Hey guys,

not having the best/luckiest time right now, poker is in rhythm of 2out, 3out, setup, not winnin anytin extra...always hurts, am just shakin my head...again, again, again.

Funny is that it soesnt go just for poker.
This weeks PGA Travelers - managed to put myself in a very good position with high winnnings, but from about 13th hole there started to be unreal changes...It was all about Watson, Stroud, DeLaet, but thn this guy Duke, 44 year old, never win birdies one hole with 5% succes put with the help of some bug or w/e at the end, next hole he hooks his green aproach to the woods and wat happens? bum, bam, bum and ball drops near the hole??? OK, but stil, Watson holdin lead, nice. Until he drives his ball in to the water on the 17th, great. So it starts to look Duke s gonna win, only Stroud could go with him in playoff if he birdies 18th, but he makes very bad shot to the green and it s off the green, down...bad position, so Duke is 1,01 favorite to win and am cutin my wins, makin it BE when Duke wins. BAMMM Stroud chip-in the 18th. Once in the life situation and there s play-off, but that means that if Stroud wins am huge loser, if Duke am BE...OK, solid sweat, first hole Stroud makin sand save, unreal again :) But at least next Duke wins the playoff and I was BE.

When am writin it am finishing another tables...same rhythm...
RUN BETTER GUYS!:)

Hey guys!

SO June is over. It started continuin my sick hot run, but after few days everyting changed. Since thn I cant hold the better hand, win..w/e. To calm down I played only fifty50 last days, I just feel it s almost no stress there, no ITM, HUs where it can be more painful to run bad. Unfortunately even there I hit a downer at 30s (why not at 15s right?) 60s I almost dont play coz it s just regfest for RB machines. These 15s reg speeds are very funny and easy money, 30s are okish I guess.
Next month it s gonna be about holidays, my daughter birthdays, after WSOP celebrations, my mums 50s birthdays...but I ll play a bit I hope :)

Numeros:

Hours: 88,5
Games: 1521
ABI: 27$
Winnings: 1319$
ROI: 3,2%
FPP value, BoP, Stellar: 1665$
TOTAL winnings: 2984$
TOTAL ROI: 7,3%
TOTAL HOURLY: 34$

I am satisfied even tho I made all the profit first day lol

GL!

Not much to say about poker, it s holiday time, we r travellin, visitin and I have hardly time and power, so I just play some 15s fifty50 or so, dont care about volume, just play to not get out of the rhythm at all. Unfortunately I am in such terrible spots, value bettin till the river where am cry foldin coz my oppo obv hits all the draws, not gettin hands at all, not gainin chips...no 3bet s gettin thru

Family wise it s more and more fun with my daughter Evelina, she s 3 years old now! and it s one joke after another. Best quote now is: "if u want, u want" Am very happy that I can be there for every important second of her life, that is sometin why I love poker for...
We were to my mums, to lot of ZOOs and towers and I dont what else, next week goin to Slovakia with my poker friend and his family, gonna climb some hills if children let us.

So basically havin good time, not stressin myself with anytin, if sometin thn how to build my daughters wooden rails with all the crossing so those trains dont collide :D :D

hey buddy!

finally finished reading the whole thing, its absolutely great! trully inspirational! You're obv a great player when it comes to the 'strategy' part but what i like even more is your attitude. First of all almost no rants which is obv not that easy sometimes, so unless you're throwing your mouse at the wall a few times a day and just don't brag abt it here you've got yourself a great mindset :) What's even more important imo, sth that i believe not a lot of regs have, is that even though youre obv crushing and are prolly one of the very top plrs in the world in your games you're still studying the game - i absolutely love this approach! I also believe in making your game solid enough to be comfortably playing without relying mostly on RB. Who says a decent ROI is not achievable anymore? If one is on 5% and have some leaks to plug it means he can easily go to 6% and so on. I believe it applies to those that are on 10% as well since it's impossible they're not making absolutely any mistakes :) So here's for constant learning! :)

keep up the good work sir and gl at the tables!

p.s just one thing i was wondering abt - you've never even seemed to think abt migrating to the 6max realm. Is there any paritular reason for it? That's what im doing atm, been playing FR all my 'career' but my ambition is to play HS and FR is simply not running. + 6max is fun :) and i believe there's even considerably more edge to gain since there's more postflop. It would be nice to hear your thoughts on the matter. Cheers!

Hey there!
U totally made my day sir!
I mean seriously, thank you very muhc for readin it all and for very kind words! Seems it makes sense not just for me to write this blog ;)

Rants and this - it is definitely combination of many factors. I went thru the long journey and ofc I had bad episodes/good episodes. It would be hard to be a good online pro grinder with high temper and no self-control, so that s one thing. I am more flegmatic but it doesnt mean I am cold to things I love - poker is one of them. I never try to take my emotions off the game, am not triyng to be a robot. It always slightly hurts to run bad, but it s more like very quick, obvious pain and after a short time it is more of fascination about poker, how easy can things change, how not solved this game is and how variance and cards can be I always hated crying posts and this and after some time playin sngs I also dont like all these under/over EV posts - for a long time now I dont care about EV, I made it easy to me coz KOs and fifty50s are calculated badly, also 18mans, so u know, was easier to just dont care. Ofc last end of year runnin so so bad (175BIs down at mid/high stakes) was painful and I did swear sometimes, my family noticed am rather unhappy, stressed and when they told me that and I realized how much I affect em, I just said to me, fuck it, family always first, we r not in some need of money or am not like superb ambicious to get SNE or so, so lets just drop games, drop stakes, make nice money, low variance, improve my game...and I said that it has to be fun..work also, but fun.
I ll give few examples of biggest influences to my mindset - ofc family, daughter, stress level, free time, that s sometin everyone needs to adjust - just get to know yourself, your capabilities and so on, find your comfort zone, dont play tired and so on...; Thn one day I for example thought about this EV and lookin after every session at results and I realize - maan if I won these AA CL vs CL on the bubble, results for whole session would be totally different...thn what if it happens 3 times a week? 15 times a month? Such a huge difference at results So...I say "poker, baby" or "we play SnGs, what do u expect" or "sick" and move on...; Or I say to me - if I needed money, coz of some bad situation family wise or so, I can always grind whole day 7s and make close to 1$ per game playin abc, so relax, have fun, u can always go back = thn I stoped takin care too much about safe roll andd so on. Or I have friends, stakers who like to invest into me if I needed coz I prove myself as a good player...
Overall I feel comfortable at games I play, I have posibilities to try play other formats here and there, try to climb up, I dont push myself to some volume, I try to play as muhc as I can but I dont play tired or so...coaching others is also fun and rewardin...what else... :D :D

I hope it s not too confusin, I write what I feel and I dont read it after myself

ROI - def u need to study and yes u can make significant ROIs if it s your goal...if u dont study it s very quick to start pushin a bit more, bit less, veeery easy :) Plus I love poker and spots and I always try to think about it differently.

For 6max - no particular reasons I played it 3 years before at low stakes, liked it..dunno...it s def next format after fity50 and 18mans so maybe in few months, year...:)

GL and TY!!!

There is a pretty big gap between quality of players on $7's and $15's onward.
