The KK hand is really interesting.

Few coaches and players say fold, its not even close and some coaches say call.

Some say seems like a fold but I'd probably call.

I'm still not really convinced about either. Although what Gerv said about my equityshare ranging between 55% to 10% kind of makes me lean towards a fold.

I'm awaiting a reply from the handjudge too :]

So if you want you can fold. I´d likely would call KK and fold AK/QQ

They all have >100bb stacks and a guy cold 4bets. Say he can cold 4b shove QQ+, sometimes AK there so against him you could get it AI pre an be slight favourite. But you have another 2 players that have shown good strength by raising UTG and the one that 3b UTG. You have KK therefore the other KK or an AK is unlikely but not impossible. I think overall against them KK is not good enough and at least one of them will show up with AA 90% of the time.

I see exactly why people say it could be a fold, and all th reasoning is right. I'm more scared of the 3bet rather than the 4bet range. Obviously if the raiser/3bettor call you are drawing to 2 outs maximum, but then again if they are unknowns its 25nl so they could potentially call it off pretty thin.

In summary, folding here is definitely OK and I think the ev between calling/folding is so minimal that it doesn't actually matter which line you take.

Did you sit out?

Results? :P

I fold this but I can help you to convince yourself to call
utg raises lets say TT/JJ or AQ, utg2 3bets AK, mp3 shoves QQ or 88-99-TT, u call dodge the bullets and easy win... it is possible that ur against AK/AQ and QQ, but in my experience AA is there at least 95% of the time, usually at UTG2 because its rare to see ppl 3bet utg with AK or even QQ, ppl rather call AK/QQ and re-squeeze vs light squeezer..

vonki has requested TIME
vonki has timed out
vonki folds
volodK64 folds
Wobme folds
Kobeebz folds
RogerPL1 folds
Uncalled bet of $23.24 returned to MP3
MP3 mucks
MP3 wins the pot ($6.20)

Couldn't find a reason to call before time ran out... =)

Which one are you?

I just feel like answering this since I am currently studying very hard for my exams tomorrow and friday.

I think in order to do the stuff you want, you obviously need to do stuff you don't want. That's my philosophy.

You will be nobody in life without money usually, it's a fact. Therefore you should work hard when you are young to make sure that the remaining of your life you will be able to do whatever you like / want.

So my philosophy is pretty much money will make you do whatever you want but to archieve money you must do stuff/studies that you don't really like.

Also that would include not becoming an artist because the pay is so bad (usually, unless you are the exception) so trying to find a job with a good future..(Pharmacist, sciences, lawyer, etc)

I think I am off topic again. Sorry but I could pretty much answer 4 pages of text to taht question hehe.

If we are talking hobbies here, well, you need to set your priorities for sure again. You can't do what you "want" because we all have responsabilities.

So yea, I am not doing what I want right now so much, but it's all part of the plan to be able to do it when I will be older. From 27 yo+. (No more studying, vacations, massive pokerage, etc.)

Hopefully I don't die before that _biggrin:

If it's even money decision, then it's a fold cause you would pay rake otherwise :)

About the KK hand: Best case scenario when you call, everyone else folds and he shows up with AK which you "only" have about 65% chance to win against. But most of the time one of the three will wake up with aces and you will have 18% chance to win. I think fold and its not even close to even money. Could be wrong, think you made good fold, not sure i could make it ingame :P

I think the 3better very often has a range looking like KK+ there. And since you have two kings... You can do the math of how likely he is to have aces if thats the case :f_biggrin:

sometimes we are better off not playing. still not sure weather today was one of those days or not

since I was bored by laying in bed all day (been ill) I decided to put in a session towards the evening. I cant say I played exceptionally well but I can't say that has been the case since I started playing rush anyway (I still find myself in so many situations where I manage to play myself into tricky spots).

Especially towards the end I started messing up many spots and I realized I wasnt paying as much focus as I should, so I just quit.

Bottom line is I ran good so I don't think it did any damage really, every chance we get to work on our non A-game is a good chance anyway imo. Some will say we don't have B and C games etc but I still take it as an oppertunity because it's not like we'll be able to work on our bad habbits/plays whilst playing good. It's also a fact we sooner or later will play bad regardless if we want to or not. So why not take every chance we get to work on it whilst actually being aware of it? Probably makes no sense to anyone but it does to me

Now it's time to get some sleep so I can come back tomorrow with full power and without any illness and plaaaay my best! :f_grin: (god this smiley is so cute! )

Oh and btw I watched "A kid's game" today. Didn't really find it that interesting. I mean 95% of the stuff in there is stuff we already know or storys we already listened to. Some might find it inspirational, I for one didnt. I think there is way more and better material to watch out there then that.

over and out

xoxo

Ur blog is soo alive lately =) Hard to follow

With available infos, i think this hand is so close you basicly cant make mistake either way =) Thats why i wouldnt waste time searching for the correct answer, we may not find it =)

Im folding there as im not a huge fan of variance + its not like ur getting exploited here. Calling might be good to get some reads for the future.

I know this didnt help you :f_biggrin:

You know how some days, you come back from example shopping-day and you know its a bad idea to play yet you somehow manage to convince yourself to play?

It may be because you are on a x hands/month goal, or because you need x FTPs/day for iron man, or just because you are to stubborn.

You know how you simply cant resist playing even though you know you will be on passive tilt and end up spewtilting when you get a badbeat?

Well, I can resist it.

Plan was to play a session but I feel it would be a disaster and since I am serious about treating my poker as a business I am sure the best option is not to play. Today, my head is the boss of my emotions! :f_love:

So that means I'll be off enjoying my friday night without regrets now! Have a great weekend people!
