Madness! Madness! All is Madness!

CBetting would not work often, because of the "few worse hands will call"
Although I must admit I was disappointed not to see quad 4s

Nice hand!

All of the baby and medium pockets will call at least one bet. If we add some 2 overcards floats hero must cbet flop big portion of the time.

hi!

i aint no expert and this blog will mostly not be about discussing theories but sharing some intresting/fun hands.
i try to bring some joy into boring days.

but for the 1st time i share some thoughts of that hand:

- this board almost never hit any of us
- by betting i fold out a bunch of weak high cards (PPs and some strong BDFD Ahi, Khi remains)
- hard to get 3 street value against PPs
- PPs mostly float bet anyway so i will not lose value
- by checking i leave open the option to bluff hi cards anytime
- OTR i think most of his hands Ahi trying to go to SD (some of his other holdings should vbet or bluff earlier streets), i decided to get some value vs those

Yeah I agree with this. And the funny thing is he might have folded to a cbet OTF.

I understand that. But i prefer to ruin your fun and point you a mistake (so you can correct it) than being hypocrite.

You seem to be affected by the end result. This time might've work but it doesnt mean that your play is correct. You need very specific information and opponent to slowplay like that. Maybe if he is some sort of loose splashy whale then this will work.

Standard play here is a cbet OTF. If he calls then you check almost every turn. You could keep barrel on AKQ turn. Most of the time check call will be more reasonable. Then check raise any river.

the funny thing is he might have folded to a cbet OTF.

Actually it's quite the opposite FriskyArt. Our opponent seems to be a wreckless monkey so this leans toward cbetting OTF even more. I dont know on what stake is this hand but on the micros players will call a bet here with some overcards/pp (most of the time) but rarely betting it if hero shows weakness.

I am guessing it's a microstake game. He is slowplaying big hand witch is typical for big part of the microstakes players

As he should have without BDFD. But this is a result oriented view.
One should always plan ahead and try to find the most +EV line vs said villain's whole range and expected action.

Nice score!
Aces are nice on their own, but paid-off Aces is the best

1) Seems well played
2) Again well played
3)Why are you slowplaying on such a flop texture? It's a draw heavy board. You have a clear bet OTF

I would rather say balancing then slowplaying. Besides TT i like to check AA because it is the least vulnerable PP.
On this board i am way or way behind most of the time. Villain barely has draws.

But in this case as u should clearly see he was a beluga who likes to spazz any random shit. After the showdown i do not even undrstand why u asked this!!
