Okay, so yesterday I decided I was going to play a few MTT's. I started some 3-5$ MTT's like I normally do. I had 10$ or smt left from the PCA qualifiers and stuff on pokerstars so I decided to register for a SH MTT just to practise my 6-max game a bit and fill out with more tourneys.
As you all may know, I dont play SH normaly. I have tried a couple of times but without success at that time (CG). The first couple of hours I was a bit steamy just because I dont have a great mindset atm. I'm just so emotional and speewy ♦
After a couple of hours I had been knocked out of my other tournaments, and I still had my 6max tourney so I just kept playing. Anyways, I was above average stack most parts of the tourney, and when we got closer to the bubble I actually felt proud I had even gotten this far.
I kept playing and my play was very solid and I had good reads on most of my opponents and I took advantage of all the information. From here on, I actually played very well, and I am proud of myself.
A couple of hours more passed by, and I started getting really tired as the tourney had been going on for so many hours. I got a quite nice amount of playable hands, and my opponents seemed to be rather scared of playing me. I had a moment where I lost QQ vs 77 preflop all in for a big amount of chips, which made me steam around for a couple of hands but my opponents didnt seem to notice and my steambluffs gave me some chips.
After that I decided I had to pick up my game again, and that I wasnt about to waste all my hard work on loosing my temper. I kept on playing good, and before I knew it we were down to 2 tables. This is where I really started realizing how far I had come. By this time I was really tired, and had a hard time focusing.
With with 9 players remaining i pick up 9dTd on the BU and with 2 tightish 10-12bb stack on both SB and BB i shove from button. At this stage I dont have more then 20-25bb myself I think. Surprisingly, I get called by both players and SB shows AQo whilst BB shows 66. Not that bad, just need to get a bit lucky.
Said and done, I hit a flushdraw on flop and i hit it on the river! A couple of hands later another player from the other table busts, and we are down to the last 6 standing - the final table. At this point I start to get nervous, because now there is sooo much at stake. When we started the final table i was 5/6 in chips, but the stacks were rather even in 4th-6th.
Anyway, a player busts with the typical QQ vs AA and myself I keep playing really well. I win some pots and have a good feeling because none of the players are scary to me. I lost some pots too and was down a bit for a while until i get to double vs the chipleader.
Like sent from heaven, the chipleader also manages to suck out with 99 vs JJ and another player busts. I make a resteal vs another big stack with AJ on SB to his BU openraise and he actually calls with AT. He sucks out on me on the flop, and i suck out on him on the turn. Fair.
I keep winning a few pots, I have position on a player who is bad and who'm i trapped with AA and stole a few more pots from.
Eventually, the player who called my my restealshove with AT gets involved in a pot with me. This is the hand posted further up, where I just trusted my guts. My brain told me I should be folding because I dont beat much here. My guts on the other hand told I should call, and I figured I still had cards to catch.
It turned out to be a very nice call, which also secured me another 300$.
Going into 3handed action everything felt unreal to me and I was really excited. I almost had a 3:1 chiplead on both players now, and that fact scared me a bit. I took advantage of the well needed break and got my thoughts straight. I went back rather calm and decided I was gonna play my best game ever. And so I did.
I took advantage of my stack and raised alot, took down alot of pots both post and preflop. I lost a couple of smaller pots every now and then but I gave hem a hard time getting any chips from me at all. Eventually to my excitement, the other 2 gets it all in preflop vs each other, the weak player on my right having AK and the other player having KQ.
No suckout, and I was thrilled to learn I was now gonna be playing heads up against the bad player on my right. I still had a comfortable lead, and most important of all: I had an edge on him. Heads up he would complete alot, and not raise so much but every now and then he did that too.
I decided to mix up my game, to confuse him completely. At first I only raised against him and he folded - alot. At the same time I knew he was very fishy so all I had to do was to see a flop together with him where we both hit something. Luckily I had the perfect moment to wake up with KK, when he raised. I decided to trap him and oly call preflop. It worked well and I got some chippies of him 
Later on I started completing hands myself as he wouldnt call my raises and I wanted to see flops with him. I now had a 3:1 lead on him and things were going really well. I completed again when I had AK as he had raised me the last 2 times I had completed and hoped for the same this time.
To my excitement he did raise it up. I decided I wanted more money in the pot, so I 3bet him. I have no idea what he was thinking, I dont think he was... he rather quickly raised it all in, and I of course called him but I had my worries.
The cards I saw before was A7o. I couldnt wish for anything else in that situation ♦ Did it hold up? Yes, it did. That's a 600$ trap right there, and he kindly walked right into it. ♦
So there it is... 1st out of 5300 players. An increasement of my bankroll with more then 100%. I played really good poker for 9.5 hours and I got greatly rewarded for it
I still see it in front of me when the chips all come my way after the river in the last hand. The feeling was undescribable... I just still can't completely believe it ♦
I think that the winst this morning really proves to me that I have grown alot as a pokerplayer and that I in fact am able to handle SH I guess. I am proud of myself, and very happy.

Okay. So I hereby declair my CG-break over, it is time for me to officially return to the Cashgame tables!
I decided to try 2 sessions of SH yesterday, and I must say I am very happy with the result. I played on NL10, and I felt I played very well. Playing like that, I will beat NL10.
So what I decided to do is:
- Play 5-10k hands on NL10 and see how it turns out. If it turns out good I will move up to NL25 SH.
I am overrolled for NL10, and NL25 too but I think NL25 should be within my comfortzone.
I will deposit 300$ to stars in a minute, for the first deposit bonus (yes its crazy since I have 1,6k$ on the account already but I never made a deposit so I still have the bonus ♦).
Later on I will make a second deposit for the full 600$ bonus (so 300$ more). But one step at the time
I shall begin my journey in a while, and I have to say I look forward to it ♦

Okay so time for a little update. I played on stars, and... I'm not really comfortable with it. There are things that are quite tiltinducing to me.
So I've deicded to play on FTP for a while instead, I mean whilst learning and moving up It's important to me that I feel comfortable about the software and stuff so I can focus completely on the game.
I lost some money due tilt/steaming/whatever you wanna call in pokerstars and I'm not gonna try to hide that. All in all I think I am down like 80$ on stars or something, but I have won like 40$ on FTP so far so I dont think it is that bad... the worst part is just that I cant aviod tilting sometimes.
So for now, I'll be playing on FTP and just forget about what happened on pokerstars... I now have 1400 hands or something, and after 5k-10k hands I will look again and see how it feels. So far, it feels quite nice.

Its pretty interesting you can play your A game in tourney for plenty of hours till final heads up without that much of a tilt.. And when you sit down at cash games tables you seem to be less tilt resistant..
I wonder why so... Have you thought about that?=)
Im pretty sure you gonna do fine on FT Soon there shall be an update removing all those SS pros so then we can feel even better playing on FT =)..

Yes, I have thought about that And actually... I did think about it. And... well, I was a bit steamy in the other MTT's and stuff. I just managed to pick myself together and play better after a couple of hours.
I will be grinding FTP's for the book "poker mindset" though, i think it might be good reading.
And well... I dont really feel very threathened by the shortstacks i have ran into on the SH tables, they're just fish and easy money. ♦ But if there wouls be a higher minimum buyin, there would be more money for me to steal

Crap i forgot you play SH! Then i guess you really are not that much concerned about shorties =)..
Poker Mindset is definitely a great book to read!! Im gonna read it right after GRK finishes it... Which is gonna be sometimes around 2012.. ♦

Okay, yet another day has passed, and I'm getting closer to my 5k hands. ♦ I am so excited!
Things are still going well. I feel more and more at home for every day that passes. I still manage to get decent results on NL10, and I had my 5th winning day in a row today. Cant wait to move up and start exploring next level. ♦

So yea, I did kind of tilt a bit today.
BUT, I am a lucky bastard, and the day still ends in the green sign even though it was swingy and I tilted away a buyin or so.
Bowah. No, not happy about today but hey it happens. Sooner or later it will motivate me to get stronger from it so it's not ALL bad. But whatever. ♦
