FTP reg?
Btw how is the tournaments on FTP compared to stars? Never really played anything else than FTOPS and double deuce.

I prefer tournies on FTP to stars because the field is smaller, but apart from that the structure is similar.

Sounds better for me then because I have noticed that I have been doing way better on smaller fields, at least on cake. Kind of sick finishing at top 50 on 10k+ fields only to see final table guys getting the big cake.

Watching some tennis now, Söderling vs Montanes on US OPEN :)

I am going to comment on the tournament hands since I really suck at cashgames, I think vonki could look at them she is awesome in cashgames :). well it is really hard to tell if it is right without stats or tells because without them these decisions seem very close.

The TT seems marinal at best unless you know UTG is pretty loose and so is UTG + 2 or that UTG knows that UTG is loose and thus isolates looser

the 88 hand pre seems fine to me but the 2400 bet seems off to me. I would of bet less like 1600 and then reevaluate if he reraises ( if he is a callingstation or a rock that only raises the nuts it is a fold otherwise you can fold ). but if you want to commit to the pot why not shove instant since a fold from you're villian probably not the worst thing that can happen.

I am probably not the best mtt player but have some experience so I hope I was of any help

lol I wouldn't say I'm awesome at CG, I am decent at my own level but this is NL200 and FR lol. I still feel like there is some stuff to comment on though...

In the 66 hand I would say there isn't much to say, I would have played the same way myself. If we know the raiser is crazy and capable of going broke lightly here or is capable of bluffing it's definitely the best choice to just call the flop and allow him to keep bluffing on the turn or go broke with whatever he has hit.

In the second hand though, I mean first of all you're playing midstacked? I don't like that at all. It changes your game compared to playing fullstacked. Apart from that, I don't think we should even call the flop, as I don't see many bluffraises on that flop, except for semibluffs which contain better flushdraws in which case you are pretty much drawing dead. The turnbet is what, close to potsize? Calling 34$ with 47$ left behind vs someone who mostly holds an ace or a better flushdraw here doesn't seem like a very profitable move to me :f_p: I would have folded on the flop already. On the river, do you really think he will 3barrelbluff with a busted draw? Because that and some random pocketpairs which he has been bluffing all the way from the flop (which he also won't do too often imo) on is the only hands you beat, and I don't think he'll be bluffing enough to make it a profitable call to be honest. =)

Don't really understand that screenshot from the CG either so can't say anything about it ^^ Besides, even if I did understand it tells me nothing about your actual play and only about the outcome which in my eyes is unimportant.

Yeah it feels like a close one, but with 7-8bb~ what kind of situations can I get into that are better? I guess you could argue to fold and find a better spot, but my thought was that I was going to either flip vs overcards or being ahead vs lower PP and ofc crushed vs the bigger ones. But would he push KK+ here?

Yeah I wanted to commit, just hate shortstacking. So guess I will push here next time :)

It's a 50bb max table, I really hate them and I'm a really bad mid stack player. Makes me feel committed to hands I'm not and play hands I shouldn't and so on. But PNR doesn't have many tables running daily, so I'm playing w/e is out there for me. Specially now when I have to finish a bonus, if I fail that I will end at 0% rakeback.

About the actually hand, it was just a stupid play from me. I react very bad to limpers, it's a big leak in my game that I should fix ASAP. I think flop call is decent vs limpers on PNR, they rarely show up with a higher FD here. Tho ofc it was a bad call on turn and it was one of those situations that you are just telling yourself that you should fold, but end up calling anyway thinking he might bluff. I absolutely didn't think he had an A, but I thought he could have random 2 pair or sets a lot of times the way it played. Maybe 45s, but didn't think that much of 45o. But yeah it's a fold.

It was just to post my results on CG and I'm trying to aim for the 100k BR and I will update on that soon.

on ftp the blinds go something like 40/20->60/30->80/40->100/50, while on stars it's 50/25->100/50 which is pretty steep!! (both with 3k starting stacks).
Stars' ante kicks in faster tho, which is why i actually prefer stars

I just read through your blog and for the sake of your readers (but far more for your own) I suggest you don't talk so openly about how much cash you have on all the different sites. Soon as someone finds out some of your usernames and maybe your email adress you can get pretty vulnerable to hackers.

Im just mentioning this since i lost 5k$ myself recently and i thought i was being careful :(

anyways good luck on reaching your goal, with such a big bankroll i would assume you'd be in some of the wcoops :f_biggrin:

omfg i have to post here! No troll post from ihufa!omg omg! He's finally saying something worth reading! First step done!keep going!

I kind of hate the early stages of tournaments, nothing really happens. But when avg stack is under 30bb the fun begins! But I love the antes, playing hands without ante is almost a waste. Feels like you need to tighten up so much more without ante :)

How did you lose 5k?
And isn't all the pros a bigger target?

Anyway about wcoop, I played like 5 events and cashed in 1. The $109$ for about $375 finsihed 532th/11k~

hey there. I see you play a lot on cake and payNoRake. how are they as platforms? what advantages are there to playing on each respectively as opposed to say FTP?
