I had a pretty healthy stack out through the whole tournament, allowing me to go for bounties (which I think is worth much more than the actual payouts, in Saturday Special where 75% goes to bounties). It depends on your own skills, if you feel comfy battling on the streets, and ofcause also your opponents - their skill level, stack and bounty.
I ran super good in the tourny and made some calls that wouldnt make any sense in a normal tourny. Example when I had around 300-400 BBs sitting on the Big Blind, I called guys shoving for 20 BBs even tho my hand was trash (J7o, 56s etc.). The reason behind this, was that I could lock up $10-$50 just by knocking them out. Lets say MP with 20 BBs shoves. A lot of the time he have broadway cards, giving us around 30% against him, even with a trash hand (some times we are crushed by PPs too). But still, if we win 25% of the times we call, it is totally worth it in my opinion. 3 out of 4 times we lose 20 BBs and 1/4 we win 20 BBs + a bounty. This mean that we will lose 10 BBs in average by calling (probably even less) - but 10 BBs isn't worth anything.
When I hit top 50 in the Bounty Builder the payjumps were still only worth $5-$10 and took a lot of time to get the payjumps. By knocking someone out I was earning around $10-$50 at that time, so I literally snapcalled with 83o blind vs blind at some point, because I didnt care if I lost 20 BBs (only a few % of my stack).
When I got down to around 100-150 BBs I began thinking a lot more about ChipEV and collecting chips. I searched information about every player left in the tourny, trying to figure out if they were fun players or if they knew the game well. By knowing a little bit about all my opponents, I felt I could punish them more effective. My VPIP was +50%, but for some reason most of the players still respected my aggression - and when they didn't, then I usually had a easy decision.
I think it depends a lot on your opponents and your chipstack, but for me aggression is really working in a Progressive Superknockout where 75% of the money goes to bounties.
Also havn't cashed one single of my MTTs the last days, making my bankroll go from $2.880 to $2.750.
So I deleted my 20 pages hate mail for HM2 and began paying attention to the actual game 
Playing against approximately 50 different players, I only faced two crushers that looked decent. Besides them there probably was around 10 players who never have had a tracked 3-figure cash before - I am not too sure if I got extremely lucky with my tables or if the general level just is worse than I imagined.
