Good luck in climbing up the ladders! I myself had some odd $30 left to play on pokerstars so I too have decided to start grinding from the bottom up.

I'm currently 7-tabling $0.05/$0.10 FR and I agree, the level of 'play' is terrible, which for some reason doesn't work all that well for me. Luckily I'm still around 2 BB / 100 (only 4,555 hands tho) so I'm en route to move up pretty soon.

Merry christmas everyone etc etc etc. I don't live in a religious family and neither am I fond of wasting money on useless gifts, so christmas doesn't really affect me all that much. IMO people shouldn't only care about each other during christmas, they should do it all the time instead. Soo I've had a long nice sleep in the morning, had a "christmas dinner" with my family (we ate an octopus - very christmas-ish), then my parents went to our weekend house and I decided to play a bit of poker to relax. Then I got into a conversation with dippy19 over skype, in which we decided to go out and grab a beer together, and well that beer turned out to be 3 beers for each one. Then he went out with another friend, he also failed to get a tequila and bought a scotch whiskey instead so his friend might've been pissed at him a little bit ♦. I went home with intention to work a bit, but I somehow couldn't be bothered to do it so I played another session for like... 6 hours :|. At first I was just listening to music, then I decided to watch a movie during the session etc etc... I've played some decent (although more or less ABC) 2-tabled poker without doing many of the line balancing moves since it's only 0.05/0.1, but it was fun and swingy. I've seen that I do need to relearn a lot, that's why I'll probably do a sweat session with dippy over weekend, but i can still say that my game at the moment is good enough to beat the 0.5/1 fish. I'll be working most of the weekend because there is a lot of work to be done, so apart from that sweat session I'll try not to play until all is done. Oh yeah, and here's the graph, FL can be pretty swingy :

What does sweat session mean?

Sweat session means playing poker whilst someone is watching you. You usually discuss your game with him, seek leaks etc... It's similar to a free private coaching, the difference is that the person you're sweating with is on about the same knowledge level as you are, maybe a bit higher, and you can switch roles in playing and watching
