I guess you folded the last hand? ♠_cry:
hm, im no expert, but doesnt make much sence to me for him not to shove hands better than 3x otr..
the minR def puts some bluffs in his range imo
Nice blog btw, nice too see someone crushing :))
I am feeling great and playing even better!
Just finished tonight's session

September so far (only two days played :P)

I have marked ~100 hands that are interesting/need reviewing. I will try to post a few in the next few days
Tomorrow I am flying back to the UK so I wont be online too much.
Looking forward to the VIP party in London.
If anyone wants to meet up/hang out before the event drop me a pm!

0% bluffs!
When a fish limps, calls twice and then min raises the river he either has the nuts or is suicidal
And no I dont expect fish to shove with the nuts, the tend to minraise bets some of the times. I guess they are doing it to ensure we call 100% the extra bet
Oh enjoy a new beat guys!

747 hands later am up $167 ;p
I invested $5 for wifi . Thats 33400% ROI! ♠_biggrin:
Regarding the session, there were so many weird/funny hands vs bad regs
I got a guy to 5b shove on me from sb vs btn with T8o

GREAT BLOG!!!
Congrats man, I will read the whole thing, just started going through it and couldn't agree with you more with all you said below. Most of my mental game problems are ego related and trying to run over regs and stuff.
I will definitely follow your blog, I have a feeling you have improved a lot from NL50 (seeing just couple of posts and mindset you are probably NL200+!!!)
Keep up the great work !

Advice:
I would like to share some advice with you guys that i find very helpful. Well, every time you sit start a session keep one thing in mind. You are playing the game to make money. Thats your number one priority.
As a result how you should approach the game is the following. You must play only hands that can make you money. You dont need to prove that you can play every hand from every position. Thats not the point. You are there to make money. ie: You have 64s in the CO. If you believe that you can play that hand from that position profitably then do it, if not then dont. Personally i would only open that if the button is really tight and blinds are passive as well. If this is not the case then I dont think i can make any money from this hand and therefore fold.
Also this applies to dealing regurals. You dont need to prove to them that you are smarter than them or anything. You are playing the game to make money remember? Therefore you dont need to go crazy on them to get them to fold good hands. I am not saying you should play back at them ie If you think a check raise can make you more money by betting then do it. But dont start triple barrelleing all regs all the time with air. You will not make money that way.
Let the other player do the crazy bluffs and spew their money to you. Leave your ego aside and play solidly.
Conclusion:
Your number one goal when playing poker is to make money
1) Only play hands that you think can make you money
2) Do moves that you think can make you money
3) Leave your ego aside
4) Dont spew
If I called in the previous hand this would have happened

Wow!
I see you posted this in February 2013. Is it really like this, people stacking off light in multi way pot on NL50?!?!
I played a few k hands the past two days and i am still doing great. The only thing that worries me is that i spewed a few BI and i havent done that in a long time.
I am heading off to meet my fellow Pokerstrategists for the London VIP Party. Should be fun
Hey guys thanks for the kind words.
Quick update
I am having a great time in London. Lovely city with so many things to do
In the past 2 weeks I played only 5 times live, 1 time 1/1 and 4 times 1/2 and won £2.2k ♠_cool:
Almost half of the winnings was from a 14 hour session playing 1/1 with 20% rake
My last session was at Empire Casino where I went at 5pm and left the next morning at 10 am. My profit was around £900 but if it wasn't for a big cooler it would have been much higher
Online I didnt play too much but I think I am up 1.5k USD.
Overall a great month!
For the remainder of the month I will concentrate on doing job applications so I wont be playing too much.
Wishing everyone to run good!

4) Dont spew
Why do you have to spread this secret for?
1. Play only AA, KK and some QQ and MAYBE AK if table is good.
2. 2-4 is almost the same. IF you just do #1, then you won't have these problems.
