
We planned to grill some lunch on the beach,but u know,weather. We headed to Santa Montica and talkee and talkee...seems ridiculous to us that u cant drink a beer on the street or beach for example and lot of other differences between states and our republic.
In San Diego old town we looked arround and had lunch in very stylish mexican restaurant. Food was great but best was the marghariras. It was like drinkin pure tequilla,so we were,except driver ofc,pretty drunk..hehe..
We took a motel and went to a steak/sport bar to watch NHL and have drinks,but again me and michal began tired so we literally fell in bad right after the match...but,looks that we slept much longer today so it s on the right way...fuck u time travel
We had breakfast at Aunt Emmas,from czech republic we r not use to breakfast like that so it was nice change..
Headed to Shelter island and there we started enjoyin greatest,nicest city..ocean,yachts,beach houses,palms,centre,everytin clean...weather was great...just nice we stopped at few nice places,dominik is great guide,we were to visit Middway museum,crossed long bridge to Corona island..i want to live here
Thn we headed to Tijuana,Mexiko. Full of expectations but...man we were w bit scared,weire ppl everywhere even on the main street,everyone selling everytin...brrrr...we took taxi back to the bowrder very quickly..
We sleep near to the motel from last night,lucky to have one queen bad - memmorial weekend..we went to the same bar as yesterday,few drinks,coronas...

So on the last day of our trip we were travellin literally thru the desert..we went thru Joshua Tree National Park and thn thru the desert to Las Vegas..it was suppose to be a shortcut and adventure..had really weird feelings there...there were notin...hot,sand,rocks,one road...adventure actually came in not so funny shape,we missed a turn and took longer way and voila we were almost out of fuel,was pretty close to make it to the highway...
Anyway,awesome trip,lot of fun,nice places and so on.
After we came to our great condo i finally slept well. Next day we went soon to Rio to play,Michal busted in last level of the day btw.
Single table satellites are in the biggest room,side to cash games. There are like 50 tables,lot of them runnin. Mostly 125,275,325,525,1030 buyins. It s always winner takes all,almost always there are lastlongers for usually 100 bucks,chops possible,funny tables,mix of all kind of players.
Fortunately i won the second one,relaxed a bit but that was the las hit for the day :))
Am writtin this waitin for new table to fill,hit the previous 325 without the deal,so..;) feels good
Atmosphere is great,so big rooms,so many players,famous ones...

I ll probably stop playin kings,got them sucked five times already...meanings all the times i had em except one case i won 75 chips preflop.....frustrating variance there,such a low volume so luck is actually needed to be in nice profit...so come on!!!
But i feel edge in most games,it s unlucky to be in headsup,have same stacks and guy is a player that dont chop,u get busted and so on...but u can run badly many days and thn win like three stts and u r in plus numbers...sick

Variance is always a cruel mistress, just harder to power through with volume in Live play I imagine.. You'll get there though!

I ve been playin five days straight,managed to play 36 satellites. ABI is around 250 and am breakeven,pretty much coz of laslongere where am 1k down. Usually when u sit to the table,someone proposes to play lastlongers for about 100,fige to ten players joins and mostly chop it when half of them remains. I still dont know how profitable it iss...there s no rake,it is with worse players than i am,but it also changes strategy sometimes. I dont know how to capcupate it but it might be bad for me coz am playin to win,not some double or nothing sit and blind out style...so i cwnt calc it,i have no sample...interesting.
I think i am adapting very well,my reads are almost always correct,have a good feeoin for it. Just need run good mode and it will be fine.
Another question is wat to play...up until 225 u get 1k stack,15 min levels and blinds are 25/25,25/50,50/100,100/200,150/300....275 and 325 buin u get 1500 stack. It s a huge difference,but there s also a big difference in the field. Am mixin it up but i ll probably seek for fishes in 175 more often...

last longer is +$EV. keep doing it! anything you can do to increase the ABI (for free, no rake) vs fish is a good thing. Its only -EV if there is a chance people would scam out of paying or if not very many people do it.

as long as the people doing it are worse than you. if they are all better than you then its going to be much more marginal.
Sure,if i didnt feel edge am not in those stts at all...my point was this - u play these winner takes all with the strategy of winnin it...lastlongers are most usually choped,so it s like double ups...and u take it coz u r not chipleader usually...so u play,u push,u dont wanna get blind out,but these fishes sit sit sit and and they last longer thn u if u dont flip or somehow make stack early...so is it profitable to take the chop of lastlongers? Example....whole table at 275 buyin goes lastlonger 100 bucks...u make it to five and there s a proposal of chopin the lastlonger money...u r not chipleader,blinds are high...
I mean...it must be profitable with fishes riht...no matter wat...
