In this week's top thread PokerStrategists have opened a discussion on martingale betting strategy in poker. For those in a less serious mood, there is a new topic on poker jokes. Meanwhile, our strategy section of the forum saw the rise of ganging up on the bubble boy idea as well as some interesting hands up for analysis.

1. Moving UP to recoup losses

For the sake of argument, hackbinder opened a thread on moving up the limits to recoup losses in poker.

The old "if a gun can shoot a rabbit, can it shoot a whale?" theory lies behind this idea, as it occurred to hackbinder that it might be possible to apply the martingale betting strategy to poker.
