I also unlocked a $50 stellar with is an extra 1/2 BI woot woot

pc crashed 4 times tonight

I was sweating gadget51 but finally gave up as the pc was not having it. It was also making a worrying sound on exit every time; so I follow Manu's advice and backup the fucker tonight.

The PC was horribly hot so I shut it down and went for a run while it cooled down

Before shutting down though, I finished 3rd on the Master stage 2 satellite (2 tickets) but got $8.25 which is a nice boost to my previous $0.82. I have now 4BI for NL2 so I could set myself a nice challenge (if I can be bothered )

I will see how far I get in the backup of the close to 500Gb of data.

hand 1) i think that flatting and raising both have merits but seeing as you have both k+q of spades as blockers for hands that utg+1 would flat (aqxs + akxs) i think i'd raise presuming that cutoff will find it hard to fold given his sign of strength.

hand 2) why are you flatting pre? without knowing these reasons i cant comment on the hand further.

hand 3) feel that you could make the bet size abit juicier 58 looks about the same but of course is 8 more bb...

Hand 1) I think UTG got a strong hand set maybe and even more likely a weaker flush, anyway a hand that he is likely to call on the flop and less likely to call on the river if a :spade: shows or the boards pair.

Hand 2)I flat because of the history , he folded a lot to 4bets before + I have position so I will call occasionally. I got the nuts there and I bet small to induce a bluff raise, in which he obliges (or at least he raise - but I think that his range contains a lot of bluffs) but after he bet i change my thoughts and was like wtf he only got $75 behind and I shoved, when IMO I could have got it or most of it otr.

hand 3) true, but I did think he had a weak hand so really wanted to give him the fake feeling that the odds are too good to pass

I am off in a few moments for the weekend.

I probably will set myself some challenges for august at least in terms of volume because I seriously lacked those last couple of months.

I am off to France for a week , next week and there probably will be no poker there.

(maybe live?)

where about are you going in France, Ras?

I think I have thought of a challenge for PKR, I had $0 this week so $0 - $1k
I will not set any time limit on this and play really occasionally when I have no time to do a session on stars or after a session on stars. etc...

I will use a very agressive BRm of 10BI move up 5 BI move down. I will start with 2 tables and try to get HMP working at some point. then might inrease to more tables.

current BR: $8.11

Given that I don't have access to NL2, I have currently 2BI for NL4 :f_cool:

This will be my second room with my primary focus on Stars NL100

I will set a target of 10K vpp for august given that I normally play 4 days a week and at the moment only 2 tables and only in the evening after work, it sounds like a real challenge. Providing that I am still doing fine when I come back from France I probably will switch to 4 tables. from the 15th.
