The next new game at PokerStars - Swap Hold'em?
We recap some stories you may have missed including the Sunday Million will be a PKO again and Tony G wins a High Roller event.
Swap Hold'em coming to PokerStars
In a rare instance this writer has beat pokerfuse to the punch in spotting a potential new format from PokerStars, as the tournament lobby is showing a filter for a yet announced game.
There are no 'Swap Hold'em' games running yet so we can only begin to speculate what such a format might offer, but presumably it will give players the chance to exchange their hole cards and/or board cards at some point, as you can currently do in Power Up.
PokerStars do have a casino game called 'Swap the Flop' which is somewhat self explanatory.
Also in the new update of the PokerStars client some players have noticed SkyBet links on the table, rather than BetStars. Last year the Stars Group completed their acquisition of the sportsbetting giant from the UK.
The Sunday Million to be a PKO again
For the second time, and for two weeks, the biggest weekly tournament in online poker will be played as a Progressive Knockout tournament.
The $109 Sunday Million will be a PKO on August 18 and 25. $50 from each buy-in will go to the bounty prize pool with an initial scalp of $25.
The first time this was tried on March 31 the event attracted 12,790 entries and its winner won $63,416 and $28,055 in bounties.
Tony G wins the Short Deck
He played it like a set! He got an Ace from Space! He sent all his opponents on their bikes!
Yes, Tony G is very much back at the tables and in the winner's circle. The original poker bad boy just won the €25,500 Triton Short Deck event at MILLIONS Europe in Rozvadov.
He took down a first prize of €237,250 and was in jubilant mood afterwards:

Bicknell hits Quads!
Kristen Bicknell is crushing over in Rozvadov and made her second High Roller final table of the week, which plays out tonight. She was also involved in another jaw dropping hand to help get her there:
