One successful TaFer (referrer) from the Swedish community is , who developed his own way of referring friends and earning money with it. In our interview he talks about the Swedish community, about his blog and about things he could afford with the Taf money.

PokerStrategy.com: Hi jockye, you are well known in the Swedish Community, but others might not know you so well. Can you tell these people a bit about yourself and what you do?
: Well, I am 23 and first joined PokerStrategy.com about three years ago. It took a while for me to really take an interest in the site and the forum. I actually didn't realise that there was a Swedish Community, so I spent a lot of time in the English forum. Eventually I found the Swedish Community and started to become really active. In those days there were no moderators in the Swedish forums and I was very proud to be announced the first Swedish moderator ever.
This has been my main task over the years. But I now have tons of things to do. I also began to translate strategy- and news articles into Swedish and I also write local news articles, focusing on Swedish successes all over the world (and I have to say we are quite successful *smile*). Other than that, I try to make the Swedish forum a better place to be.
PokerStrategy.com: What do you think about the TAF-program in general?
: You really must like it! What is there not to like? I would certainly have told all my friends about PokerStrategy.com anyway. This is just a way to do it more easily, and of course you can earn an extra buck!
PokerStrategy.com: What are the most common questions in the forum?
: Most questions are technical like, "How long does it take to make a transfer?"

PokerStrategy.com: What have you managed to achieve with the TAF-program?
: I have about 40 referred friends of which 15 have received the starting capital.
It is really interesting. I have got 40 people to take interest in the site, but only 15 of them got far enough to recieve the starting capital. They are all interested in getting some extra cash to play with, but as soon as they have to make an effort into it (the quiz), they quit!
All in all, I received $435.
PokerStrategy.com: How do you convince a friend to join PS.com?
: This is actually really tricky. Swedish people are in general somewhat sceptical towards sites where they get money for free etc. They just can't believe it, and as a matter of fact neither did I at first. Even some of my closest friends is still not to be convinced.
Anyway, the thing I did was create a blog on a daily evening papers homepage. I only copied everything I wrote in my blog here at PokerStrategy.com and put it in this other blog. There I also referred to PokerStrategy.com with a TaF-link. Though I haven't updated this blog in about two years, it still gets me some occasional friends. I am pretty sure that if I were to update it more often I would have many more referred friends. And I will, starting on the 1st of January 2010. The thing with a blog is, if it is a good and sincere blog, people put their trust in it.

PokerStrategy.com: What have you bought with your TAF-money? Anything special?
: It is not like I have bought a car like M4STOR did. He is a pure genius by the way. But I bought an Xbox360.
PokerStrategy.com: What are the best tips and tricks you can give the rest of the world concerning being successful with our TAF-program?
: Well, it really is a question of making people put their trust in it. It doesn't matter if it is in real life or in a blog. PokerStrategy.com is a brilliant site, but almost no one realises it until they become a member. How to do this best I really don't know. I put it in writing in my blog and it works for me.
PokerStrategy.com: Do you have anything else you wish to add?
: Nothing except wishing all PokerStrategists good luck at the tables!
PokerStrategy.com: We want to thank you for this interview and wish you all the best on the tables as well!
