Playing the 72o game for a WPT title

We are not officially playing the 72o game but can we still find a profitable and solver approved bluff with the worst hand in poker?

Our friends at the Unibet sponsored Chip Race are joined by WPT Champion Soheb Porbandarwala to discuss a seemingly crazy hand he played on his way to the title...but was it?

Spoiler alert, our Hero check/raises the river with 72o as a bluff while also having showdown value. It was a limped pot where both players had very similar capped ranges, so the advantage went to his opponent in position. 

By the river there are possible flushes and straights out there, as well as much better pairs than the middle pair we have with our 72o. However, our deuce does block the flush, is that enough to turn this into a bluff?

The guys discuss the solver approved lines when it is wide range vs wide range as well as what the right kinds of hands to river check/raise as a bluff are. They also give a warning about the dangers of thin value betting tough opponents because it opens the door to further aggression. 

A new Unibet rake race for April

As in November and February, Unibet is starting another edition of their central Rake Race this April, with our players once again competing with a player pool from different affiliates to get their hands on one of the coveted prizes.

The competition will be harder compared to our exclusive race in the past, but there's also much more to gain with €30,000 given away per month compared to €6,500 before. What's more, the race will again see 50 instead of 40 places being paid, with the lowest prizes starting at €25 and the main prize being a whopping €3,300.

While it will be tougher to get your hands on one of the lower prizes, if you've been able to hit the top positions in our exclusive race, you should now even score a bigger payday with the new structure according to Unibet's calculations.
