The Retro Series is back at 888poker with $1.7M GTD

888poker is currently hosting another old-school series, including a huge $500,000 GTD Main Event and a $200,000 GTD Mystery Bounty coming this Sunday!

Celebrating their ongoing 20-year anniversary, 888poker is again bringing back the old school with their Retro Series, this time fitting the good old days into an entire XL Series schedule.

The $1.7M GTD Retro XL Series is running from October 9-25, with buy-ins ranging from $11 to $2,100 and a total of 27 tournaments hosted in the two-week timeframe.

The biggest of them all, the $500,000 GTD Main Event with a $250 is structured as a multi-flight tournament this time around, with starting days available from October 20 until the big finale is played from October 24-25.

Additionally, 888poker is hopping on the bandwagon of the year, running a Mystery Bounty event during the XL Retro Series this Sunday, October 16 at 18:00 GMT, coming with a guarantee of $200,000.

$215 will have to be put down if you want to be part of the Mystery action where random bounties are up for grabs, but there's much more on offer during the series, including a wide range of possibilities available to qualify for a fraction of the cost through satellites...

Another excellent event during the series is the XL Retro #26 Super High Roller, running on October 23, featuring the highest buy-in of the series with $2,100 and a prize pool of at least $150,000. On top of that, 888poker has also scheduled Retro versions of their regular PKO Rumble and Big Shot tourneys!
