The Festival Bratislava to feature a HORSE(S) Main Event
A mixed game main event in Europe? Find out what the extra S is for, and more, with the schedule for the next instalment of The Festival.
We told you our friend Frankie at The Festival Series was on a one-man mission to bring affordable mixed games to Europe, and he has not disappointed.
The schedule is out for The Festival Bratislava, which takes place between November 26 and December 3 at Banco Casino Bratislava.
As usual there are a ton of fun side events that make this tour unique, including Crazy Pineapple, Sviten Special, Heads-Up, Slots, Roulette and Blackjack tournaments. This is in addition to a €500 No Limit Main Event with a €500,000 guarantee.
The headliner grabber, perhaps, is an additional Main Event. There is a €550 HORSES Main Event taking place across three Day 1s. HORSES is Holdem, Omaha Hi/Lo, Razz, Stud, Stud Hi/Lo and the extra S is for the Swedish format Sviten Special. You can learn more about that final format below:
This is one of the first times we have seen a non-Hold'em event Main Event at a European Poker festival. Long may it continue.
