Streamer wins GG Bad Beat Jackpot live on Twitch

We often write about Bad Beat Jackpot winners because the prizes are huge and the hands are funny, but we rarely get to see one happen live. Normally the best we have is a picture of the final hand taken for posterity. 

Thanks to Twitch we actually got to see one happen in real time last week, as streamer 'phil_sn' won one at the GGPoker tables. 

His Quads Nines were not good enough for the Quad Queens of his opponent (there was also a potential straight flush to beat him too):

He won $34,135.19 for having the unlucky hand, while the hand's 'winner' pocketed $10,540.55 and everyone sat at the table bagged $2,810.81. If that wasn't enough he also qualified for GGPoker's GGCare $100,000 Flipout for taking such a bad beat. 

He was in the middle of a $250 to $25,000 Bankroll Challenge and has previously won $11,000 in a Bad Beat Jackpot, that time he had the winner with Quads Sevens over Quad Threes. 

The GGPoker Bad Beat Jackpot is triggered whenever a player loses with AAAKK or better. The hand must go to showdown, both hole cards must be used and for Quads the player must have a pocket pair, the board cannot run out Trips or Quads.
