Hey guys!

Time for September wrap-up.

As u prolly know I did decide to go for 200k VPPs this year, meaning I was 105k VPPs short for that goal on 1st September. I was goin to grind only 30s 9/18man and quickly changed it to do it just in 9mans, 30s/15s. I did have 90BIs downer, but recovered, I didnt put volume I needed but it was more thn ever this year hourly wise (poor 110 hours), next months I need more...
Am still positive 1dollar per game preRB should be more thn achievable for me at these games, so I stick to the goals, challenge summary will be in the next post.

This month graph wise:

Numbers wise:
Games: 2008
Hours: 110
Profit: 1288$
ABI: 25$ (cca)
TOTAL profit: 1288$ + 1142$ Fpps value + 564$ stellar + 15$ BoP + 391$ other shit = 3400$
hourly: 31$

Definitely happy with this month, somewat average month for me :) That s never bad :)

SERIES:
Dexter - ending episode - WTF?! It was soo sooo bad, unbelievable...i wont spoiler it, but...should have ended few seasons back
Breaking Bad - this series ended nicely, I love it, overall very good series ;)
The Sopranos - endin last season and it s just awesome, as I said, these older HBO series rulez.
The Big Bang - finally started, still funny :)
New Girl - also simple funny :)
Suits - it s good I guess, it s just not my cup of tea but I am followin it...

OTHER:
Spend few days at my mums, had 50th birthday; met friends, family; our daughter is little 3year old devil currently, she s lovin kindergarden, kids, she s testin us like never before by "no" "no" "I dont like this" "I dont liek that" - typical stuff My wife s final exams are close and we r slowly findin place to rent back in Pardubice, yay.

WSOP 2014_
It s 99% official am goin, again with Michal Maryska who s gonna play lot of events and grind PLO cash, I will focus on 500s STT satellites and 1-1,5k events.
Guys, are any of u interested in goin to Vegas and grind these STTs with me for like 6 weeks? If so or want mor einfo, PM me. We would have rented villa, assistent to cook/shop and w/e so we can just play, ofc rented cars, full service, we would like to travel for week before wsop - this year North-West. Dont be shy, ideally u guys I know a bit, crush 15/30s+ and want to have fun ;)

we played this hand yesterday.you are SB.my plan was to r/c vs you and r/f vs BB(who was folding a lot).i think r/f is to weak so the only other option is to shove directly..

edit: very nice month... even though you didn't run so well you made some nice profit

No problem, it s not spammin :)

Remember the hand, but not sure if it s bounty or not and how aggr was the BB. As u said he wasnt, so raising is good plan. If to r/c me is another question, in this situation am pretty much without FE so my range will be pretty tight and if there s no KO in play your r/c me is not good imo. Maybe even with KO, but I dont remember exactly the flow of the game, how BB was fishy, was he foldin to u his SB and so on...It s possible that if I saw that BB was tight and u started raising btns I might widen = can be r/c A8o with KO easily...:)
Open shovin A8o there is throwin money imo.

Thx and GL

Morning,

"Open shovin A8o there is throwin money imo."

Do you mean that better to R/C rather than shove as shove only gets worse to fold and only better calls ?

Steve

If am not wrong it is very thin nash shove from btn with A8o...and in my experience, SB is gonna call hands like AT and if BB is fish, who know what he calls - and that s not the best scenario if BB calls us :) It ll not be like big minus if we just shove, might be very close, all about the ranges, but yes, there are better options like r/f r/c and if u wanna just push/fold, fold there is better option ICM wise I believe...if it was reg on BB that owns u every single time he s on sb and u on bb, thn i would take every thin + spot and shove A8 but if it s fish that can call me bit wider and can gimme walks and we can play low ball against him/her, am IN :)

this is ITM with antes right? A8o looks like a clear shove to me. but r/c or r/f could be better depending on opponents like you said.

So I did put it in the HRC and nash is A8o+ (+0,03) if SB calls 66+,AT+,KQs and BB 55+,A9o+ = so as I said, into reggy BB am shovin even tho it s thin, but if u keep same SB callin range and add few suited broadways calls to BB thn it s a fold - all about that BB guy, especially in KOs u can get ridicoulous calls.
But I should take back that it s throwin money coz if it s slight minus, especially in KO, it can be good coz u win bounty form SB in small % of time (really small).
But I stick to the r/f r/c scenario as much better one.
And throwin money would be A6o for example, lot of "regs" dont realize that in these spots :)

hey milan wassup

Ive been sharkscoping random players last few days at the 7's on stars and there seems to be some good players there. Even sometimes there are 3 or 4 players in the same game that have their sharkscoped blocked. WTF?? maybe they were just tough games....

Anyway ive decided i really wana go for this. My plan is for the next couple months to study my ass off. Watch videos here, study nash and study lots of stuff from the hand evaluation section. Either whilst still playing 1's and 3's on 888 poker or 1.5's ad 3.5's on stars. And hopefully in a few months be good enough for the 7's.

Is this a realistic plan in ur opinion or am i going too fast? Ive watched a few moshman vids so far and i think yeh i can do it. Then i look at some of the hand evaluation stuff and im like ahhhh wtf i dno wot id do here....lol

By the way i duno if this matters, but i was ranked 68 on sharkscope before they stopped doing 888 poker players a few months ago. My nash ranges are definately better since then so i maybe ranked better i duno.

First - player who has blocked SS doesnt have to be good, dont count em as good. Few regs are on every limit, but as I see 7s and know guys in there who play em, there s not that many regs and games are beatable if u r thinkin player.
The speed how quickly u ll move up depends on many things - u can start playin 7s right now if u arent money scared and ready to drop to 3,5s or w/e if necesary. Skill - just study/play and for 7s it is enough.
Ranked 68 - dont know wat it means, so it s irrelevant :)
It seems u need some confidenc boost, maybe talk to some reg at 7s or hire some not expensive coach to gain confidence and thn just crush :)

sorry for late reply i didnt notice the new page :)

yes i am scared of losing money when i dont have that much atm so i wil grind up a roll first whilst studying.

theres something interesting i saw in a 18man vid from fitzinator today. He was on the bubble, all folded to him in the sb. he and the bb were the shorty's with fitz a small chip lead. He made good point that if he folds here the gap between them closes, whereas if he shoves and takes the blinds theres a bigger gap and hes now forcing the hand of the bb to make a move. And so he went for an atc shove.

Now when i look in nash at a 9 man bubble, and the action is between the 2 shorty's in the blinds, its not an atc shove from sb. Wot do u think of this? Do you shove wider than nash because you have the sb covered and have a chance to knock him out and be itm?

It is very complicated, it takes lot of hours playin and studyin to get the real touch for stack dynamics on the bubble. First - nash is fine against guy who plays nash too - 99% of time u can adjust - tighten/widen. Second - there goes in play in situtions like u describe some future game, comin from your extra edge judgin the bubble, future scenarios, so he decided it is the best chance on the bubble, also prolly good shove coz BB dont call wide enough...But it isnt coz of the chance to knock him out and be ITM (it ll happen some small ˇof the time ofc, not bad), but it is mostly based on FE and on the theory that is is better to shvoe thn to fold coz of few reasons correspondin to wat i said above...;)
