Dan Bilzerian is still a GGPoker 'partner'
It appears reports of Dan Bilzerian's demise have been great exaggerated as GGPoker confirmed he is still working with them.
Earlier this month we brought you the news of the apparent firing of Dan Bilzerian by GGPoker on International Women's Day. If you look back at the article you will notice we did not definitively say he had been ousted as an ambassador and it appears our cautious reporting has been vindicated.
Yesterday the GGPoker Twitter account announced that Bilzerian was still a 'partner' of GGPoker and they were working on projects together.
Replies have been disabled, but as you can imagine there are some fiery quote tweets in response to this news:

We will continue to work closely with Dan to engage with new player communities and grow our favorite game.
Expect to hear about some new and exciting partnership activities in the coming months.

Forgive the indulgence, but this writer had a feeling something like this was going to happen. Something did not quite add up about the 'no comment' from GG despite the fact that his 'removal' came as part of a big gesture, given it was on International Women's Day. If you were going to oust somebody famous for having a terrible reputation with women on that day, surely you would also make some sort of PR statement?
Bilzerian is still gone from the GGPoker client, his emotes or Battle Royale branding have not been reinstated yet. One would assume that the plan going forward would be for him to have limited involvement with the actual site (he was never on it anyway) but we might see him wear a GGPoker badge when he is doing some other sort of promotional work outside of poker circles.
GGPoker certainly do not mind causing outrage in the industry and this could all be part of an elaborate troll - keep your BS detectors finely tuned on April Fools Da'y next week.
