Epsen Jorstad wins the 2022 World Series of Poker Main Event
A satellite win turned into $10 million at the 2nd biggest Main Event of all time - congrats to Epsen Jorstad!
Norway's Epsen Jorstad is the 2022 World Series of Poker Main Event champion. He bested the 2nd biggest field in Main Event history to take down the title and $10 million after defeating Natural8 Pro Adrian Attenborough heads-up.
If the name sounds famililar, Jorstad won the Tag Team bracelet this year with Patrick Leonard and also made the final table of the online WSOP Main Event last year at GGPoker.

This time, Attenborough cannot find the fold.
With his full house, Jorstad claims victory in the Main Event and the $10M first-place prize.

Jorstad has now jumped into the number one spot in the Norwegian All Time Money List, leapfrogging Felix Stephensen. He told PokerNews after that his goal going forward was to start playing $25,000 High Rollers with his new bankroll.
It was one of the better Main Event ROIs too as he qualified for the event online at GGPoker for $1,050:

He is also the third player to win two bracelets this year alongside Daniel Weinman and Daniel Zack. It looks likely that Zack is going to be the player who wins the WSOP Player of the Year as the final bracelet events come to a conclusion today.
